Thank you, Jane and Les, for your review and for choosing to stay with us for an extended visit. We strive to provide a comfortable and memorable experience for every guest. While a few unexpected maintenance items arose during your stay, we’re grateful that our property manager was able to respond quickly and resolve them promptly. In a tropical setting, occasional equipment repairs — such as appliance components or gate motors — can happen despite regular maintenance. We address these matters immediately to minimize any disruption. We’re also pleased that our backup systems ensured continuity during a brief water line issue and a short power interruption in the area . Having contingency systems in place is part of how we prepare for life in the rainforest. Our home reflects the authentic character of Costa Rica — thoughtfully updated and well maintained while preserving the charm of its natural surroundings. The rainforest setting is part of what makes this property so special, and we are committed to keeping the home meticulously cared for year-round. As noted in our listing & welcome guide, a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for mountain roads in this region. While much of the drive is paved, the final stretch includes a typical Costa Rican gravel road that is periodically maintained but can be uneven at times — part of the adventure of staying in such a beautiful, private setting. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay.
