Built in the early 60's, Palmside Retreat, is a historic Mid- Century Alexander private compound with breathtaking mountain views, the finest furniture, luxury amenities including a pool and spa, water features, putting green, natural gas BBQ, fire pit, indoor fire place, private gardens and even an arcade console! The home has been featured on The Modernism Home Tour and The Modernism Garden Tour! This vacation home has it all!

Palmside Retreat is located in Palm Springs Historic Golf Club Estates just a short drive from downtown Palm Springs. You will have access to world renowned shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and much more. Additionally, Trader Joes, Target, Vons and Starbucks are less than a 5-minute drive!

Indoor

Experience real luxury comfort! The stunning interior features marble-style white porcelain flooring with an open concept creating true California indoor/outdoor living. There are two living areas with mountain views for plenty of space to relax that include a gas fireplace, 75” TV, vintage arcade gaming table with over 3500 games, and a gorgeous chefs kitchen stocked with all the necessary culinary items. Top of the line appliances and a huge dining area adjacent to the island bar with sliders that open up to the outdoor space. The kitchen is truly the heart of the home.

Bedrooms

Each of the 3 bedrooms feature luxury king beds and linens. Guests will also enjoy Smart TVs in each bedroom along with plenty of closet space. The master features an en-suite with a huge shower and double vanity. The bedrooms are also located away from the entertaining area for anyone wishing for an early quiet night.

Outdoor

As you walk outdoors, you will be instantly greeted by a covered and shaded casual seating area, large outdoor dining table and a large resort-style pool and spa. The patio is perfect for gathering with loved ones or enjoying a nice BBQ with the outdoor fire pit and the putting green. The casita has a bathroom for convenience. Whether you enjoy taking a dip or catching some sun by the pool, you will find this backyard to be stylish, comfortable, and private. Let's not forget about those incredible mountain views!

You will have complete access to the entire home. The house is gated and the backyard is completely private!

*Optional pool/spa heat can be added after your booking for $69-99 per night (seasonal).

*You must be 25 years or older to rent a vacation home in Palm Springs.

Awesome Home

This is a great house in a really good area. Central to lots of shops, restaurants, and 5 minutes from the airport. The house is very clean, very spacious and accommodating. Two cons. First, is the third bathroom is actually outside. It’s a pool house bathroom. I feel like that tidbit of information should be disclosed because it was how we ultimately decided on this house. Three women on a girls trip, and we each wanted our own private bathroom quarters. It was super inconvenient to have to go outside every day to shower and get dressed. The second con are the separate charges to heat the pool and the hot tub. Just factor it into your pricing structure. Again, we picked this house for the spa/hot tub, now to use it I have to pay more per day? That was a little disappointing. Overall a great property. The host and the concierge were pretty responsive as well.

Great Spot, Good Amenities and Pool

The house was great. It has a well setup kitchen and the beds are comfy. Really nice layout for a couple of families to share. The kids loved the pool and the Arcade machine. Well, I guess we all loved the pool. Host Ryan and Concierge Missy we very helpful! It's in a good area of town with easy access to groceries and Boomers arcade / batting cages / mini golf / go carts. About a 5-10 minute drive to downtown palm springs. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks Ryan!

Very enjoyable stay.

Nice clean house. Found the 3rd bathroom was out in the laundry room by the pool but it was warm so no big deal. Video games were fun. The whole house was beautifully decorated and comfortable.

Fantastic house

Everything about this house was as described. A beautiful property with extensive amenities. The owner was incredibly responsive and accommodating. In addition, this is a great house for kids. It was well-stocked with toys, an arcade system, and (obviously) the pool. The only potential concern for some visitors could be its proximity to a major road, but due to the landscaping you could hardly hear any street noise in the backyard, and none in the house.

Wonderful Home in Palm Springs

We had a wonderful stay at Ryan's place. He was very prompt with answering my questions before our trip. The location is great (close to the airport, Target, Trader Joe's, and a short 10 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs). Check-in was easy. The entire place was exceptionally clean. The house is far more spacious inside than it appears and is tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. I had requested the pool and spa heated beforehand. We've stayed at other places in Palm Springs and requested similar only to have the pool still be too cold to use. We were not disappointed here! The pool was warm enough to swim in and the spa was very relaxing. We will definitely try to stay here again!
