Our Men’s Ministry has stayed for the past 2 years near Nolin Lake & golfing-we will be planning for 3rd year. Carrie is quick to respond with any questions about the VRBO.

Great quiet getaway for large parties

We had a large family gathering from young kids to older adults. There is plenty of space with four typical bedrooms, plus basement bedrooms that each have one full size bunk bed and one twin size bunk bed. There are two large living areas which is nice for big groups as it does not feel overcrowded. Kitchen was stocked with all necessities to cook your own meals. I’d certainly recommend this place.

Beautiful, comfortable and clean

Lovely, spacious home with a beautiful view off two large covered porches. Well laid out with bedrooms on all 3 levels. Off the beaten path but easy to navigate. Kitchen and baths are stocked but not overstocked so bring extra plates, towels, casserole dishes or roasters if your group is at max capacity.Our group would not hesitate to rent this space again. Communication was effortless with the owner and entry into home was straightforward. Great choice for anyone visiting this area of Kentucky.

Guys weekend

The house was fantastic and new. The floor plan was perfect except a bathroom in the basement would’ve helped. The views…pictures don’t do it justice. Having the choice of a gas and charcoal grill was nice. Getting to the house is a hike so I would try to remember everything you need as nothing is very close. Sleeping 12 guys comfortably is hard to find and this place answered the call and more. Recommend

Beautiful view and great house!!!

We came for a homeschool field trip group. Plenty of room. Quiet area and very secluded. Gravel dirt road to and from house. If you are a light sleeper I would bring fans. The view was stunning!!! You can hear cows and roosters! Watch the sun come up on the balcony, watch the dog disappear over the lake. The drive to mammoth was easy(definitely follow the directions left at the house and not your gps. Lol). My kids loved the house, the bunk rooms are in the basement with the game tables. Plenty of bathrooms. Plenty of seating. Fire ring was an added bonus. There is a dollar general market about 15 mins from the house for all of your household needs. And Carrie the owner is fantastic and super easy to work with! We will definitely be back for another trip to hit the tours we missed!

We had a great time but the property needs a little work. Some parts of the home need to be maintained. There were a ton of bugs within the house. The guest bathroom shower leaked through the ceiling to the basement. The master bathroom door fell off the runner and the glass shower door fell into the shower. Some of the sinks were clogged and the water would not drain. The pedestrian door to the garage needs to have a lock put on it for safety. For what we paid to stay for the weekend I expected the home to be in working order. This isn’t a message to detour people from staying but those things need to be addressed or drop the listing rental price.

We appreciate you booking with us and for taking the time to review. Unfortunately, the only one of these issues that was brought to my attention during your stay was the shower leak. We sent the plumber who didn’t find anything leaking. Our property manager found the remaining issues, the shower door off it’s rail and clogged sinks, after your stay. I do wish you had let me know if these things were occurring upon arrival as I would have sent someone out. Thanks again for booking with us!
