Welcome to our brand new beach home! This four-bedroom, 3.5 bath home has been remodeled from the studs up, post Ian! It is ready for you to enjoy.

Beach access is 3 houses away. A total of 1/4 mile walk from doorstep to toes in the water. Home is located on desirable east end of the island, with easy access to causeway, restaurants, shopping and beaches. Canal-front home provides beautiful views from pool and patio.

Single-level home features a fully-stocked kitchen. We have been long-time VRBO renters ourselves, and know what a renter needs! Open floorpan with kitchen, dining and great room all at the center of the home. The home features a full wall of sliding doors and windows for beautiful views of the pool and canal.

Two bedrooms on each wing of the house. The primary suite has a comfortable king bed and an attached bathroom, with walk-in shower and double sink. Primary suite has a sliding door to walk straight out onto the patio. Also on that side of the home is a flexible bedroom/office space, with daybed that expands to a queen bed, a desk/workspace and a closet.

In the other wing of the home is a junior suite, with an ensuite bath, comfortable king bed, closet, and sliding door to patio. Also on that side of the home is a bedroom with two twin beds, large closet space and an adjacent bathroom, with double sinks.

The outdoor space includes a heated pool, outdoor kitchen, outdoor fireplace and TV. The entire space is enclosed by premium no-see-um screens, to avoid pesky bug bites.

The house comes fully furnished. 11% FL sales tax applicable on rentals for less than 6 months. Minimum rental is 14 days, according to Sanibel city regulations. Extra days and their rates in months with more than 28 days are negotiable. We will consider discounts for longer stays.

Home includes:
High-speed Wifi, TVs (living room and pool area), 4 beach bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrella and toys. Baby gear (high chair, pack'n'play and carseat) available upon request.

Beautiful Home - Super Busy Street

We loved the home and the beautiful view of the canal behind the house. The owner was easy to communicate with via text and she responded quickly. The house was completely renovated after the hurricane so everything was brand new. The street where the house is located is on one of the busiest on Sanibel and all the construction traffic created backups in front of the house at least two to three hours every afternoon. There were no blinds or shades at the front of the house so the living room and kitchen were in clear view of the road which was particularly bothersome when there was a lot of traffic and at night - we felt like we were always on display. Also, the side door coded lock didn’t always work so renters should always take the key with them. The house rental does not included the use of the garage so our truck got filthy. The master bedroom closet was locked so we did not have access which was disappointing and a bit inconvenient since we had no place to store suitcases except in the bedroom. The pool is very small and odd shaped so it’s more of a float pool. Overall, the house is beautiful but we would not rent it again.

I’m so glad that you loved our home! I’m sorry that as our first renter you experienced a few glitches. We have now completely fixed the programmed lock entrance. It just needed new batteries and reprogramming. As for the front window, we love the way our main room feels like a part of the outdoors - looking at the beautiful foliage to the front and the water to the back. However, we have installed a shade on the front window for nighttime. The pool is not designed for swimming laps but we just had twelve adults over for a pool party and had many swimmers and floaters in the pool at the same time with no space issues. Lastly, traffic on Sanibel is a problem currently, as we work to rebuild this lovely island, post hurricane Ian. The traffic controllers are working to keep traffic flowing on Periwinkle so back routes through neighborhoods like ours are not used as heavily. We find the traffic is only noticeable from 3-5pm on weekdays. Thank you for the four star review despite some minor inconveniences!

We love this neighborhood due to the ease of access to the beach via private parking and trail only accessible for shell beach neighbors. Also, ease of access off island, no waiting in long traffic lines on periwinkle.
