Hermosa casa privada en un vecindario tranquilo, a solo unos minutos a pie de la playa o del pintoresco centro de Manzanita, es perfecta para grandes reuniones o privacidad.

Disfrute de familiares y amigos en esta alegre decoración única en un espacio abierto de vida / comedor con techos abovedados. Una pared de ventanas deja entrar la luz o da una vista de las tormentas de invierno. Cocina totalmente equipada, con una pequeña cocina adicional, todo lo que necesita para cocinar y entretener a un grupo grande.

El área de abajo de 2 dormitorios, lavandería y sala de estar / sala de juegos con una cómoda sección que se convierte en una cama king size, hace que esta casa sea perfecta para dos familias o un poco de privacidad adicional. La planta baja tiene una mesa de futbolín, TV de pantalla grande con cable y una Xbox 360 con juegos. El segundo maestro en el nivel inferior que tiene su propio baño y acceso externo al patio privado para usar el spa.

Arriba, además de las salas de estar y comedor llenas de luz, hay dos habitaciones espaciosas; una es una lujosa suite principal con baño privado adjunto, armarios dobles y una sala de estar. El otro, con su decoración caprichosa, está al final del pasillo para brindar privacidad a los adultos o espacio para que los niños jueguen y hagan algo de ruido.

Great vaca in lovely Manzanita. Love the house for the most part. Lay out is a little funky in the basement - access to the only bathroom downstairs is through the fourth bedroom. The mattress in this fourth room needs to be replaced - my wife and I found ourselves sinking into the middle of it - reasonable I suppose for one person but definitely uncomfortable for two

Great house for large family

We did not get to use all of the perks of this house--the ping pong table and hot tub looked fun, but we had just as much fun playing games and walking around town. Manzanita is such a cute town with just enough to do and minimal crowds. Wish the downstairs bathroom was not in the bedroom, but other than that, the layout was great and lots of bedrooms and hang out space in living room/ kitchen. Other great things were deck which was great to hang out on and a well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again if we had a large group in Manzanita!

Blessed retreat

This was our fourth year coming to this gorgeous house. It was squeaky clean immaculate. It’s bright, warm, welcoming, with great art. It easily supported the four of us and the two dogs with a great kitchen, wonderful family room, just blocks away from the ocean. We will be coming back again next year.

Perfect & Thoughtful

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this beautiful home! The property is bright, colorful, and thoughtfully designed with every detail in mind. It’s clear the hosts have put a lot of care into ensuring all the essentials are covered, and we appreciated how well-stocked the home was.What really stood out to us was how family-friendly it is—there were toys, games, and activities for kids of all ages, from toddlers up to teenagers! It made the stay even more enjoyable for our family.The location is unbeatable—just a couple of blocks to the beach and within walking distance to town, so everything was super convenient. Whether you're looking to relax at the beach or explore the local shops and restaurants, this place has the perfect balance of accessibility and comfort.We will definitely be back! Manzanita Va-ca!

Spacious accommodations near the beach provided an exceptional experience for my family. Communication with host was rapid and helpful. Manzanita is a cute coastal town; the beach was beautiful and dog friendly. Walking for hours is a great adventure! Highly recommend this house.

Fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay here for a week. The house is well set up for an extended family group with several bathrooms and a separate living area in the basement. The hot tub is a treat and it's an easy walk to the beach and town. Lots of fun games, toys, and a well appointed kitchen. Brenda was easy to communicate with. We'd love to make it a tradition and stay here again.

Great two family option

We stayed in the house with another family (four adults, four kids) and there was space for all. The house was well stocked and the kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong tables. Easy walk to the beach with a wagon provided in the garage (and beach chairs which we appreciated). Main Street was a short walk as well. Thank you for a great week at the beach.

Perfect Manzanita Getaway

We loved staying in the Mermaid House! There were 6 of us + a pup and we had the perfect amount of space (4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms). The kitchen was well stocked which allowed us to make delicious meals and treats both inside and outside on the grill. The hot tub was a huge added bonus and work great. I would love to stay here again!

Beach Getaway

Getting to stay at Brenda's house for our beach getaway made for such a magical weekend. Our kids really loved the toy cars and the adults really enjoyed the open spaces and hanging out in the hot tub after the kids were in bed. Much love to Brenda for sharing such a great place.

Nice Place for a Large Group

Nice property for a large group near the beach. Hot tub worked. My only feedback is the queen bed downstairs could use a mattress upgrade.

Perfect family getaway

This beautiful, well maintained and well equipped house is perfect for us, as we all have our own spaces, and we have artistic, airy, shared spaces to come together. The beach is right down the road, town is a short walk, and a clean, quiet refuge to begin and end the day of adventure. I'm grateful we found such a perfect place for our annual family visit to Manzanita.

World Wind. (WW)

WW was one of the nicest VBROs that we’ve stayed at. Fantastic kitchen, spacious rooms, marvelous selection of games, beautiful decor and wonderful hot tub. There were plenty of things to take to the beach. Thank you for a special place to celebrate family time.

My partner Dave and I are both native to the Northwest and currently live in Portland. I am a Artist, Realtor and a Portland native, and Dave is a semi-retired commercial fisherman and marine electrician from Alaska.. so of course he loves the coast. We like to buy and fix up properties and have some other rentals in Portland, so it made sense to us to rent out our beach house to help cover the cost of owning a vacation home. Since we began to offer our home as a short-term rental in Manzanita, we have enjoyed the experience of sharing this little piece of Oregon paradise.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

One of our favorite things about our beach home is the location. We love Manzanita. It isn't as touristy as many beach towns, but there are enough shops and restaurants to entertain us and everyone is friendly. The little grocery store in the middle of town seems to have everything and the Sand Dune pub often has excellent food and live music (and they let dogs come through to sit on the back deck). The open stretch of beach is amazing and protected from the wind and weather somewhat by nearby Neakahnie Mountain, but we still get enough wind to attract Kiteboarders on some afternoons. Speaking of mountains, the trailhead is only 5 minutes away and we enjoy hiking to the top for exercise and taking in the amazing view. We love to crab/fish in Nehalem Bay, bike/walk at the nearby state park or head 20 minutes North to watch the surfers at Oswald West State park and explore the caves. Another favorite past time is antique shopping in Wheeler just 10 minutes south, or collecting driftwood and mussels at Manahattan Beach wayside near Rockaway about 20 minutes south. We love the privacy and quiet our home offers too for the times we just want to hang out and relax. I don't think we've ever come here and not enjoyed ourselves.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

With the warmth inside and set back in the trees, a few blocks from the beach, the storm can be raging and you'll feel safe and warm. With the bright decor you are uplifted, even on the gloomiest days. On sunny days you can catch rays on the private back deck and hardly know the wind is blowing or that nearby neighbors even exist. It is a second home for us, not just a vacation rental and we think this feeling of 'home' will shine through, from the decor to the books, games, kids toys and well stocked kitchen, you'll have everything you need to snuggle in and feel comfortable.
