New 3 BR+/3 Bath House close to Ski Areas & Woodstock. Trails, Pastures & Views

New Bridgewater house (2023) on 75 acres with stunning views and walking and hiking trails in pastures and woods. The property is located close to 3 ski resorts (Killington, Saskadena 6 and Okemo) and the beautiful quintessential Vermont town of Woodstock. Enjoy a day of winter sports and come home to the 3 queen bedrooms + alcove with 2 twins, 3 full baths, and open kitchen, dining and living area. Relax on the front porch with a beverage and view of Old Baldy Mountain. Go sledding on the slopes outside the house or create your own x-country or snowshoe trails across the pastures and into the woods. Radiant heated floors on the 1st floor, propane stove in LR and all new appliances. Baseboard heat upstairs and mini-splits in the bedrooms and main living area for added heat if needed. One car garage with driveway plowing provided. Located on a paved road approximately 1/2 mile from US Route 4 and the Bridgewater Mill. Fiber optic Wi-Fi with plenty of streaming options. Original 1850 farmhouse on property is occupied by our daughter and family. She is available to assist guests with any issues, activity and food recommendations, etc. Her husband is an executive chef who can provide special meals if prearranged.

Perfect Winter Getaway

We loved our stay at this lovely modern farmhouse. The house had so many amenities our family had a wonderful time in this immaculate house. We loved the view of the snowy mountain out the front door and the heated floors. The house was spacious and peaceful. There was a snowstorm during our stay and the owners had the plowed the driveway before we were ready to hit the slopes in the morning. It was nice to be able to park our truck in the garage and we were just a few miles from the Killington slopes. Also, a nice little pizza place just down the hill and a fun brewery a few miles down the road. This was a perfect house for our winter getaway. I would definitely recommend this house for families or multiple couples. Very spacious.

Beautiful home and wonderful location

My family had a wonderful stay! It was perfect for our crew with each of the 3 bedrooms having their own bathroom and the twin bed alcove was perfect for our kids because of the accompanying play area. The house was well stocked and very clean. We would love to book again!

Blown Away!

Communication leading up to and during our stay was great, which helped us better prepare for, and enjoy our stay. We had early check-in and late checkout (only because there wasn't anyone checking out/in before/after our group. The house is stunning and the pictures do not do this place justice! It is brand new and there was plenty of space for our group to relax and for the kids to play comfortably! The radiant floor heating on the first floor was awesome, and each bedroom and the living area also had minisplit units, which allows everyone the flexibility to control the temp in their room. The amenities are top notch. Kitchen and pantry are fully stocked with utensils, appliances, etc. Bathrooms had plenty of towels, body wash, shampoo, and lotion. One bathroom even had a fancy electric toilet! The three queen beds are all adjustable firmness mattresses and the linens and pillows were very comfy. The bedrooms also all have blackout blinds! They allowed us to use their sleds and snow shoes to enjoy the snow, since we weren't comfortable driving to the mountain in 2ft of snow. They even had toys in the loft area for our kids to play with. Note: It is listed as a four bedrooms but the fourth bedroom with twin beds is actually a loft; HOWEVER, there's a door at the bottom of the stairs to close off the upstairs & loft from the living area and there's a safety gate at the top of the stairs. ~20 mins to Killington restaurants & Snowshed/Ramshead/K1 base areas

Great house for ski getaway

One of the best rental homes I've stayed in. The house is brand new with large rooms, plenty of space, high end appliances, nice comfortable furniture and all amenities you could ask for. Having a garage for parking was a plus! Only 15 min from Killington in the great little town of Bridgewater with a few breweries/restaurant options. Donald thought of everything and was very responsive to inquiries in advance (nothing was wrong so no need to contact him during our stay). I will absolutely rent this house again on my next Killington ski trip!

The house was beautiful and perfect for skiing at Killington, snowshoeing on the property, and sledding down the hills! The house was spotless and fully equipped with everything that was needed. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful house, great location

Don and Annie’s home exceeded all expectations. Communication from the very beginning was quick and Don was very accommodating. The property is beautiful, spacious, clean and welcoming. All the amenities needed were provided and then some! The location was perfect, only 10 minutes from Killington Ski Resort. Overall, it was a fantastic stay for my family and I. Looking forward to a return visit. Thank you!

Stunning stay a stone’s throw from Killington

House was absolutely stunning as was the property. Everything was exactly as described. The house is well appointed with towels, linens and a beautiful well stocked kitchen. We used the house as a base for a ski weekend at Killington Mountain which was less than 20 minutes away. The owner was very communicative and helpful with anything we needed! We would not hesitate to stay here again!

We moved to Bridgewater in 2020 after living on the coat of SC near Charleston. We love our new community, the visual beauty, topography and our proximity to Woodstock, ski slopes, outdoor recreation and great schools for our grandchildren. We are planning a legacy property for generations to come. We still plan to go south in winter and want others to be ble to enjoy our VT winters.
