Carlos has been an excellent host. We got locked out ( my fault) and he helped us get back in quickly. The house is adorable and we walked into town in minutes. Definitely an awesome find!! Thank you Carlos!

Perfect location...we walked to everything. Ample parking in the back. The house is in the historic district and has been updated yet kept much of the original feel. The only "issue" that we had was getting in with the pass code. We messaged the home owner and he answered immediately fixing the issue. Highly recommend

The key code provided was not correct so accessing the home was a little frustrating. But once we were in it is a beautiful little home and was perfect for our stay.

What a lovely house! So clean, surprisingly roomy, comfortable, with upscale furnishings, a wonderful kitchen & updated appliances. We truly appreciated that the property owner was easy to work with & agreeable to the fact that we were vacationing with our pets. We absolutely intend to stay at this VRBO, again, in the future. One of the best we have booked, anywhere. This stay was beyond five stars!!!

Access to the property was delayed because the key pad was badly worn and the method to input the code was somewhat confusing. The house was clean and complete with up to date conveniences.

Wedding Bells

We booked this property a year in advance to ensure that we had a place to stay with our two Chihuahuas. Our daughter got married that weekend and it was a big destination wedding.Carlos is a very responsive host and we are very grateful he allowed our chihuahuas. One of our chihuahuas was 14 and was on a lot of medication for heart issues and it turned out this was our little guy’s last trip as he passed away 3 months after our stay. He was very comfortable during his stay and there were plenty of places to walk both of them.It’s kind owners like this that make it less stressful to travel with pets.This house is cute, well maintained and typical of the charming houses in St Augustine. The master bath is new and nice. Kitchen has a lot, although we didn’t use much except maybe make coffee.Master bed was comfy, we didn’t use the other bath or bedroom.The location is right across from the beginning of everything. It’s easy to park and just leave your vehicle and walk everywhere. The road behind the house is a main thoroughfare but surprisingly it got quiet in the evening. Thank you Carlos!

Welcome to the Jungle

Out of all the many VRBO’s and AB&B’s we’ve stayed in over the years, we have never arrived on site of a property to what we seen here. It was very obvious the property had not been manicured in quite awhile. Tree branches were hanging so low that some were even touching the ground preventing us from pulling in with our cars in fear we would scratch the paint. The grass and landscape was so overgrown it looked like an abandoned house. I immediately reached out to the owner whose response time was not sufficient enough either. Thanks to a very nice neighbor who offered us a pole saw we were able to trim the branches ourselves to be able to park. The inside of the house was a pleasant surprise considering what the outside looked like. Very clean, comfortable and well stocked with everyday essentials.

Quaint Cottage in Historic St. Augustine

The house is in close proximity to historic St Augustine making walking convenient. The cottage was clean inside and well stocked with kitchen items. The porch and yard could have been a bit cleaner. Overall, a nice stay.

Near the Action

La Casita is located very near the historic district yet offers a quiet respite in the evening and early morning. My parents and I enjoyed our stay and were please to find off street parking for two vehicles. The house is in the style of a "shotgun shack" with what looks like three different buildings joined together. Please be mindful if traveling with elderly adults, as the floor in the middle of the house, that hosts the dining room and bathroom is very uneven in several places and not level with the newest addition of the home. This room is also dimly lit. We were thrilled with the wide, fully stocked, modern galley kitchen. Plus, the back bedroom has a large, modern restroom ensuite. Beds were comfortable.

Christmas lights in St Augustine Florida

We had a good stay with no problems. The VRBO was located very close to all the activity. The unit had two primary bedrooms each with a bathroom. The house was older but had been renovated nicely.

Night of Lights
