Late summer vacay

We enjoyed this property, the location was excellent, the Blue Dunes Grill offered delicious food and drink options around the pool. The beach chair set up was very friendly and efficient. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

Great resort and room!

This is our second stay at The Tides at Tops’l resort and it was one our best stays yet. The room is perfect with two young kids with being close to the pool and beach. The view of the ocean is good for how low the room is. Very nice amenities and a new flat screen tv was perfect for the March madness games. We will be reserving this room again!

Had a giant rat - on our balcony last night 7-4 Disgusting !!! The rule of no umbrellas up by the shore line - ridiculous !! No vacuum in the condo - hard to keep the floors clean while staying there

Loved it!

We’ve visited Miramar Beach every summer for the last 4 yrs and absolutely love staying at the Tides. Property was clean and neat, no issues at all. We loved being on the 2nd floor as the stairs were right by the condo so we didn’t have to wait for the elevator every time.

Perfect Location & Family Friendly Unit

The condo was as described. Clean, stocked, also had extra beach chairs, sand toys, and boogie board. The unit is next to the stairs which was a definite plus for us / no longer elevator waits. Also, you can see the pool from the balcony so if our kids wanted to run down in the morning, we could keep an eye on them while enjoying coffee on the patio. Which, by the way, the patio is huge and again a big bonus for a large family since we all sat out at night and read. Check in and check out very easy. We had no issues while we were there. Will be coming back !!

Perfect location and amenities

This was one of our best stays yet. We got to the condo around 3:45 pm. You can not check in until 4:00 pm. We tried to open the door with the combo they gave us at 4 and it didn’t work. Waited until 4:06, still couldn’t get in. One more try at 4:10….I called and they were able to reset the lock with the same number. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths…..1st bedroom is to the right when you walk in. King size bed with TV, dressers, nightstands and closet. In the closet there was a beach chair, beach shovels and buckets as well as a boogie board to use! Across the hall from the bedroom is the bathroom. Separate toilet/shower from the sink. Hallway had a stackable washer dryer combo which came in very handy. Kitchen had a huge refrigerator, toaster, blender, coffee maker (you can make a pot of coffee or a Keurig cup of coffee). Pots, pans, plates, cups all provided and plenty. However the coffee cups are small so if you like a bigger cup of coffee, I would bring your own coffee mug. The pantry door is locked so, you do not have any storage for food, etc. Had to put everything on the dining room table Living room and dining room spacious with TV. Couch folds out to a bed, though we didn’t use it. Master bedroom had a king size bed, TV and a HUGE bathroom. Separate shower from the tub and sinks. Also another closet is in the bathroom. The deck is amazing. You can access it from the living room or the master bedroom. Excellent view of the pool and beach. Best part was, the condo is on 2nd floor and the stairwell was right outside the door. It made it sooooo easy to go to the pool and beach. Also, the trash chute is next door too The beach was beautiful. If you have a canopy, you have to set it up behind the beach chairs that you rent. They have 2 pools. The bottom pool is for everyone. It’s a bit smaller. The top pool is bigger and for owners and guests. I was given the combo for the gate to get into the pool for owners, but it didn’t work. Quick email and it was reset for us. Fabulous condo and we are definitely renting this unit again.

Condo was very dirty, Mode and mildew in the showers. The property inspector came and looked at condo and agreed it was nasty.

Great Spring Break

We have stayed at TOPS'L many times and it never disappoints. This location is the perfect distance between Destin and 30A allowing you to experience both. The unit was clean and had a great view of both the pool and the beach. Even though it appears you are behind the Beach Manor, it does not interfere with the view. The second floor location is near a walk way up and the stairwell so you never really have to wait for the elevator. Also, if you are travelling with children that can swim alone but you are still wanting to keep an eye on, this location is great as you can sit on the balcony and see the pools easily. Overall a good unit on a great property!

A Construction Site

The management company told us that the balcony would be painted and we would not have access to it for 5 days. That would have been fine but …. Instead it was a construction site with jack hammers, air compressors and concrete sanders, etc.. For two days our door was blocked and we had to wait until the workers allowed us out! The only good thing to say is that we got our money back, for the 2 weeks we stayed at the unit, minus fees and cleaning charge.

Tides 201

Great view of pool and beach. Friendly staff at pool. Unit 201 needs the floors cleaned better, and under beds and rugs not swept at all from previous guests. Was told we would get a notification when we could check in, got there about 1 hour before check in, (1pm)...code didn’t work but no big deal since we were early. Waited and went to eat, still no text or new code, so we went back and tried code again, this time it worked. By now, our kids were fussy and we were all tired and hot. Would be nice to have the check in process work like it was supposed to, but overall the resort and place was great!

Last vaca of the summer

This was our last little vacation of the summer and it was terrific. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The bedding was perfect. Everything was great. The weather too!
