Historic Central Renovated Modern and Spacious Stone House with Mt. Shasta Views

The Big Stone House is amazing! Since the house can also be rented as two separate spaces, it has 2 kitchens and 2 living areas. The dining table in the front of the house is large to accommodate your whole group. If you have a larger group or are looking to house many members of a retreat, you can also rent the 2 bedroom/1 bathroom Stone Cottage on the property. Ask me for more details.

Downstairs you will find 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, and 1 Full), 2 full bathrooms with showers only, a fully equipped kitchen, living, and dining area. There are two entrances- one in front and one in back. Out the back door is a patio that is shared with the Cottage next door.

There is one Queen bedroom upstairs, a half bath, and an additional sleeping/lounging area with a single daybed. The linens for the day bed are stored in the cubbies at the base of the bed. Use it as an additional lounge area or as an additional sleeping option. There is also a kitchen, living room, and patio with a small cafe table with 2 chairs on the balcony on the upper floor.

If you have kids, there is a baby gate you can place at the top of the stairs for safety located in the closet around the corner from the stair landing. We also have installed safety bars over the high windows.

Be aware that to get to the upstairs from the front of the house, you must pass through the downstairs King bedroom or walk around to the back exit door.

We provide all the amenities you need for your stay: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel, cotton balls, Q tips, a hair dryer etc for the bathroom. We also provide the kitchen basics like olive oil, salt and pepper, ground coffee, and creamers. It's a drip coffee maker.

There are 2 gas BBQs for your use- one on the shared back patio and one upstairs on the porch outside the kitchen area. Please note the old brick grill is just for show- please do not use it!

There is ample parking off street and the house gets 2 off-street parking spots. You may be able to park 4 cars off street if you stack them. There is also off-street parking as long as winter snow removal is not an issue.

The epic Mt. Shasta view is reason enough to stay here, but you will also be so comfortable in the upscale bedrooms that have luxury beds and linens and bedside lamps with USB chargers.
