The house was warm, which is important in subzero temps! The garage was great. We really enjoyed all four large comfortable beds. We were amazed by the 8 huge TVs. And thank you for the slightly early arrival.

Perfect for large family

This comfortable home was excellent for my extended family in town for UND graduation. The neighborhood was quiet. We had three children (12,12,18) and they were excited to see there was ping pong, basketball, and a huge smart TV with two big couches. My elderly mom had her own bathroom. We stayed in the basement with our own bathroom. We were also there during a tornado warning! So it was nice to have a place with its own basement. The other graduation families had to evacuate to a hotel shelter with dozens of strangers. Everything was fine, it’s the Midwest, but something to consider if you’re traveling during tornado season. The place was super clean and had everything we needed. Washer, dryer, coffee, kitchen supplies. It was also nice to have garage space for both cars! I’ve stayed in bougie vrbos with towels folded into swans and wine and rose petals on the bed, this is not that. This is a clean comfy home for a family, well stocked and spacious. Enjoy!

Nice place, don’t reccomend for allergies

This house is large with planety of space for lots of people. Lots of big TVs and a ton of yard space. Would be great for a stay with kids. My one complaint is that I have pet allergies and unfortunately the cleaning was not enough to keep me from having a reaction. The owner made no claims about it being perfectly allergy safe but the couch and throw blankets had not been cleaned properly which is what caused my reaction. Lots of carpet as well which holds allergens. So if you have allergies like me I would reccomend staying somewhere else.

Review of Manvel, N D house

House was spacious for our family Easter get together. Able to host our Easter meal for family that lived in the area!! Concerns. no top sheets- were the blankets then washed? Some things require repair or maintenence - no baseboard in small bathroom and cracks in sheetrock in dinning area and living room. Kitchen cabinets finish seem like it was greasy or finish is in need of attention. Good value for the cost.

Peaceful

This property is located in a nice little peaceful town. It is just a short drive to UND. The house is exactly as described and Paul is very helpful and communicative. Check in was a breeze and loved that we could park in the garage. The house has so much room and I would definitely recommend staying here. If we are back in the area I will be looking up Paul's place to see if it is available! Thanks Paul for making our stay comfortable!

A perfect place for us!

We felt so lucky to find Paul's home on vrbo. It was the perfect place to stay that is central to much of our family, so we were able to have a home base during our visit home over thanksgiving. Paul was very communicative and helpful. The kitchen has everything you need! And so much space for my sister and her children - who absolutely loved playing ping pong in the basement. Fantastic place!

Great location for us!

The house was just what we needed for 3 couples in our 60s with 3 bathrooms & 3 king beds. Great neighbors & a great location as we visited a sibling in Grand Forks & friends in a nearby town in MN. The only reason for a 4 star rating instead of 5 on the cleanliness was that the curb appeal could be improved with some trimming around the house, but overall it was a great place to stay. We had an issue with one of the TVs, but the owner helped get that resolved in a timely manner, so all was good!

Perfect for what we needed

This property was perfect for us very spacious and stocked with whatever we needed. We stayed for a month and Paul was very responsive and checked in with us frequently to make sure everything was going well. Would stay here again!

Remote location, but adequate

The city of Manvel is pretty remote, and outside of a couple of churches, a bar, and a gas station, there is nothing there, so you will need to entertain yourself with outdoor activities (hunting, snowmobiling, etc.) or drive to Grand Forks, which is 10-15 mins away. House is on the older side, but it has all the expected amenities with good Wi-Fi. The check-in and checkout process was very easy with no unreasonable requests, so it was a solid stay overall.
