Enjoyed house and location

Had a great stay at the house. Location has easy access to downtown and south Austin spots. Home was comfortable with extra amenities like the pool. We would stay here again if visiting Austin.

Perfect staycation

I completely enjoyed my stay! The property is larger than it appears inside, very roomy. The outdoor area had everything you would want for a fun and relaxing afternoon. Great little neighborhood, just minutes from downtown Austin. I’d book here again!

Lovely home & perfect location

Property was perfect for hosting our bachelorette party of 8. The location was convenient to all activities we had planned around the city but was still in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The home was clean, comfortable and Kush was amazing to work with! Highly recommend.

Great Stay

The hosts were very accommodating. House was just as shown. The pool was a hit for all. (Could use some more lounge chairs around the pool - there was a lack of comfy pool furniture with only 1 lounge chair back there.) Close to downtown and the restaurant recommendations were delicious.

Bachelorette Party Hangout Spot!

Booked this place for a bachelorette party. We did most of the fun things IN downtown, but the bride loved the place we booked. There was plenty of room for everyone and then some! It was great.

Property was great, we used it for new years weekend. Had plenty of propane on sight for the fire outside and grill so we could cook. Check in / checkout process was smooth. Very communicative.

Daughters wedding

We booked our stay at this home because of the location and amenities. It was the perfect home for entertaining, ping pong table, pool, hot tub and fire pit. The home has lots of space and was great for my family of 10 ppl.

Great Group Spot

Had everything needed amd heaps of space to spread out. Hot tub takes a bit to warm up, so if you would like a soak.. turn it on as soon as you arrive. Fabulous yard, too. Comfortable stay! Thanks so much!

Great Location, Great Size

We enjoyed our stay! It was a great size for our group. The location is ideal for quick trips to downtown and convenient location to the airport. Great find for the price! The house was very clean, but the outdoor area was not in the best shape. Additionally, the 'living room' bedroom option was a little misleading - it is not a pull-out couch as expected.

Mini Trip

This place is highly recommended. You have everything you need. Especially a pool and a hot tub. What else can you ask for. The neighborhood was nice didn’t have to worry about a thing. Definitely will be back.

Comfortable & private

We enjoyed the aesthetic of this remodeled older home, comfy indoor layout, fun ping pong, good coffee & kitchen -- also with its large yard, pool, hot tub, covered outdoor space & fire pit. Great for a family reunion or friend getaway. A couple of bumps quickly addressed by the responsive owner. Thank you, Kush!

Nice and Accommodating

The owner was great at communicating. The house was clean, just needed extra towels and Tp but easily found them in the closet. Pool floats would’ve been great but they are already taking care of that! They even ordered us a blender. Appreciate a comfortable stay and would recommend.

Great Stay!

Thanks for the great stay! House was clean, similar to description, and host was responsive. The backyard is definitely the highlight! If I had to be critical, only things I would mention that were slightly different than the description is that I am pretty sure one of the rooms is only a full bed (not a queen) and there wasn’t a nespresso coffee machine (there was a normal drip machine and they already bought coffee for it which was appreciated though). Not a big deal, and overall it was a great place to stay!

Great South Austin Location

Great location next to just about everything you would need. The house is in a great neighborhood that has a neat walking trail that is directly behind the house. Our little ones really enjoyed walking this path a couple times a day. The backyard is spacious and we enjoyed the fire pit every night we were there. Kush was super responsive and helpful from the time we booked to the time we left, even allowing us to get back into the home to get something we forgot. There were three couples with 4 kids under the age of 5 and had more than enough space and things to do for everyone.

Great neighborhood and stay!

The neighborhood is great, quiet and close to many things. I liked that the bedrooms were all in one side of the home and the backyard was perfect to hang out with everyone. We had some issues with the fridge but Kush responded quickly and helped us troubleshoot. I was happy we were allowed to do early check-in and we were accommodated! Kitchen was nicely supplied with all the essentials. One thing however, I would just make sure that any pool/hot tub maintenance gets done prior to guest arrival or at least give the guests a heads up because on our second day there we were all hanging outside when a random guy came into the backyard to clean the jacuzzi. I had to make sure it was for the property, but it did cause some awkwardness and discomfort with everyone for the time he was there. Overall, would recommend.

House is great, Yard need work

The house was clean and nice. I would rate the interior a 4.. it was comfortable and clean. It has a nice little bar area with a small refrigerator just off the dining area. The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Just a note, there were no wash rags, kitchen towels or dishrags so bring your own. The biggest determent to the property is the lawn care. The back yard could be great with a little TLC. While we were there, the lawn care company cut the front yard and only a third of the back yard. After they left most of the back yard was uncut and had weeds about a foot tall. I sent the property owner a note and the owner thanked me and said they would look into it. I assume they will get this corrected but it would be worth you asking the question. Get the TLC back in the yard and the place would be very nice.

Ok stay

House listing isn’t as charming and fun as it looks online. All outdoor amenities were either broken or unusable which was a big bummer because that’s why we booked this location. Fire pit was out of propane, all 4 chairs were completely broken. Pool was usable (but doesn’t look desirable to swim in) hot tub wasn’t working, patio area had a broken umbrella, full of weeds that were pretty over grown so it wasn’t inviting to have a BBQ. No wash rags available for showering, had to go buy our own. When we arrived at 3am due to flight delays, there was no bed for one of our guests. She had to sleep on the couch. Listing does not state that one of the beds is a mattress on the floor in the living room, which was not accessible to us. It was locked up in the cleaning closet. The other beds were comfortable and clean. But bring your own pillow, the pillows were so flat that we had a hard time sleeping. Overall I would not recommend this property unfortunately. We spent our trip trying to make things right rather than having all that taken care of before we arrived. We really wanted to live this location because it has a lot of potential, but just wasn’t up to par for guests to come and enjoy.
