Key Biscayne perfect stay!

The apartment is located so close to the beach and to restaurants & the grocery store in town. Kitchen was fully stocked, had everything we needed. The pool was clean and water was warm. The owner was delightful to deal with, he fixed a minor problem that occurred with an appliance immediately. He was great. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!!!

Comfortable and relaxing stay steps from the beach

Raul's Key Biscayne apartment provided for a relaxing week at the beach. It is about a five minute walk to the sand. The grocery store is an easy 10 minute walk. The kitchen is well stocked to cook and enjoy meals while staying in. Raul was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

This is a must stay. Location is prime, comfortable space, walking distance to pristine beaches, restaurants and grocery store. If you are in the Miami beach area or want to check out Key Biscayne, this is your spot.

Key Biscayne shines

Governors Lodge is the most convenient VRBO That I have stayed in . Short walk to everything . Close to Miami without traffic . No need to get on interstate roads as Brickell street for bayside and downtown . Miami Ave for Coconut grove and Coral gables . Apartment nice appliances and washer dryer . Pool is clean and works if beach is too windy . No hot tub here . Enjoyed my stay .

Two months on an island

The property is located on a pleasant street on beautiful Key Biscayne. The beach is about a five minute walk. The apartment is small but charming and the VRBO description was accurate. Our host, Raul Blanco, was excellent and responsive.

Great location

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks in January. The location is terrific - a block from the beach. The building is well maintained. The apartment itself could use a bit of updating. In particular, the blinds in the apartment are all vertical slats. On the days when the temperature was pleasant and we didn't require air conditioning, we couldn't open the windows in the bedroom without the vertical blinds clanging in the wind. But on the whole, we spent a comfortable 2 weeks in Raul's apartment.

Our stay was excellent. Everything we needed was provided, the location was ideal and the property was well appointed, very clean, quiet and exactly as described. The owner was wonderful, very kind and easy to communicate with. We had a fantastic experience !

Highly Recommend

Communication with host excellent. I arrived late and he left coffee, fruit and food for me. Greatly appreciated. Very comfortable with plenty of space for family of 3. Bathroom is a little dated but clean condo with all we needed. Plenty of towels. Sat on deck each morning for breakfast. Easy walk to beautiful beach. Quiet neighborhood with off street parking. Nice pool. I would rent again for sure.

As promised and more!

Raul greeted us upon arrival to point out all the amenities his top-floor, corner unit had to offer. We’ve stayed in other units in this building and continue to return because it is such a quite neighborhood and a great location. We hope to return very soon!

Perfect location -relaxing, quiet stay!

We recently had a ten day stay here and found everything just as promised. I am a light sleeper, and found the apartment to be very quiet, with no sound transfer from other units. The location was excellent .....literally one minute walk to the beach! The neighbourhood seemed friendly and very safe for walking. Raul was very kind, responsive and available to answer our questions. We will certainly stay here again. Thanks, Raul!

It was a perfect apt for myself and 3 kids. All Rooms were clean. Bed sheets clean. Felt safe. Simple decor. Had enough space to put bags etc. Detailed book at door to explain how everything worked. Only thing was toaster did not work. But owner called and was going to come fix it but I told him we were not even using it so do not worry. I would stay there again.

Great location, comfortable apartment, excellent owner

My wife and two college age daughters stayed here for a Spring Break week. The owner personally met us at the apartment. It was still being cleaned at the time, but we were able to store our luggage and change for the beach. The complex is VERY quiet and most times, we were the only ones down at the pool. As stated in other reviews, there is a grocery and some shops close by, but if you are looking for t-shirt shops every other store, Key Biscayne is not the place. However, if you are looking for a relaxing time on the beach or by the pool, this is the right spot.

lovely apartment, quiet building, great location

My husband and I enjoyed a week in this beautiful apartment. It was sparkling clean and comfortable. We loved having access to washer and dryer on site. It is nicely decorated and has everything needed for a great get-away. The apartment is about a block from the beach, a few blocks from grocery store, shopping & restaurants. The elevator building is so quiet and clean. Our host treated us well and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. Other residents in the building were also helpful to us. The location is excellent if you wish to go to downtown Miami, enjoy lovely beaches, play an excellent golf course and / or visit Fairchild Gardens. We will check back if we return to Key Biscayne as would love to stay in this apartment again.

Excellent condo in perfect location with wonderful owner

My family had one of the nicest experiences in this special property. We have rented many condos in lots of different locations, but have never been treated as well as in this condo. The owner was accommodating to our late arrival time, and even surprised us with fruit, cereal, sweets, coffee, and other groceries so that we would have something to eat in the morning. That has never happened to us before. It was an unforgettable gesture that set the tone for the rest of the vacation. The condo itself was pristine, comfortable, and just the right size for a family of four. We had everything that we needed. The photos and listing were accurate in terms of both the appearance and the amenities. The neighbors were quiet and respectful too. As for the location, the condo was perfectly situated: close to the beach, close to the park, and close to the shops and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance - and what a pleasant walk it is! I would not hesitate to recommend this property, and as soon as we know what our plans are for next year, I plan to contact the owner to see if we can rent it again.

I stayed at this attractive well located apartment this winter. The listing description was very accurate and the photos really reflect the way the apartment looks. The owner was always accessible, very kind and concerned, and always helpful to answer any questions. I would recommend this apartment to a friend or a relative, and I plan to return next year. The village is charming, I did not need or want a car, shopping is great, many restaurants, beach less than a five minute walk, and beach is for Key Biscayne residents only. Building and pool are always clean and well maintained. This is ideal for people who do not want to have to drive, seniors, families. Neighborhood quiet and well kept.
