Our Comfy Coastal Home

This is our coastal home, that we share, to help cover expenses. We are here at least one week a month. We allow pets because we have a small dog. PLEASE CHECK THE BOX FOR PETS IF YOU ARE BRINGING THEM ALONG. The back yard is fenced.

Shallotte, NC, is a great little town with every big box store and fast food restaurant you could possibly need nearby. There are also some great local businesses and restaurants. Ocean Isle is the closest beach and it is an easy seven miles away. Holden Beach and Sunset Beach are slightly farther. If you are a boater, the ICW us even closer. If you like fishing or kayaking on the calmer, inland waterways, you are close to many launches.

This home is in a quiet subdivision, where respect was given to trees and open space when developed. No golf course here, but there are many nearby. The back yard is peaceful, private and close to nature, with a pond visible from the comfortable, screened back porch. The back yard is fully fenced with solid white vinyl on three sides and aluminum (see-through) fence along the back.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and utensils, and the pantry and frig items are available to guests, within reason. The downstairs master bedroom and bath are off limits, but there are three nice bedrooms upstairs, with two full baths. There is a half bath downstairs.

There are smart TVs in all rooms, and two smart TVs downstairs with local station access. The king bedroom, on the sunrise side of the house, has blinds and blackout curtains. All beds have luxury hotel mattresses. Laundry room and utility sink available too.

The cleaning fee is based on full occupancy (all three bedrooms occupied.) The fee can be adjusted based on the number of rooms used. This would be done as a refund once the cleaning service verifies the bedrooms used.

Beach supplies are in the shed out back. The back yard is fenced, but I would certainly not leave a dog out there unattended. PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU BRINGING A PET. It would also be nice to know the breed, size and age.

Please be sure to read and agree to house rules. Motorhomes and boat trailers are not allowed by HOA. Do not block the sidewalk. There is space in the garage for a car or small boat trailer.
