Perdido Key is the perfect quiet and family-friendly beach town. It offers wildlife viewing at the beautiful Johnson Beach National Seashore state park, as well as multiple hiking trails and historic landmarks. There are so many adventures to choose from such as; fishing charters to take you to the best spots only locals know about, and don't forget to try one of the Dolphin cruises to experience the open water in a way you will most certainly never forget. There's also Lost Key Golf Club, a public 18-hole golf course. Let's not forget the local flavors to be enjoyed at the many restaurants serving our fresh caught seafood.

Clean rooms overall, well stocked with dishes, silverware, excellent views and easy parking. A few issues that were present in our stay: The front door code provided to enter the building was 6 digits long and the correct code ended up being 5 digits long. Random folks let us in a few times before we got the right code. The room door code worked fine. After the first night we let them know the mattresses were worn out and they apologized, saying "we don't have any toppers available." We didn't say the topper was worn out...the mattress was. After the second night we had to move to a different room because we had burned too much vacation time feeling terrible already. We went to 1901 which had 4 beds to choose from and overall was much better on the bed situation.

Loved the view and overall the condo was nice but the mattresses were really bad. I expected the sofa sleeper to be so so but all mattresses were so worn out. Nine of us slept well. There was mold on the window in 2nd bedroom and pillow in closet which we did need to use also moldy and should be thrown out. We didn’t use after 2nd night due to coughing and worried that might be from the mold.

Palacio is great, but this unit needs some work

The Palacio grounds & pool were very nice. However, we would not stay in this unit again. The twin beds are not safe. They are on wheels & they roll very easily. Scraps & deep mark into the wall from beds being banged into the wall. Mattresses may be ok for kids, but not adults. Curtains were falling off the rod & dirty. The dishwasher was unscrewed from the cabinet and almost fell over on us. Front door code didn't always work. Reporter bed issue to management, but owner didn't do anything. Could definitely need some work.

Avoid

I cannot summarize given the length that would be needed. This property and especially our room 1702 was not worth even half what we paid. This room has been seriously neglected for too many years that the list would be to long for this review. Even the facility was lacking cleanliness. One of the elevators stopped working while my wife and I were in it and being on 17th floor was not good. definitely would stay somewhere else next time.

Very nice location but ceiling had a leak

The condo is beautiful and the location was perfect. My only complaint is that there was a water leak from the ceiling right above the living room couch which was also being used as a bed at night time. Although someone came by multiple times trying to troubleshoot the leak. The leak was thwre every day of our stay which was a huge inconvenience. We didn't even get a partial refund for the inconvenience.

Wonderful place all around!

The view is nothing short of spectacular! The condo is beautiful and clean. The location is perfect. We had dishwasher issues, but we had a new dishwasher the next morning.

Early may

Just goes to prove that you can’t trust the weather forecast. Projected for 5 days of rain (already booked) and we got 4.5 great days of sun. Next time I will get a sun ninja and 2 beach chairs instead of the beach service…which was easy, convenient but a bit pricey for the whole stay. Overall, great.

Great stay. Great view.

The view was incredible and the place was beautiful. There were a couple minor cosmetic flaws but other than that the place was perfect. I’d stay here again!
