Charming waterfront Mascoma Lake cottage with private beach and dock. ☀️
Enjoy lake life on 80' of private, sandy beach at the south end of Mascoma Lake. This original 1920's Shaker Boulevard cottage boasts loads of vintage charm and pristine sunset views. There is something for everyone at the lake: Plenty of sand toys and floats, rockers on the porch, cozy reading nooks, a dock for your boat, board games for rainy moments, and a fire pit to gather around in the evenings. We can't wait to share our favorite place with you.
Enter through the screened-in half of the wraparound porch, which also serves as a secondary dining/living space and a shady escape.
The sunny vintage kitchen is fully stocked with character and cooking essentials. A convenient half bath is snuggled under the stairway.
The first floor living/dining area includes a couple comfy couches, a dining table that seats eight, an additional breakfast nook, and overlooks the lake panorama outside a large picture window. The knotty pine board walls and built-ins hold loads of art, antiques, books, and other collected curiosities.
Up the green staircase, enjoy 4 cozy bedrooms with tons of personality:
The "Primary Bedroom": A full-size bed, side tables, dresser, small remote desk/workspace.
The "Yellow Room": A full-size bed, side tables, dresser, small sitting area.
The "Jungle Room": A full-side bed, side table, luggage rack, locked host closet.
The "Funky Bunky": One set of twin bunk beds, a third twin bed, side table, dresser.
The newly renovated upstairs bathroom includes a shower, toilet, vanity, and storage cabinets.
A washer/dryer is located on the screened-porch for your convenience.
The open-air half of the wraparound porch holds a set of yellow rocking chairs, a glider couch, watersport storage and a mini kitchenette for all of your beach goodies.
We just added a huge outdoor shower/changing room to the side of the cottage for rinsing off sandy pets/children at the end of the day. It's now one of our favorite features!
The private sandy beach leading up to the water is perfect for families, and the water depth is clear and gradual. Tie your boat up to our private dock, or take our canoe out for a paddle.
End your evenings gathered around the outdoor fireplace roasting s'mores with your friends and family.

I have spent every summer of my life on Mascoma Lake, and I'm so excited to share my favorite place with you! My family rented this house for 26 years before we had the opportunity to call it our own. We love spending time on the lake in our '74 Century boat, "The Fox-Sea Lady" and you can find us every weekend morning at the slalom course by the bridge. When we aren't enjoying lake life, we're hiking, camping, or spending time with our family.
