This cozy cabin nestled in the tranquility of the woodlands around Lake Cascade provides the ideal mountain retreat for a one‑of‑a‑kind mountain getaway. With beautiful log columns, rough sawn beams, and ample wood finishes — all mixed with modern amenities, you’ll feel the inviting openness of a true mountain lodge. Relax in the hanging hammocks (available during summer months only), unwind on the spacious wrap‑around deck, enjoy outdoor dining under the umbrella, or rock gently in the chairs while taking in the views of this nearly 2‑acre property.
Just a ¼‑mile walk down a gentle trail through the trees, along the south fence line, brings you to a quiet cove on Lake Cascade — a hidden gem that feels private and relaxing. This cabin is your perfect base for outdoor adventures: launch your boat at the nearby Lake Cascade Boat Ramp, explore Crown Point Campground, or simply take in the peaceful rhythm of Idaho mountain life.
Sleeping accommodations:
Bedroom 1- King Bed
Bedroom 2- King Bed
Bedroom 3- Twin over Queen bunk bed
Bedroom 4- 2 Twin bunk beds. The bottom can turn into a king bed by putting the 2 twins together.
12th occupant will need to use the portable crib or Queen size air mattress.
* All beds include crisp, clean sheets and plenty of pillows and blankets for cozy comfort.
* Please message if you plan to use the portable crib, air mattress, or bottom bunks as a king so we can make sure they are ready for your stay.
Some of our favorite things to do at The Lodge on Shore Drive:
Relax in the hot tub beneath the stars.
Walk ¼‑mile to the lake shore for swimming, paddle boarding, or beaching your boat in the secluded cove.

Take a 30‑minute drive to Gold Fork Hot Springs (entrance fee) or Trail Creek Hot Springs (free natural pools).
Ski, snowboard, or mountain bike at Tamarack Resort.
Explore the nearby forest trails on foot, horseback, ATVs, bikes, fat-bikes, e-bikes, or snowmobiles (where allowed).
Gather for meals around the large dining table.
Roast marshmallows around the fire pit.
Play board games — trivia, Uno, Farkle, Chess, and more — or enjoy puzzles together.
Stream movies or watch DVDs/Blu‑rays on either TV.
Enjoy fresh mountain air while watching the sunset from the back‑deck rocking chairs.
Watch meteor showers from the sandy beach.
* All Wheel Drive or 4-Wheel Drive strongly recommended in winter months.

Reservation Terms: Full rent is due immediately unless a payment plan was pre-approved.
Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:00 am. Early check-in or late departures require prior authorization and may incur a $25 per hour fee.
Events/Parties: Events or parties are not allowed.
Pets: This home does not allow more than 1 pet. If you would like to bring a pet, please send us a message before booking. (ONLY DOGS ALLOWED AT PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES). All pets require pre-approval before booking and a $75 fee PER pet will be assessed and must be paid prior to arrival. Approval of pets are determined by several factors. Ex: age, weight, breed, amount of shedding and sex. If approval is granted but the pet fee(s) are not paid, a pet will be considered unauthorized. A $500 penalty (per pet) will be assessed to the primary guest if there is evidence that unauthorized animal(s) were outside and/or inside the cabin at any point during your stay. In addition, a group with an unauthorized pet might be asked to immediately depart, with no refund. In any event, damage done by a pet will incur an additional charge, whether authorized or unauthorized.
Smoking/Fireworks: Smoking, vaping, and fireworks are not allowed on the property.
Damage: Guests are responsible for any damages and must report them to management immediately.
Courtesy: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.
Cancellation: We abide by the cancellation policy agreed to at booking.
Home Furnishings: Please do not rearrange furniture.
Amenities: Management has 24 hours to repair amenities.
BBQ`s & Fire pits: Please note that where applicable, outdoor fire pits and BBQs are considered seasonal amenities and may not be available during the winter months due to weather conditions.
Fire Safety: Follow fire pit rules, and guests are responsible for any fire damage.
Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs): Operation of OHVs is not permitted on the property but street legal vehicles are allowed on public roads.
Trailer/RV Parking: RV parking requires pre-authorization and a $25 nightly fee.
Hot Tub: If this home has a hot tub (not all homes have hot tubs), please follow hot tub guidelines; a $150 charge applies for `drain and fill.`
Wi-Fi: As cabins are frequently located in a rural area, please be prepared for slow/spotty Wi-Fi and internet. Management makes every effort to ensure the Wi-Fi is in working condition, but cannot guarantee the internet will always be reliable, and will not permit refunds due to Wi-Fi/internet issues.
Capacity: Adhere to agreed-upon guest numbers.
Management is not responsible for the following: fires, smoke, algae bloom, water levels of the lake, lack of snow, abundance of snow, changing of the seasons, temperature highs, temperature lows, power outages, rain, mud, ice, etc. We are also not responsible for insects and/or animals (including: mosquitos, ants, spiders, bats, bears, deer, mice, mountain lions, bobcats, any animals that get into trash, or their droppings.) With being located in the mountains, we do our best to prevent these issues, however there are instances where it is inevitable. There will be no refund for any of the above listed issues. Thank you!
