Take Five is a well appointed, comfortable Villa located in the tranquil development of Atlantic Rising. Precise location is the South East Coast of Barbados. The Villa is a stone throw away from the beautiful & stunning Bottom Bay Beach.
The development is a very peaceful setting with a mix of retired residents and a handful of holiday makers.

Take Five is a 3 bedroom & 2.5 bath Villa. With contemporary furnishings, modern appliances, tropical gardens surrounding ensures for a private and relaxing stay. The Villa is suitable for families, couples or a small groups of friends.

As you enter through the front door to the open concept lounge area, Take Five welcomes you with a view of the 30ft Pool and spacious covered patio. The patio/pool area includes a dining table with 6 chairs, sofa seating, sun/lounge chairs, powder room, outdoor shower and utility room.
The kitchen is well equipped with small and large appliances including a gas stove, dishwasher, and large fridge/freezer.
Every bedroom is equipped with air conditioning and a ceiling fan.
The master bedroom has a walk in closet, ensuite bathroom with a double basin vanity unit.
The other 2 bedrooms share an adequately sized bathroom.

Our on-site Manager (Jan) is very welcoming and on hand for any issues or advice at the Villa. Jan will meet and greet you at check in to show your around the Villa to ensure the most comfortable stay.

A full sized BBQ, Baby Cot & High Chair are available for a small local rental fee from the Property Manager. ( Please ask at time of booking).

A hired vehicle is strongly recommended for this beautiful, tranquil Parish of St Philip.



Whilst there is a lovely selection of restuarants within a 12 minute drive of thedevelopment, there is no night life in the immediate area.

There is a bus stop ( without a shelter) on the main road. However it is a good 15 minute walk up a rugged track with a slight incline this track is called Bottom Bay Road.

Also to note: no parties or gatherings or additional visitors who are not listed in the booking. This is a strict House rule.

Another great stay at Take Five

We were returning guests at Take Five and had another wonderful stay here. Everything was as we remembered from our stay in 2020, a comfortable, clean and homely house that was perfect for lazy days in by the pool or to come back to after a busy day at the beach or exploring the island. A car is a must when staying in this quieter part of Barbados but I’d highly recommend it and we would happily stay again.

Simply wonderful

Exactly as listed and what we were looking for. Nice quiet area. Pool was great to beat the heat! House has everything you need for a great stay, nice and clean. The extra pool towels were fantastic! Lots of floaties left from previous guests. The property manager exceeded expectations with amazing communication! Hope to return soon!

Beautiful Spot

We loved our stay at this property. Very nice outdoor area, very spacious and situated in a great area...we had a rental car. Jan, the Property Manager and Marcia, the Housekeeper were absolutely awesome. The outdoor area was very private and Bottom Bay Beach was very close.We would definitely return to this property and would give it a 10/10. A minor suggestion would be more comfortable cushions for the outdoor furniture.

Very Relaxing

We needed a relaxing getaway. We stayed 7 nights. The property is very beautiful, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and private pool. Very quiet neighborhood. Jan and Lorraine were quick to respond and very nice. We will definitely be back!

Lovely property, quiet area

We had a lovely stay at Take 5, the pool is a lovely bonus and the house is very clean and bug free! Very comfortable house to stay in for a family if you're happy to drive around the island on days out although lazy days at the house are also easy to do due to the lovely large pool and lots of sun in garden area during the day. Stock up on supplies at Emerald City and settle in!

Perfect stay in Barbados

The villa is great and everything what you need is inside the villa. A few things are a bit old but still ok. Highlight is definitely the large pool. The location was perfect for us. Next to the beautiful Bottom Bay and with a rental car you are able to drive within 30-45 minutes to Bridgetown. Lorraine and also Jan were super helpful and the communication was great. Thanks very much!!!

Great stay!

Just back from a beautiful 2 weeks in this great house in Barbados. House was just as advertised, the outside space was great, lovely and private and the covered veranda area with fans was my favourite! Bedrooms all had air conditioning which was fantastic and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a rental! As said a car is needed but no where is too far away on the island and then back to the quiet of the house for a peaceful stay. Bottom bay beach is literally at the end of the road. I would love to return to the house in the future.

Island paradise

Our trip was great. The weather was wonderful. The pool was really nice and clean. Lorraine did a great job communicating with me about property and she went above and beyond by doing a voice call and answering all my questions. Lorraine and Jan accommodated my family and I when our flight was cancelled by giving us freedom to stay another night without a 2nd thought. We are so appreciative and very pleased with our trip to Barbados and a lot of the reason was Lorraine and this wonderful Villa. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Take 5 Villa Bottom Bay Paradise

My wife and I will have spent 5 weeks in this fabulous Villa. Jan and Lorraine were always available for every concern ,mind you not many as the Villa was complete with all amenities. A vehicle is a prerequisite. The bedroom mattresses were perfect and the air at night was sufficient to keep the room comfortable.. One note is that the couch would require updating .All in all it was a great location

A Perfect Caribbean Getaway!

Our stay at Take Five Villa, in Barbados, was an absolute dream! This villa is a true sanctuary offering the perfect blend of luxury, comfort and Caribbean charm. Located in a tranquil part of Saint Philip, the villa offers a peaceful escape while still being conveniently close to the beautiful beach of Bottom Bay. If you plan to visit other areas around the island, then a hire vehicle is highly recommended. The outdoor space is a true highlight. The private pool, surrounded by lush greenery, provides a perfect spot for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The host (Lorraine) and the property manager (Jan) were extremely helpful and responsive, providing great recommendations and ensuring our stay was perfect. The location is ideal for those seeking peace and privacy, yet it is still close to some of the best attractions in Barbados. In conclusion, Take Five Villa is the perfect place for anyone seeking a relaxing, luxurious and memorable vacation in Barbados. We cannot wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable getaway. Thanks again to our host, Lorraine, and the property manager Jan along with her partner Levi.

Home Away from Home

This Villa was indeed a home away from home, it had all the amenities to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable from kitchen utensils to beach towels, we had everything we needed. The neighbourhood was very welcoming, safe and quiet, with an added bonus of a breathing taking view of bottom bay beach just about a 5 min walk away, and if you wanted to stay in, the pool was excellent. The only downside to this villa is that its about 15-20 mins drive east of the airport which means its about 30-35 mins away from the main attractions like liming spots & beautiful beaches and so renting a vehicle is recommended especially since the villa is about 10 mins walk to the nearest bus stop. But despite that my family and I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet as you can still enjoy the beautiful sand and sea in under an hour, ohhhh and our property manager Jan was amazing and very accomodating as we had a late flight we we're able to do a late checkout and if you we had any problems she was on hand to quickly assist with them, and Lorriane although we didn't get to meet personally, made our booking and check-in process an easy one and so they both added to making our trip an enjoyable one.

Once a man; twice a child.

I'm a native of babados who reside in the US. I came to have a wonderful 2 weeks stay with my 2 children 13 & 27. It was their bday gift to relax in the sunshine and enjoy nature and family. This is such a wonderful villa. It's a 2 min walking to bottom bay Beach and about a 7 mins drive to sharkhole Beach another attraction that should be seen.. these beaches have It's ruff days, but are beautiful more for surfing and taking pictures with great seennarie. The villa is a home away from home.. everything that you need for your everyday cook. Nothing short of that but the supplies you need for the entire stay was not met. It was mentioned to me that toiletries and dishwashing liquid is only for your arrival which were used.. After that you have to buy the nessisary things needed so if your stay is 2-3 weeks it will not be provided even towels were not are our reach. My biggest problem with the rude neighbor who kept calling on many days and eventually came into the yard one afternoon because the boys were in the pool playing at 2pm. I could understand if it was midnight and we were noisemakers all the time.. I was levid and almost lost it. Why should a neighbor have the number to call a vocation rental to HARASS your guest that's mind bowling to me. I mean the kids themselves are already in a depressive state of mine can't do normal activities and they had to be walking on eggshells because of this neighbor. The villas are close together, so just on a regular day I could hear the nice lady next door having a conversation. You're dinning on the patio for breakfast, lunch or dinner.. so from wherever she was In her home from that side we heard each other. That just goes to show you the space btw the villas. Everyone else was very nice beside this lady.. I just felt like I couldn't laugh or even talk because she would come peeping into the yard to see what was doing on.. For the most Jan and Lorraine are beautiful individuals and just doing a job. If you have teenagers or a loud voice which just generally penitrates this place is not for you. It's for retired or if you're in and out; or if they do something about the lady. Otherwise it's a beautiful home just need a little TLC and It's very spacious comfortable. In all honesty I will stay here again because I felt safe in this area and was still close to my family that still lives there on the island. Just my thoughts of this property..

Absolute tranquility

My hubby and I had an absolutely lovely time. Everything was the same as seen on the site and the property exceeded our expectations. We wanted to stay longer. We were very very impressed. It was the first totally relaxed holiday we spent together and we may be back sone time in the future.. Also special thanks to Lorraine and Jan for helping us have such an awesome experience.

Beautiful Escape

Lovely home in quiet area. You need a car to explore East side of island. We spent 1 week on West side, very busy and walkable tourist area. 2nd week was at Bottom Bay. Beautiful and rough surf on East side but great to explore and relax. Late afternoon and evenings at the house were wonderful. Enjoyed the pool. Thanks Lorraine

Comfortable home away from home

We came here for a working visit in winter (lucky as we are), and therefore enjoyed the spacious living (and for us, working) area a lot. The big pool in the back yard helped us to cool down body and mind every now and then... The bed rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the ACs are surely strong enough to deal with the tropical conditions. The kitchen was equipped with all the things needed. Maybe a mid-size pot (around 2.5-3 liters) would make a nice addition. The fridge with the integrated ice maker was an unexpected highlight, particularly when we got back from our work, well-heated. Those who want to have a quiet holiday will enjoy the location away from the busy south coast of Barbados. Atlantic Rising is a generally quiet community. During night, only frogs are heard around, and waves breaking on the nearby coast during stronger winds. During our stay, the only drawback were some extensive and unfortunately noisy gardening activities of the neighbours around. While you need a car to live here, you can also easily (for Barbados conditions) reach the nature highlights and sights in the north and east without a need to deal with the traffic jams of Bridgetown. The local manager Jan met us during check-in and did a great introduction to the house. She is leaving nearby, so she can be contacted anytime quickly, but we didn't need to, as everything worked fine. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, so many thanks to Jan and Lorraine!

My stay at whistling frog

We really enjoyed our stay at whistling frog the housekeeper Lorraine was very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble for her the view from the living room was beautiful seeing the seafront it is a lovely place to come and relax you have the bottom bay beach just a few minutes walk but you do need a car to get around as a shop Style quite away from the villa

A great experience

Experience was great. Property Manager was always available. Villa was noticeably clean and tidy. My wife and I really wanted to extend our stay,but sadly the dates weren't available...Will definitely return in the near future.
