Manzanita Beach, a quaint coastal town nestled between the beautiful Short Sands Beach of Oswald West State Park and Nehalem Bay, is our family's refuge from daily life. In our 5 bedroom home with a great room and chef's kitchen, we are free to sprawl and relax on our own or cozy in together for board games and meals. If reading or work is on the agenda the library/office upstairs is perfect for perusing and privacy. When you are ready to relax, enjoy the hot tub under the stars.

Manzanita is a very family-friendly town! Our kids love to explore the main street and go shopping

From Manzanita:
-to the beautiful 11-mile stretch of sand is a five-minute walk
-to Laneda Avenue (main street), which is dotted with coffee, candy, and souvenir shops, restaurants, and an art gallery is just steps away.
-Short Sands - 8 minute drive, then a 10 minute walk
Nehalem Bay 5-10 minutes away
Cannon Beach - less than 20 minutes away

Our home is built for families and large gatherings. Our great room allows people to break off into smaller groups, but still all be together. For those who need some quiet time, either to work or rest, we have a library upstairs with a desk, comfy chair and ottoman, and lots of books! Board games abound - we love playing together! - and vary for different age groups. If you feel like relaxing outside, have a seat or soak in the hot tub while those young at heart play some good old fashioned corn hole. For those who love to cook, we have stocked the kitchen with all the tools we enjoy using to cook our own meals. And, don't forget, there is a Solo Pizza oven in the garage if you feel up for some homemade pizza making adventures. And last, but certainly not for the least, we have toys for your little ones, as well as a portable crib, high chair, and toilet training seats.

Pets are not allowed at this time. There will be a $1,000 fine for violating this policy and will be cause for immediate removal. Due to allergies of the owners and potentially other guests, this is a firm restriction.

PARKING - IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

There are 3 parking spots total: one in garage and two on the driveway. If overflow is needed, ONE car may be parked on Merton Ln (NOT on or along the asphalt "T" in front of our house.)

If extra parking is needed, cars may be parked in front of the Manzanita Police Department on 165 5th Street South.

Any violation of these rules will void any rental agreement and will result in immediate removal from the premise.

The city is very strict about parking; we appreciate your understanding.
