Everything in this condo was immaculate. The kitchen had everything we needed and is amazing. Lots of seating. Great location! Beds were comfy.

Great stay on the Strand

Our time on the Strand was wonderful. The property is beautiful, well equipped and in a great location. We stayed here with our adult children and their spouses. We all agreed it exceeded our expectations & we’d stay here again in a minute.

The house was incredible. We enjoyed our stay. No complaints. Location is prime. So fun watching the waves crash into the rocks at night! Will be staying there again!

Beautiful

Beautiful condo with a beautiful view. We had a wonderful family vacation here. The condo had everything we needed when we wanted to stay in and was in a great location to walk to anything else we wanted or needed. Great communication Would absolutely recommend. 10 out of 10

Great Getaway Spot

The condo was so nice, spacious, and clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The underground parking was amazing since we had our own spot, and it was very secure (which is a big plus in Oceanside). You can access the sand just a few steps away, and the best part was listening to the waves all day and night. It was so relaxing. If you like to people-watch, this is your spot.

Great Location

Location is walking distance to sandy beach area, beautiful views, and great for people watching. Parking right outside your door is a huge plus for us. Inside is exactly as described and shown in pictures. We will be back.

Lovely to be close to Ocean.

We enjoyed the location watching the high tide crashing over rocks. The Sandy beach( beautiful) Was too far away to walk(1 mile). The Condo very well appointed , but showing some wear and tear. the 3 of us had a great vacation .

What an amazing place!

Wow! What an amazing place this is! We rent a beach house every summer and this place is by far the most beautiful, best location, and the cutest décor of all. All bedrooms are so comfortable. Each has its own private bath which was such a luxury for all the families we vacationed with. The kitchen was well stocked and table and beautiful island allowed us to all eat together. Our favorite walk was to the Oceanside Pier. It has a cute shop to buy a fishing license for our kids to fish off the Pier. Oceanside has great restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely return to this fabulous beach house again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I loved this gorgeous condo. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and the location was oceanfront. The only drawback was all the cars Driving by on the strand. However, with the doors closed you could not hear them. We would rent again from Homeaway but would choose an upstairs unit next time. The Homeaway staff was very helpful and friendly.

Spacious accommodations and great view!

The accommodations were just right for our family of six. Everything was clean and updated. The patio on the ocean front was terrific and only marred by the slow parade of cars that drive the one-way road in front. I guess this was also a source of some entertainment. The gas tabletop fire did not work, but there was another tower heater that did. We walked the 4 blocks to the sand beach and then up to the pier and beyond for a fun time. There are plenty of choices close by for good food and drink. All in all, we had a wonderful time!

Beautiful Beachfront Stay on the Strand

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great trip to the property with 5 adults and 2 kids. The rental was large and airy with plenty of space for everyone. The finishes and furnishings are updated and top of the line making for a very luxurious stay. From the kitchen (which was well stocked with anything you would need), to the gas fire pit on the patio, to the bedroom and bathroom finishes to the enclosed parking garage to the great beach location, we would definitely stay again. The only thing we would recommend is perhaps changing out the mattress in the back bedroom as there were some significant lumps and valleys. Everything about this property was perfect and one of the best we’ve stayed at in Oceanside over the last 15-20 years. We’d definitely stay again!

Nice instead, Busy and Loud Outside

The property is well maintained inside. However, the patio was not only not maintained well (broken fire table, dirty), but the patio is right up against a busy thoroughfare. We had a constant stream of cars, bikers, walkers, etc. walking past. Many were smoking pot or had very loud music booming from their cars. We wanted to have the windows open to hear the ocean, but the pot smoke and regular smoke was too intrusive. The noise also made it difficult to sleep at a reasonable hour. Finally, there was no lock on the gate for the patio so anyone if they had chosen could have walked right in from the street - another reason we couldn't keep the doors open.

Townsite

Property was changed due to a repair issue on the original unit. Communication started less than a week before our arrival. Communication was poor. Once we finally communicated with someone which was the day before our arrival, we were asked if the new property was acceptable which it was. We were provided a code for the unit itself, but no codes for the garage entry or the front gate onto the property for which we had to call in for both. Inner door locks also had codes which we needed to call back in for. Overall, the property was beautiful, the property management made good on everything, but the communication was frustrating at best.

Upscale beach front condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group included four adults and two older teens. Plenty of room for everyone and the rooms were well spaced apart and included private bathrooms. The back bedroom is huge with a pullout couch. Lots of kitchen storage for your food and enough dishes to serve for a crowd. Appliances are all new and high end with a gas range. We enjoyed the patio, but beware of a lot of homeless who come right up to the table. We left iPads out for a few minutes and almost lost them. The ad clearly says there is no direct beach access. It can be accessed via stairs close by, but there is little to no walkable beach at high tide. We drove up closer to the harbor to get to the beach. Walking distance to a little market and some restaurants (unless you have little ones). The parking is very secure and underground. All access via code so we didn't have to hassle with keys.

Great communication but was DIRTY

Let me start by saying that the communication was great and response to issues was quick. However I wish I could post a picture of the amount of animal hair that WE had to vacuum up because when my sister sat on one of the rugs to stretch her back she got up and was covered in dog hair. By the time we finished vacuuming the entire container was full. I was disappointed and disgusted at the same time. Ther thing that were either broken and not fixed or simply didn’t work like the fire pit attached to the table ( one of the main reasons why we stayed there, fire ,view and drinks) listen I lived on the strand for 3 yrs and I know that the ocean air destroys things however when renting a million plus home I expect better. We were refunded the fee to get in at 2:00 instead of 4:00 $111.00)and told we could stay till 12 on check out instead of 10 which was nice and we were asked if we wanted the cleaners to come but I declined as we had already cleaned the entire home as a family so we could get on with the reason we were there a 25th wedding anniversary for my sister that came from Kentucky and my parents and my other sister who lives close by. We actually left a day and half early because we could not take the animal dander any longer a few of us were so stuffed up and itchy eyed it was not worth it. Also Oceanside has some strange people and they stare you down as they walk by its pretty creepy as well as constant music and cars driving by till late in the evening. I would never rent a bottom floor again for that reason. I will never rent a home that is not rented by the owner due to issues like this. I feel that they can not see to the cleanliness or care of the home like someone who personally owns it. Who ever it was I was dealing with was nice and prompt but I was not happy with the stay at all sadly as it was 2 yrs in the making due to covid and only to be completely disappointed. I never leave bad reviews but this one was to much .

Great spot!

I thought it’d be a little easier to access the beach than it was (high tide most of the day means you have to walk down a ways) but it was still awesome. It’s ground level, so be aware that every living person walking by is going to gawk inside, but the shades were easy to use and gave us privacy when we got sick of being on display. We hope to return soon!

Awesome View

Truly lovely unit because of the view and the easy access to everything Oceanside. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is huge, unit itself very roomy. They either need new cleaning people or new cleaning products. Huge floor to ceiling mirror wall upon arrival was filthy. Needs new carpeting in bedrooms and new rugs in living room. Needs new dishwasher. Just an overhaul of the entire unit would make it perfect.

Wonderful getaway

Wonderful getaway. Myself and a few girlfriends continued an annual beach vacation for a few days. The unit was lovely with everything we could require. Laundry soap, washer dryer, all kitchen gadgets needed, extra towels and sheets. The unit could use a little updating with cabinets and cleaner rugs on the floor although knowing it’s a Beach unit it’s understandable. My only recommendation would be if there was a way to have screens on the wonderful sliding doors. Would love to have heard the ocean more but could not leave them opened as there were a lot of flies there that decided to come in! But all in all would definitely come back
