The location was beautiful overlooking the ocean from a cliff. Views from the kitchen, under the lighthouse in the master viewing room, and from the deck were phenomenal. We were also lucky to have clear blue skies and almost 60 degree weather in late December. The kitchen was spacious and modern. The beds were very comfortable. The jetted tub in in master bathroom was a nice bonus. Everything went almost perfect on this 4 day/3 night trip. I am glad that we were able to stay here and will likely book again if we travel to this area again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Lighthouse. It was bright, clean, spacious, and welcoming. We had all the amenities needed to cook and enjoy a sit-down dinner. The welcome basket was a thoughtful, welcoming gesture, and Kevin was responsive and easy to communicate with. thanks so much for having us- hope to return!

Wonderful! Amazing views. Comfortable, clean. No pets or pet smells. (A big plus)A couple of mild negatives: Beds were too soft for us but are probably fine for others. Only one bathroom has a shower.

Great view! Clean and well stocked kitchen. We stayed here for our elopement on the coast and it was perfect, other than no full length mirror! Would have been nice to have while getting ready in my dress. Also, can’t access the upstairs light house area, which was a little disappointing. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back again!

We stayed here for a few nights as part of our Pacific Northwest road trip and I'm so glad we did! The check in process was easy. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make some much needed home cooked meals after multiple nights of eating out. The view from both the upper and lower floors was amazing! We spent a lot of timing watching boats coming in and out of the harbor, and even spotted a couple of dolphins out in the water. The best part is now we can say we've stayed in a working lighthouse. If we're ever in Brookings again, this will be our first choice to stay.

Our stay at the Pelican Bay Lighthouse was the best vacation house by far! It was exactly as the pictures showed and had everything we needed!! The view from the loft couldn’t be beat!!

Perfect vacation

This is our second stay and it was just as lovely as the first time. Perfect place to stay in Brookings, rain or shine. Kitchen is so well appointed too…has an Insta Pot, Vitamix and of course a coffee pot. Games, books and beautiful views. Cozy blankets just right for curling up with a book, glass of wine or cup of coffee on the deck. Easy parking for 3 cars. We will definitely be back.

Lovely stay at unique lighthouse

Pelican Bay Lighthouse was a wonderful stay for our family. The house is cozy and clean and we felt comfortable right away. We loved sitting on the balcony looking out on the ocean and the beautiful sunsets! Hosts were responsive and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. I would love to return soon and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Spectacular - 10 out of 10 - Better than expected

This property is a gem. Its so good it made the whole town seem even more charming than it actually could have been. The sunsets are priority appointment viewing. So brilliant. The entire property has a world class views of the ocean and sunset. The interior of the property is well kept, and comfortable, with a lot of comfortable couches to sit and take in the views. The master (Captains Quarters as we called it) has its own viewing area with a working ships wheel and the bed extends into the home but still has spectacular 180 views of town and the ocean. We felt like it was private, but it is really close to town, the harbor and a short drive to restaurants. We will stay here again. 5 min walk to the beach, 20 minute drive to Redwoods. So great!
