We were in town for a wedding. This home was very comfortable and cozy. The outdoor seating areas were so lovely - we saw Deer right outside of the back deck on the golf course. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathrooms were fantastic - two full size bathrooms and 2 large bedrooms accomodated privacy for us all.

The kitchen had most items needed for your stay, if doing any cooking. The cottage is clean, quiet and comfortable. We will keep coming here for as long as we can! We always enjoy our stay.

Communicating with the hosts was very easy. Our arrival was like clockwork. The property was very welcoming, clean and very comfortable. We didn't cook but the kitchen was well equipped with nice appliances and everything you need. The beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the deck was a bonus to have morning tea and wine in the evening. Our dog was right at home in the cottage. We had the beauty of the Ozarks, trails and fishing at nearby Ha Ha Tonka. The city of Camdenton is close and has shopping/restaurants if needed. It was a perfect get a way! Thanks to our hosts!

Absolutely lovely place and would definitely recommend it. At the last minute we needed to bring our dog Meg. This change was not an issue with the owner and had us feeling very relieved. Also, the beds are comfortable which is a huge plus. My Husband felt secure leaving his motorcycle trailer parked in front of the cottage and said this was hands down the best place we have ever stayed.

This cottage at Old Kinderhook has it all. We spent a weekend here visiting friends who live in the area. We had plenty of space for the four of us between the two large bedrooms with their own full bathroom. Everything you could want or need was provided. Communication with owners was fantastic. We would absolutely stay again!

The cottage was just as described and matched the photos. Very clean. The place was well maintained and well stocked. The furniture was very high quality and the hosts had included several additional items that made for a wonderful stay. Communication was excellent and entry was simple. The cottage was perfect for our family of four. The cottage was very clean and well maintained. The location on the property was convenient to everything at the resort. The property owner was quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely return to this same property again.

Beautiful cottage and location!

This was a beautiful cottage overlooking the golf course at Old Kinderhook! It was clean, quiet and very spacious. The host was very responsive and wonderful to work with. We also enjoyed the pool, the Trophy Room restaurant, and the beautiful scenery. We would definitely stay here again!

A great home base

Our booking process and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The cottage was comfortable, quiet, and convenient to all the activities we needed at the lake. We loved the porch and location on the course. Beds were comfy, and kitchen had the essentials needed for a great stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little cottage on the golf course.

Enjoyed our stay at this cottage while in town for the Youth World Series. We had a total of 3 houses and 5 cottages. Old Kinderhook resort and neighborhood were beautiful. Excellent (tough) golf course. Our team enjoyed the pool and playing pickleball/basketball on the courts. The Trophy Room was very accommodating for our large group and showing the LSU games during the College World Series.

Great stay at Old Kinderhook

Our stay at the cottage was fantastic. We were all very comfortable both inside and outside the property, and we loved the large wrap-around porch that had plenty of chairs and a table for cocktails. If you have never played at Old Kinderhook I definitely recommend it, and also staying at this property. Thank you!

Owners are Dan and Diane Kemna, who were born and raised in Mid-Missouri. After working long hard hours running a successful business for almost 20 years, they have recently sold out, but rather than retire they have settled into the hospitality business with a handful of properties. They can often be found in the stands cheering on local schools at volleyball matches, tennis matches, track meets, and football games.

Old Kinderhook has long been a favorite golf course of Dan's, a beautiful place to take a walk for Diane, and our children really enjoy the winter ice skating rink. It's a special place to visit in all seasons.

This quiet side of the Lake in the Niangua Arm tributary is a beautiful destination year round. It's a great place to take a stroll, enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and Missouri boasts some of the best State Parks and hiking. Check out Ha Ha Tonka State Park nearby, or rent a boat and enjoy a day on the water.
