Our group enjoyed a long weekend at this large, updated house. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nicely finished. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us with two living spaces. The grounds were wide open and it was beautiful to watch the sunset or walk near the pond. Our host communicated well and answered questions promptly. It was about a 45 minute drive through some very pretty countryside to get to Mammoth Cave National Park. If the water levels are high enough, the Green River Ferry is a short 10 minute drive. We would stay here again if we are in the area!

Would be nice to have a shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the showers. Also, the fishing poles and lures need upgraded to something functional. Thanks, we enjoyed our stay.

“Thank you for your feedback—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your suggestions. We’re always looking for ways to improve the guest experience, and we’ll certainly take your thoughts about bathroom amenities into consideration. We did want to clarify that fishing poles and lures are not listed as provided amenities. Occasionally, previous guests leave items behind for others to enjoy, but we aren’t able to guarantee their condition or availability. Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope to host you again in the future!”

The house was very well maintained and clean. It had about everything you could want, and the hot tub and pond were great additions. Communication with the owners was excellent and we were even allowed to check in a bit early as we arrived earlier than expected. Truly a wonderful retreat!

A gorgeous property in a great location! This property is extremely well-kept and comfortable. Our family of 4 (kids aged 8 & 11) enjoyed everything about it - fishing, hot tub, making s’mores around the fire pit, relaxing on the porch, playing outside. With the ferry back up and running, we could go in and out of the park with ease to hike and do cave tours. We actually didn’t know the ferry was an option when we booked, so that was an awesome perk! We found the kitchen to be well-stocked for our cooking needs and everything worked perfectly. The hosts were easy to contact and very responsive. If we get back down to this area, we will absolutely book this house again!
