Relax with the whole family at this lovely newly renovated 2 bedroom cabin, one bathroom, full kitchen, spacious living room with leather furniture. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and TV. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a TV. Enjoy the fireplace AND BBQ outside along with the screened gazebo. There is a screened in back porch off the kitchen for enjoying food or drinks, facing the woods. Feel free to message questions. We do collect a $75.00 dog fee cash or check. We also offer Pontoon, Kayak, and e-bike rentals. The rail trail is just 1/8 of a mile down the road, with access for biking, skiing or snowmobiling. Plenty of room to park your snowmobiles on the property and have access to miles of groomed trails.

The cabin was super clean. The owner checked in to make sure everything was satisfactory.The beds were so comfy and the couch as well. Fully stocked kitchen.

My brother and I and our dogs spent a few days in July based here while we bird watched, and the place was ideal. Conveniently located just off the main road, but surrounded by woods and isolated from traffic noise. Outdoor area very pleasant and lower than the road adding to the sense of peace. Fenced in yard perfect for our medium-small dogs (though perhaps not secure for extremely small ones -- beware).Inside was clean, well-stocked, and super comfortable. Beds were great, the kitchen had everything we needed, living room furniture was nice, and they provided a quilt for pups who want to be on the couch. We happened to be there during a heat wave, and the bedroom air conditioning units were more than adequate to keep the entire house comfortable.So much to do in the area, but if like us, you are looking for non-challenging outdoors walks, the rail trail can be accessed a very short distance down Ray Brook Road.

Little cabin in the woods

Loved the place. Back screened porch was the best. Easy to get to. A little closer to the main road than I was expecting. Overall very satisfied.

Beautiful cabin getaway

The space was clean, well-curated, VERY well-stocked, and easy to access. We arrived to a beautiful cabin where the host had thought of everything! There were plenty of dishes, a coffee maker, a water heater, spices, and clean towels. The tap water was delicious and the outdoor space was stunning. Due to rain, we were unable to use the outdoor fireplace, but the cozy enclosed porch allowed us to enjoy the outdoors even through a dramatic thunderstorm! The host even labeled light switches to make sure we knew which corresponded to which light. The location was excellent, between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, and the cabin gave us the privacy that allowed us to feel like we were right in the woods with the convenience and comforts of a shower, comfy beds, and a kitchen. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for such a lovely weekend!

Lovely stay

We came up to ski at Whiteface. Perfect location. Able to easily visit Placid and Saranac. Very dog friendly spot. Easy walk down the road to a trail system and rails trails.

Great location

Great location for an easy and fun trip to Lake Placid/ Saranac Lake area. House had everything we needed and was comfortable and warm. Close to the ADK rail trail and Scarface trailhead for walking the pup.

Nice cottage in Raybrook

The house was clean and well suited to our group of 4. The kitchen was well equipped and thoughtfully laid out, the main living area was adjacent to the kitchen which was nice. There were nice outdoor options as well, the screened back porch and screen house were pleasant outdoor spaces. The property was conveniently located to many area attractions and a minute from a beautiful rail trail, as well as the trail to Scarface, a very nice hike. Overall the experience was delightful, the hosts were responsive but also very hands off, I would highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a high peaks experience, or even just the overall Adirondack feel.

Perfect location

Location is ideal for access to both Lake Placid and Saranac while being able to be a bit removed from the downtown hustle of both. Everything was newly updated and spotless - great outdoor space too. Loved the screened in back porch.

Excellent choice!

We very much enjoyed the house. Right off the main road between Saranac Lake & Lake Placid so it was conveniently located for us. It was very clean and seemed newly renovated. We were there on a hot weekend and found it comfortable temperature wise. The wifi signal was good all weekend long. We loved the screened-in porch, that made the place perfect. Our host was attentive and we had no reason to contact her throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend and will stay here again if the occasion arises.

Wonderful and Cozy Cabin

This cabin was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen is huge and the island was perfect place for us to both eat and hang out together. The kitchen has every utensil you could want and the pantry provides lots of space for storing groceries. The living room is super inviting for family time as well. I enjoyed coffee each morning in the bug-free 3 season room. It was a 5 star stay all around.

Everything you could want in a great location

This lovely cottage is situated right between Saranac and Lake Placid making it easy to visit both for whatever activities you want to do. Great communication with the owner. We’ll be back.

Wonderful week!

We just got back from our stay in Ray Brook and really loved the cabin. The furnishings were very nice, and the bed was super comfortable. The location is convenient to both Lake Saranac and Lake Placid, with lots of hiking trails nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of space to eat and play board games on the island. Our dog loved the windows and screened in porch. Highly recommend!

Cozy and convenient

We stayed over Presidents Day weekend. It’s conveniently located with pretty much everything you could want less than 20 mins away. Amenities: the attention to detail is excellent. The cottage is well-appointed and stylish, but still cozy. Pets are welcome, and they are considerate with doggy bags, towels by the door, and flashlights for nighttime walking. The home is WARM! Which was really nice after a cold day skiing or hiking. The beds are very comfy! Kitchen has everything you need and a dishwasher which is super nice. The cottage is walking distance to a 24-hour convenience store. Communication with the owner was fantastic, they were quick to respond even at 10pm when we accidentally locked our stuff in a closet. 10/10 recommend and will stay again

Delightful stay

I am so happy I ended up choosing this place. We rented for the weekend to celebrate my son's birthday. The house is absolutely adorable, very clean. I was just amazed at how the owners made sure we knew where everything was and the house was stocked with everything. The house was beautiful inside, and we felt so cozy and comfortable there! Thanks for making our 1st trip to Lake Placid a great one!
