Welcome to Sea Born @ Chases Ocean Grove. This private beachside cottage community is centrally located on Old Wharf Road in Dennisport. Your family will be steps from the beach, minutes from great ice cream, restaurants, mini-golf and more. We are located just down the street from the Pelham House Resort.

Quick Cape Cod Trip

The beach cottage was perfect for our family of four getaway to Cape Cod. We love the proximity to the beach and the little cottage community. It was nice that the beach was private and not crowded.

Cottage Stay

This darling little cottage was very cosy. It is right across the street from the beach access. Location in Dennis port is mid Cape and creates easy access to the whole area.

Wonderful location!We loved being within walking distance to both private and public beaches. The cottage was thoughtfully designed to maximize the use of its small space, making it feel cozy yet functional. The outdoor shower was a great touch after long beach days, and we really appreciated the beach supplies provided—chairs, a kite, sand toys, and an umbrella. It was also just a short drive to local activities and restaurants, which made exploring the area easy and convenient.

Property was as described. Cute cottage and had everything we needed. Listing did state that we needed to provide sheets and towels, but those were available so that was nice. Would be happy to stay here again.

Great stay

We stayed at this lovely cottage for a wedding at the Pelham House resort, which is very close. Great food in walking easy driving distance. The beach was perfect for my 2.5 y/o daughter.

Perfect location for our 40th anniversary celebration. Walking in the beachfront community was great for our step count. The one suggestion I would make is to make simple upgrades to the outside of the property for additional relaxation away from the ocean. The unit is small yet comfortable and dealing with the owner with the question or 2 we had was very pleasant and she always responded quickly.

Good stay with the family

Great beach cottage. Comes with everything you’d need and a 3 minute walk to the beach. Owner is very responsive. Only thing is the mattress in the full bed should be replaced as it sags a little and the springs make noise, but I would recommend to anyone.

Darling Cottage

Elizabeth cottage was so sweet, clean, and wonderful easy access to the beach. Very sweet cottage community. Great local restaurants and beautiful private beach.

Good family vacation

I stayed here with my wife and two young kids (6,4) and we had a wonderful time. The space was great and the house was a perfect size for us. It was just a short walk over to the beach and the area has plenty of restaurants and things to do as a family within a quick drive. Overall a great experience.

Perfect for family of 3 getaway

Everything matched the listing perfectly! Great spot across the street from the beach. No issues at all getting a spot there. We didn't need anything at all from Elizabeth as everything we needed was there! Near restaurants and walking distance to ice cream! Would stay here again.

Cute cottage

My husband and I have never stayed in a “cottage” before. It is your quintessential Cape Cod cottage. Bathroom and bedrooms were small…but then again…it’s a cottage. So we had to get used to being in close quarters together haha. The proximity to the beach was great. The host was easy to communicate with.

Improvements

Was a cute little cottage and very clean. Only improvement I would suggest is the cottage door needs to be fixed it was very difficult to open and the second bedroom needs blinds on the second window.

The mid-cape cottage you want

First timers to cape cod, so we’re learning as we go. Not sure why the cottage address wasn’t where Google maps thought it should be, but once we found it we were pleasantly surprised with the easy access and ample parking compared to the other cottages nearby. I’d recommend packing light as our large bags were in the way of moving about the living space. With our kids being young adults now we’ll want a bit more space next time. It was Clean, quaint, as described, & I appreciated the lightning fast communication with the owner. Highly recommend for a couple or young family.

Perfect Location

We very much enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth's cottage! First of all, Elizabeth was a wonderful host and available for questions during our stay. Being a stone's throw away from a gorgeous beach was such a privilege and made going to the beach as easy as it gets. The cottage itself was small, but cozy. My only suggestions to improve upon the stay would be to maybe maximize space as much as possible by decluttering a bit. And while the main bed was very comfortable with the softest sheets, the twin beds could use just an egg carton mattress pad as they were rather firm. Overall, the cottage had great personality and was situated in a really lovely community! And it's location on the cape made it a great home base from which we could strike out on our various adventures! Definitely recommend to a couple or small family!

It was good- Overall.

My sister and I took my 86 year old mother for a summer getaway along with my 1.5 year old granddaughter. All was as listed. I would suggest the following:- bring paper plates/products if you do not want to wash dishes-No oven, so plan for that.-Your parking spot in front of cottage is not marked, so you will lose your spot when you leave. Just call owner for assistance. We just parked farther away from cottage which wasn't ideal.-Leaving day for us was stressful due to parking situation and loading up car was hard, so I forgot to leave cottage keys. Tip: Make sure you are parked in front of cottage on leaving day to make it easier for you since this cottage is on a busy road.-Locking the front door was very tricky for us. -Beach near cottage is walking distance and we liked that ease of access.-GPS will take you somewhere else, just note the cottage is on the main street, not inside the "cottage village"-No ice machine, and the ice trays are not filled,so fill when you get there to have ice during stay.

As noted in the VRBO listing, our cottage is equipped with a cooktop and microwave, but does not have an oven. We also provide a welcome video on YouTube, which includes step-by-step instructions on how to operate the door and lockbox, and shows clearly marked parking locations, as referenced both in the video and on-site signage. Prior to your arrival, the ice trays were filled personally to ensure everything was ready for your stay. When you reached out about difficulty with the door, we responded immediately. We also offered in-person assistance, which was declined. It’s very important for all guests to follow our checkout procedures, including leaving the keys inside the cottage and ensuring all windows are closed. Unfortunately, in this case, the keys were not returned, and we had to make urgent arrangements to have replacements made in time for the next guests. I’m truly sorry if there was any confusion during your stay. We’re always happy to assist if contacted during your visit, and communication is key in helping us address any concerns in real-time. Chases Ocean Grove is a warm family friendly community. The expansive beach is kept pristine. It is awesome to run or walk in the morning and see the sun rise over the beautiful ocean. So peaceful. Chases is a great place to renew your spirit.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Sea Born is a charming New England cottage. We lovingly restored our 384 sqaure foot cottage and gave it some modern day conveniences. We love the location. We love sitting at our pub table and enjoying the view of the ocean. We have the best of both worlds. We have close proximity to the private beach and at the same time great parking for our vehicles.
