The luxurious modern beach cottage is ready to welcome you for an unforgettable stay. The shops and restaurants of downtown Manzanita and the family-friendly city park are within easy walking distance.

The KITESURFER COTTAGE is composed of two structures and tied together beautifully by a covered solarium courtyard. The front cottage features an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, and living room spaces along with 2 bedrooms with queen beds and luxurious bedding. Two bathrooms feature tile showers stocked with comfy towels and luxurious robes. The main bathroom has a small one-person soaker tub to enjoy after a day spent frolicking at the beach. Hot water from an in-line heater is endless. The entertainer’s kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and crisp, clean subway tile on the walls. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a KitchenAid mixer & accessories, Instant Pot & accessories, waffle maker, electric kettle, microwave, toaster oven, and all of the accessories needed to create memorable meals at the beach for family and friends. The front cottage has gorgeous black tile floor with radiant heat to keep you warm and cozy on chilly mornings along with a majestic wood-burning fireplace with stone façade.

The back cottage houses a private primary suite (above the kids’ quarter) which has a second-story view of the beach and Neahkahnie Mountain, a luxurious King size bed, an en suite bathroom (no tub), and a wet bar. The Primary Suite opens to a 23’ x 12’ stunning deck with a hot tub and magnificent views. The kids’ quarter (below the Primary Suite) sleeps 6 with a King and 2 twin beds, each with a trundle for 4 twin beds total. It has a large HD television with a Nintendo Switch and an adjacent half-bathroom.

A partially enclosed and covered solarium courtyard connects the front and back cottages. This space has a beautiful black slate gas fireplace, a large dining table seating 12, and Adirondack chairs to cozy up to the fireplace on cold or rainy days. There is a large stainless-steel sink and counter to prepare your meals, and a propane grill for your outdoor cooking needs. It is the perfect outdoor room for family entertaining! Just around the corner is an outdoor shower to wash off the sand after playing on the beach.

The KITESURFER COTTAGE is equipped with all the modern technological standards. High speed Wi-Fi, high-definition TVs with cable, and portable Wi-Fi speakers. For your convenience, the kids’ quarter has a Nintendo Switch. A large capacity washing machine and two dryers are available for your use. Additionally, there is an electric car charger available in the driveway.

Come and watch the colorful sails of kite surfers from the picture windows or unwind with a glass of wine in Adirondack chairs on the deck as you watch the tranquil seagrass sway in the wind on the dunes in front of this bright and airy home. The gorgeous 7.5 mile Manzanita Beach lies just over the dunes only steps away. A stroll down Manzanita’s charming Laneda Avenue is just one block away, where you can visit any of the restaurants serving delicious cuisine from gourmet breakfast and lunch specialties to a lively pub, high-end bistros and wine and whiskey bars. A small grocery store conveniently provides all the basics just a quick walk from the property. Stop in at the Visitor’s Center to learn about all the activities taking place in and around town during your stay or visit any of the several artisan and boutique shops.

The towns of Nehalem and Wheeler are also nearby, offering additional dining options, delightful shops, and river and boating access. Or choose to explore Oswald West State Park or Nehalem Bay State Park which offer year-round biking, hiking, and fishing opportunities. Please note: 1) Bookings are available up to 12 months in advance . We have a 5-night minimum stay during holidays and a 7-night minimum stay during peak summer season (summer bookings are available from Sunday to Sunday). A 4-day minimum booking is requested during the off-season. 2.) A maximum of two well-behaved dogs of all breeds and sizes will be accepted with approval from the property manager, and an additional fee of $25/night will be added to the stay. All dogs must be over 1 year in age, and a pet addendum will be sent to the guest for completion during the approval process.
