Bayfront Resort at Cross View is a luxury RV resort with waterfront cottages right on Sandusky Bay. Being right on the bay, vacationers to Bayfront Resort will enjoy a panoramic view of the water along with close proximity to Cedar Point, Sports Force Park, downtown Sandusky, with a variety of shopping, entertainment, and dining options. The Sandusky area sits right on the water and has a variety of wineries, museums, and beaches to enjoy. It is also a short trip on the Jet Express or Miller’s Ferry to Put in Bay or Kellys Island. The cottage is fully furnished with a master bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, laundry and loft. (ID Required. Min. age is 25 to book.)

Amazing place! Really clean and tidy. Everything you need from a home away from home! Felt really secure and was very comfortable. The only negative is that it could use some coat hooks as that was the only thing missing! We’ll be back the next time we go to cedar point!

Overall the cottage was great- everything was new and updated and it was very true to the listing. The resort pool was great for the kids and the staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient location to Cedar point and easy check in/check out The only thing I would recommend would be to have a couple more items stocked in kitchen (oven mitt, aluminum foil, wine opener, sponge etc) Other than that was a great stay!

Neat Lodging with Great Location

The tiny home was a fun and different place to stay with my family. The home was furnished beautifully and had plenty of space. They outdoor area and pool were great. Location was perfect: about a 5 minute drive to Cedar Point and even closer to down town. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Sandusky.

Just What We Were Looking For!

Wonderful location, wonderful views (loved looking over at Cedar Point!), perfect tiny cottage!! Our main objective was to go to Cedar Point. There were 4 of us staying. Everyone was so excited when we arrived. The cottage has such a GREAT location! 6 minutes to CP and then coming back to such an inviting, cooled home with spectacular nighttime views - after a busy hot day, was just what we were looking for! Thank you for sharing!

Next to water for people who have jet skis, canoes, and the like. The cabin was essentially a tiny house and had a comfy feel. Properties were close to each other, so some noise from neighbors to be expected. The inside was exactly as pictured to the left. Place was very clean. The upstairs loft requires you to get on your knees and the steps o the stairs to the loft are fairly short so please use the hand rail. Overall would stay again.

Tiny house on the bay

We had two tiny houses side-by-side. One for the grandparents and one for mom and dad dad and two kids. It was the perfect set up and the perfect amount of room. Very clean and nice

This property exceeded all our expectations. The views were spectacular and the comfort and space for 3 couples and a small dog were perfect. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Personally, I wouldn’t bother going down to the beach as the walk down was very treacherous and steep - I would drive 5 mins and enjoy Sargent Bay instead. The house is conveniently located closed to so many great hikes and beaches as well as shopping. We requested an early access and Heathers graciously obliged - Thank you!The caretaker on site was lovely. We only met her upon arrival but knew we could contact her if any issues arose. We can’t wait to book this home again in the future!

Cute tiny home

Our family had so much fun at this location for the 2024 Eclipse. Sandusky had much to offer and the place right on the water was filled with nature. The clubhouse was clean and a great place to hang out. My children said the community bathrooms were the nicest they'd ever seen! Everyone was so friendly and kind. We'd definitely return to this place if in the area.

The best option

Our party had three adult men visiting Cedar Point. Our first plan was to get an economy hotel near the park, but that would have required two rooms. The value just wasn't there. I am so glad we found comfy cottage on VRBO. The queen size bed in the loft, the private bedroom, and the bunk beds provided enough separation for each of us to have our own space. The location was as good as any hotel outside the park. This option not only saved us money, It provided a much nicer environment for the three of us to enjoy our visit.The cottage is very nicely equipped. It had everything we needed for meals. It even had coffee and detergent to use the washer and dryer.The location is secured by a gate and we felt very safe sitting on the porch late into the evening. Staying at comfy cottage made this visit with friends better and I'm so glad we found it.
A few of the cottage. The Three stacked windows on the left side provide ventilation for the two bunk beds and the loft.
Comfy cottage is located in what feels like a campsite. There are other cottages and space for RVs.
We had a lovely view of Cedar Point from our porch.
This will give you an idea of the layout. The guy on the left is about 6 ft tall he stayed in the loft.

Very clean and cozy little cottage. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The bathroom had everything we needed as well. I had my husband, daughter and twin sons with me and it was perfect. Way better than a hotel. And it's in a very nice gated area. We would definitely stay here again!

Bayfront is unique. This is a tiny house set right on the Sandusky Bay. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch overlooking the water. Never miss a sun rise or sun set!

The tiny house experience is different from a cabin or a house. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to live in a tiny house, this is your chance. You have all the amenities of home. Yes, it may be smaller than a house, but it doesn't "feel" small. It's actually spacious and open! You only need to bring food items, your clothes and any special toiletries you prefer. We provide all linens, towels, etc. You will enjoy two queen beds, two bunk beds, full kitchen, full bathroom and living room area with a fireplace. There are two smart TVs as well.

The surrounding area has so much to offer. Downtown Sandusky has many bars and restaurants. Park and walk to explore. Take a walk on the Jackson Street Pier. Stop at Barra to enjoy a fantastic taco selection and a margarita. Take a ferry to Put-in-Bay and explore all the shops and restaurants on the island. Cedar Point is right around the corner. Raining? Go to Kalahari for the day and play. Want to stay and relax at Bayfront? Grab your pool towels and enjoy our heated pool.

Need to shop or want to create a special meal? Route 250 has all your familiar stores and shopping and it's only 5 minutes away. Want to visit old homes or see Sandusky history? Take a drive down Wayne St. or Columbus Ave. Love Nature? Visit Erie Metro parks and experience the beauty of our local parks. Want to ride a jet ski or take a charter and fish? We have references for those activities too. You can certainly bring your fishing pole and fish off our break wall as well. (just make sure you have your fishing license.)
