The Space:

THE WILDLAND LOFT is designed as a peaceful and serene mountain getaway. Pet friendly with a $100 pet fee.



Note About Children: The space is not suitable for children under 8 - there is open access to a steep stairway, nothing is childproofed. By booking this property you accept full liability for the safety of yourselves & your pets.

Mindfully designed to help you disconnect to reconnect, the WILDLAND LOFT has an optional Smart TV, tucked away in a closet for you access if you wish. Also, it should be noted that the LOFT sits on the same property as 2 other wellness cabins, but no shared spaces. Each cabin has a dedicated parking space, and dedicated, private outdoor area.



Round out your trip with a beautiful brunch at Mile High Cafe, or a morning coffee at Alpaca Coffee and Tea - located just a 10-minute walk down the road. The town center of Idyllwild is a quick 3-minute drive from the property, or a beautiful 30-minute walk - along with hiking trails accessible within a 5-10 minute drive in all directions. You will be sent a “Best-of Idyllwild Guide” upon booking - chock full of recommendations for the most magical mountain experience.



Hoping to bring a few more folks with you? Check out the Wildland Clarity Cabin and/or the Wildland Zen Den - located on the same property. Please note - no parties and no loud music are allowed on any of the Wildland Wellness Lodge properties, and the space is not suitable for children under 8. ⏰ Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM (Firm)

We have a scheduled cleaning team and are unable to accommodate late check-outs. A $50 per hour fee will apply for departures after 11:00 AM to cover rescheduling costs.



👥 Approved Guests Only

All guests must be included in your reservation request and approved prior to arrival. No unapproved visitors or overnight guests are permitted. Security Cameras have been installed (outside only) for your safety and security.



🐾 Dog-Friendly (Up to 2 Dogs | $100 Fee)

We welcome well-behaved, potty-trained dogs.



Please note:

• Dogs must be friendly and well-socialized

• Dogs must be on leash outdoors at all times

• Dogs may not be left unattended at the property

• Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or accidents

• Please include your pet in your reservation so the pet fee is applied correctly



🌿 Smoking Policy

THC / 420 is permitted outdoors only, away from shared spaces, and must be extinguished safely due to wildfire risk.

No indoor smoking of any kind, including tobacco or cannabis. Additional cleaning fees will apply for smoke odors indoors.



🔥 Fire Safety

Our mountain community is highly fire-sensitive. Please fully extinguish all smoking materials and use fire features responsibly.

Mountain weather, snow, and occasional power shutoffs can occur without warning. If roads remain open, reservations remain non-refundable under our cancellation policy. Emergency lanterns and alternative heat sources are provided during outages.

Guest Access:

Guests of The Wildland Loft are welcome to enjoy all outside areas in FRONT of the loft space, including the private garden space reserved only for guests of The Loft. You will also have access to a private parking space in front of the garage.



Parking is limited to 1 car. Photos indicating your parking space will be sent to you prior to check-in. Please ONLY PARK in the space ASSIGNED to The LOFT to avoid inconveniencing other guests in the surrounding cabins on the property.



10-minute walk to coffee/tea and brunch/lunch.



20-30 minute walk to center of town.



3-minute drive to the main part of town.



5-10 minute drives to many hiking trails.



20-30 minute drive to water play: Lake Hemet or Hurkey Creek in one direction, and Lake Fulmor in the other.



The Neighborhood:

The Wildland Loft is walking distance from Mile High - one of the town's most popular restaurants for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner! Specializing in classic American breakfasts, and both American & Pan-Asian lunches/dinners - Mile High is a fantastic spot not to be missed! Live music most weekends, call or visit their IG for a schedule of music. ALSO - Alpaca Coffee and Tea is right next door to Mile High - such a treat to just walk 10 minutes to great coffee!



Getting Around:

You will need a car in Idyllwild - there is no Uber or Lyft here. We are 1.5 hours from Palm Springs Airport.



4WD or AWD highly recommended during winter months, but FWD vehicles can usually make it around just fine as long as you have chains in case it snows. Chains required for ALL vehicles during winter months in case of snow storms.
