Escape to a charming gingerbread-style lakeside cabin on the Rim Canal of Lake Okeechobee, where vibrant sunsets and lush landscaping create the perfect backdrop. Fire up the BBQ grill, gather around the shared fire pits for s’mores, enjoy a relaxing picnic, or sip your morning coffee in the screened-in porch. Take a dip in the heated saltwater pool, bring your fishing boat for convenient dock access (available first-come, first-served), and cast a line with provided rods. Hope to see you soon!

The cottage was perfect for the two of us, the kitchen had everything we needed and was nice to cook meals, there were beach towels, games, 2 tvs and a Dollar General next door and a screened in front patio. Our host checked in on us, was easy to communicate with, very helpful. It was close to access to the lake trail, a boat ramp to the rim canal. The community has a heated saltwater pool and lounge chairs, was right behind our cabin. We will definitely go back.

We Highly recommend staying here! It was a beautiful cabin that had everything we needed. The property was beautiful and the salt water pool was a perfect spot to relax. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend.

Staying here made out trip delightful

Great location, pictures are accurate, easy to work with owner, great view both front and back of cabin. Clean pool, fish cleaning station and boat launch. Plus piers for boat parking.

My family and I were biking the tail around the lake and this was a good half way point to stop for the night. Place is perfect for 4 people , would have been nice to stay a few more nights.

A Blissful Retreat: Log Cabin Tranquility on lake Okeechobee

Our time at the log cabin on Okeechobee Lake was a delightful escape. Whether you seek tranquility, adventure, or simply a break from the ordinary, this cabin is a gem waiting to be discovered. Our only regret is that our stay was too short. We're already dreaming of returning to this idyllic retreat for another dose of lakeside bliss.

Quaint and cozy cabin

We were in the area to visit family that are “Snow Birds” in Okeechobee and to do a-lot of fishing. Our cabin provide a nice place to get away and relax each evening after a long day on the water. The area felt very safe. The resort had a quiet charm about it. The cabin was quaint and cozy. We would definitely stay again.

There was great communication with the host Ms. Danielle. She was very accommodating to our needs and comfort. We were also allowed to check in a few hours earlier which was greatly appreciated. The cabin was clean and well kept. Definitely looking forward to our next stay.

Best relaxing Get Away you can Find for the Money.

From the moment we walked into the cabin it was like "wow". The place looks small but has 2 bedrooms, living room, front porch. We took a nap on the front porch during the middle of the day. We used the boat ramp on site and the dock to keep our boat. Fishing was great and they had a fish cleaning station. We did not use the beautiful pool but will next visit. This is well worth the money and the host were awesome!

I arrived in the sheets were not clean on the bed the toilet was dirty. So forth and so on there was enough dirt on the fan for a Year's worth of dust. I contacted the property manager she was great she gave me a credit towards my cleaning fee but I still didn't feel very comfortable in the cabin. Then she wanted to send a cleaning lady back over to move furniture inside the porch because of a storm that was coming but I didn't feel comfortable with the cleaning lady coming back since I had already complained about the cleaning lady.

Lisa, I apologize your visit to my cabin was only a 2/10. As soon as you reached out to me regarding the bedding situation, I responded immediately and informed you where you can locate sheets as well as refunding you for the cleaning fee. I strive myself on excellent customer service so yes that is why I had asked if you would like an additional cleaning at no fee. There was a hurricane coming and yes, I had asked if it was OK if the cleaning crew would be able to come by and place my outdoor furniture inside of the porch where you would not have any interaction with them and you declined. Thank you.

Avoid Cabin 16

The community exudes charm, offering an enjoyable and serene atmosphere. However, despite our generally positive experience, Cabin #16 fell short in terms of being child-friendly and maintaining cleanliness. Issues such as unclean surfaces, dirty dishes, grimy sinks, dead roaches, and bug-infested sticky traps under the beds were concerning. Moreover, despite Danielle mentioning an early cabin availability, we were surprised with an unexpected early check-in fee. The host also accused us of leaving the cabin untidy, despite the lack of suitable seating for children to prevent crumbs. Despite our efforts to keep the cabin clean, we were charged for alleged damages and cleaning tasks. Danielle's unprofessionalism and discourtesy, along with unwarranted criticism and overcharging, were disappointing. She failed to meet cleanliness standards and unfairly shifted this responsibility to guests. In contrast, other family members in different cabins had positive experiences without extra charges. The discrepancies in treatment and billing practices indicate a lack of transparency and fairness in property management. It's best to steer clear of Cabin 16.

Robert, If you took the time to look at my listing you would see that it does indicate that my cabin is family friendly but it also states that I do not provide children toys or furniture. You did ask for an early check-in by 12:00 pm which I granted, however you showed up at 10:00 am in the middle of the cleaning service which is why you incurred an additional fee. You did leave my cabin untidy (towels on the floor, empty water bottles, crumbs on the floor as well and your children broke my candles and a bird house of mine as well which is why I charged you an additional fee. If you wanted to, you could have reached out with your concerns while you were there and we could have addressed it immediately.
