A place in paradise

We had an awesome time there. The house was very clean and provided everything we needed for our vacation. The communication was top notch, very friendly and helpful. We loved our vacation there and can recommend it for everybody who want a little place in paradise :)

Comfortable & Convenient

Nice home. Good and patio & pool and lakeview. 5-10 minutes to Manasota Beach. Middle class neighborhood. Kids really liked the pool, parents like the safety fence. Convenient to grocery and other stores. Nice variety of family restaurants.

Relaxing home away from home

Angie and Gary, the property managers, were very responsive to our questions, both before and during our rental time. The pool was absolutely wonderful with the covered lanai and outdoor dining area. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and peaceful. Although the house is well stocked with all essentials, more garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels should be stocked. Fabulous vacation spot in Venice except for the heavy rain and winds and little biting bugs.

Wonderful get away

My family and I had a wonderful week at Angie's rental. The property was very clean, amazing views out the lanai, and comfy home. Due to Red Tide, we had to drive down to Sanibel and Fort Myers beaches. That didn't ruin our time in Venice or in the home. The home has everything and more you need. The pool was incredible. The kids enjoyed the open layout. I would definitely book with Angie again! Already looking at Summer 2022

Wonderful Lake View Villa

The Villa is in a perfect location, 5 minutes to shops and restaurants. 3 beaches within a 10-to-15-minute drive. Venice Avenue with shops and more restaurants 15 minutes. The Villa has a lovely pool area and view across a large lake where you can watch the sunset. Lots of wildlife around, birds, squirrels, turtles and an alligator. The villa itself is more basic inside than some of the more posh and plush rental Villas, but it has everything you need and is clean and tidy. There is only one TV, no idea if it works, we never switched it on or sat on the sofa, as we were always outside enjoying the weather and views.

Spent a week in this very lovely comfortable home. Love the funky art scattered all over place. Lanai was enjoyable with the pool. Lake was lovely and attracted lots of bird life. Centrally located to many places. Enjoyed dinner at The Livingroom Rrom and Cedar Reef, two local restaurants. Visited the surrounding beaches but after taking the ferry two minutes to the private beach, why go anywhere else? Loved the beach, had lots of shells and sharks teeth and never crowded! Took a bike ride too. Beds were not the greatest for me, but that's because I need a king size bed, that's just me. Had a great week.

Venice Rental

We had a great time here. The house was just as pictured, esp the pool & huge lanai area. It was so beautiful. We really enjoyed being out in the lanai early mornings & late evenings after a day of exploring. The host was wonderful too! She was very quick to respond. We did end up seeing the gator sun bathing in the grass by the water which was awesome. We also saw a snake in the water, birds & tons of geckos. The kiddo really loved it as much as my husband & I did. The whole neighborhood was very quiet as well & was really peaceful in the evenings. We went to Casperson 4xs during our stay & found plenty of shark teeth & sharkys for lunch etc. Very convenient being super close to all of that. We def would stay again. Thanks for renting to us.

Good Location, Nice stay

We had a great week in Venice, and found this rental house to be a solid value. This house is located in a nice, safe, quiet neighborhood, about 5 minutes from the beach. The grounds are very well kept. The back screened in porch is larger than it appears in the photos, and there is a great view of the lake from the pool. We swam everyday. Unfortunately, we did not get to take the ferry to the private beach (which is included with this rental), because it was "in the shop for repairs" on the days we tried to go. This rental is good for those looking to stay on the quieter side of the gulf, away from the hustle and noise of Tampa and Sarasota. The owner was great with communication, and is available if necessary. TV lovers take note: there are no TV's in any of the bed rooms, only in the living room. However, we were aware of this in advance and brought ours with us. Also worth noting that the internet was excellent.

Entspannter Urlaub in guter Lage

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Venice und insbesondere in unserer Ferienwohnung, denn nicht nur, war die Kommunikation unkompliziert, die Wohnung perfekt vorbereitet, als wir eintrafen, auch konnten wir nach einer Woche Rundreise entspannen, uns selbst was Kochen und Waschen, sowie die wunderbare Umgebung genießen. Besonders hat uns die morgendliche Tierbeobachtung am See von der Terrasse aus gefallen. Unglaublich, was da so alles kreucht und fleucht. Viele verschiedene Wasservögel, Schildkröten und auch ein Alligator war einige Male am See zu sehen. Alle wichtigen Geschäfte sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto oder auch mit dem Rad zu erreichen. Die Küche ist umfassend ausgestattet, der geschützte Pool gut für eine kleine Abkühlung. Aber natürlich kommt man mit dem Auto auch schnell zu schönen Stränden oder Restaurants. Der Hinweis mit den Delphinen am Jetty hat uns übrigens zum Abschluss ein paar herrliche Sonnenuntergangsbilder beschert.

Beautiful

Love the house and it was set up with everything you needed. The pool was amazing and clean. The view of the lake was breathtaking to look at. All and all the stay was everything we hoped it would be. The Rental manager Angie was very nice and helpful. I would recommend this house for your vacation spot.

Beautiful property, Perfect Vacation

I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Venice. It really isn't suitable for anyone noisy or for people who have loud parties as the neighborhood is very quiet and tranquil. The landscaping is gorgeous and tropical and the pool and lanai are spectacular areas for bird watching. We had everything we needed in this rental. The bed was very comfortable and the entire home was immaculately clean. We usually stay in Sarasota, but decided to try Venice this time since we wanted a more low-key vacation, due to Covid. It was a great decision and we will go back next year if we can. It is close to Boca Grande, which was a fun day trip, and close to Sarasota for great restaurants and beaches. The ferry to the private beach in South Venice was a fun, short trip and the beach was uncrowded. I enjoyed the art displayed in the home and thought it added a personal touch that is usually lacking in many vacation rentals. It was so much better than expected and a true five star experience! Thanks for hosting us!

Nice place for family vacation

We have stayed here various times and love the pool and lake view. I always give this property a great review. Only comment I would make is lack of umbrella for beach this time, especially needed in August. Would recommend for a family, we have two college age children and always enjoy are stay here!

Great place to stay!

We had a great time. The property is a great size, clean, and ready for fun. The pool was wonderful, as well as the seating area outside. The view of the lake was beautiful and access to the beach using the ferry was a definite bonus. Highly recommend and we expect to stay there again.

Absolutely gorgeous!

Everything about this property was gorgeous. The furniture and artwork inside the house was amazing and not too personalized. However, the house still felt like home. If you stay here, you will have everything you need to cook a great meal for your friends and/or family. In the pool is a lot of fun. However, the most spectacular part of this property, is watching the sunsets. If I could upload the photographs I took of the gorgeous sunsets on the lake, you would understand what I'm talking about. This is definitely a must-stay property!

Awesome house and location!

We loved the house! My friend and I came here for a ladies only birthday celebration and we could not get over the quietness and peaceful area. Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the back screen porch bird and gator watching. It was so relaxing. The pool was awesome to cool off in. The ferry to the private island was definitely our favorite part. We went every day shell and shark tooth hunting. I would just say before you leave to go to the ferry read ALL the rules regarding the ferry and ferry landing we watched several people pack up and leave or argue with them regarding the rules. But the island is peaceful and just a great place to hang out at daily. The house is in such a great location we were quickly able to get to a restaurant or Walmart or the beach within minutes. Would definitely recommend and visit again. The house also comes stocked with everhing you need for the beach with sand toys, shark tooth hunting items, and beach chairs.

So beautiful!

The view was incredible. I did not want to leave. The landscaping was beautiful and the fragrance of the flowers in the air was an unexpected bonus! Loved the ferry to the beach! Clean. Spacious. I intend to rent again!

Venice Florida is a prime location for a vacation destination. I have been living here part-time for 16 years and enjoy living the Florida experience; complete with beautiful sandy beaches, palm trees, wildlife on the lake, and flowering foliage year round. Not to mention historical downtown Venice with its many shops and wonderful restaurants in the area.
