Paseos Little Sister by Velo
Summary:
A historic Adobe for 4 guests located 1.5 miles from the plaza. Situated on the main road between Taos (5 mins) and Taos ski valley (26 mins), right across from the world famous Orlando’s, this location cannot be beat! This is also 6 mins to Taos Pueblo. Central heat/ac = rare in Taos!
Note that because the building is close to 100 years old, there are some quirky characteristics - the floors are slightly uneven. This used to be a speakeasy!
The Space:
BEDROOM: This bedroom has a queen sized bed with 14 inch memory foam green tea mattress, nightstands, a dresser for your clothes, a smart TV, and a full length mirror. The bedroom furniture was handcarved by local artisans here in Taos with wood imported from Mexico!
LIVING ROOM: we have a twin-sized daybed here with a pull out twin trundle. We also have a large sofa that can seat at least 5 people comfortably and a 65" smart TV that allows you to watch your favorite shows.
KITCHEN: The kitchen is equipped with everything to make a meal, including a large variety of spices and tea/coffee. We supply both single cup coffee maker as well as a larger coffee maker so you can make either a cup or a pot of coffee. We also supply pots and pans, oil and condiments, tupperware, cups/glasses/dishware, baking pans, etc. The stainless steel appliances are relatively brand new from 2019.
BATHROOM: we supply basic shampoo, soaps, conditioner, and body wash. Please let us know if you are out of one of these! The shower is a walk-in shower.
NOTE: This is a 100+-year-old building. Quirks and imperfections will be apparent despite the recent remodeling.

This is a DUPLEX (back unit) does have a shared wall with the front unit of the duplex.
This is also a building over a century old with quirks in it! There will be imperfections in the building even though it's newly remodeled. Fun fact: this used to be a speakeasy way back in the day

Other Things to Note:
Our software automatically discounts 10% for weekly stays and 20% for monthly stays and our posted prices is our best price, so please do not message us asking for a "special discounted rate."
The locks, the cleaners and our maintenance personnel all work on an automated schedules based on our published check-in time and check out times. In addition, we only have a narrow 5 hour window to prepare the property between the posted checkout time and the posted check-in time. For these reasons early check in or late checkout is no longer free and "may" be able to be purchased at a rate of $20/hour prior to check-in time, or $20/hour after listed checkout time.
We accept dogs not cats for an additional $120 nonrefundable pet fee
If there are any issues during your stay, please contact the host and give them the opportunity to address any issues before leaving a negative review or asking for a discounted stay.
We no longer make exceptions to the published cancellation policy for any reason so if you want to be extra safe should you need to cancel, please purchase trip insurance.
