With lake access, amazing views, and an array of amenities, this Lake Rescue getaway is your perfect home away from home. The large, open kitchen, well-equipped with stainless steel appliances, provides ample meal prep space for the chef for your group. You can all gather around the home's large dining table and enjoy home-cooked meals. After stepping into this spacious home, you'll be greeted with an open, light-filled interior. Curl up next to the wood-burning fireplace or enjoy a movie night on the plush furniture.

Outside, you can swim, or just kick back and look out over Lake Rescue. Explore Lake Rescue with one of the three kayaks available. There is even an outdoor firepit where you can stay warm as the stars come out overhead.Nearby Lake Rescue is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Fantastic for the avid skier and snowboarder, Okemo Mountain Resort is just five miles south. And for hiking and beautiful scenery, Camp Plymouth State Park is also just a short drive away, so don't forget your cameras!

A luxurious “treehouse”. Beautifully designed. Everything worked. Everything clean and comfortable. The management company “First Chair” (a skier’s term) was quiet and dependable like a Swiss Clock. Our deepest and sincere thanks to the host and to First Chair for accepting us as guests!

Lovely Ludlow VT getaway

We enjoyed our time Lake Rescue for our 7th summer in a row (at least the third time at this property). The house is spacious and the beds are comfy. I recommend checking out local restaurants' Facebook pages to make sure they are open 😅 Our Lake Rescue Retreat at The Woods was so relaxing and we would highly recommend.

Great for a group

Came up for a wedding - but wish we had more time at the house. The morning view over the lake was restorative. The house is very well thought out and everything we could have needed was supplied.

Beautiful house

Hidden jewel. House is fully renovated and super clean. We stayed at 5 star hotels and they were not as clean has this house.

Beautiful Vacation Home.

Comfortable, Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Lake was beautiful, Kayaked, Watched and listened to the loons. Perfect distance to town for needs, not too far, not too close. One mile away from a locally owned and operated Sugar House with delicious creemees.

Beautiful Ski and Lake House

House is in a great location between Killington and Okemo, and situated right on the lake for warmer weather. It was extremely clean, had plenty of room for all, and in is great condition. Beautiful wood fireplace for relaxing next to after a day on the mountain. Would love to visit again.

We were looking for a nice, quiet, week away and we found it in this place. The lake view was beautiful and it was a quiet area. It is close to the street, but once you're inside, you cannot even tell. The kitchen was stocked with enough cookware, plates and silverware. It was a good location, and we were able to explore nearby towns with a lovely, scenic drive.The house is huge and has a ton of space to spread out between the three floors. Someone coule be enjoying tv downstairs, while another worked at a puzzle or crafts at the table, and another coule be reading upstairs. Our oldest really enjoyed the master and would sit and read every morning, with a beautiful view of the lake. Would definitely recommend this place!

Anniversary getaway

House was beautiful, just as pictured, and beds were super comfy! My husband was able to fish out back but also found some other great spots to go to. My only complaint would be there is only 1 tv in the house and its in the basement-otherwise, stay was great! We plan on coming back for sure!

Beautiful home, close to the slopes!

We stayed here over MLK weekend 2025 for a ski trip. We had 2 families of 4 and there was plenty of room for all 8 people. The house was super-clean and each person said their bed was comfortable. The owners even supplied firewood for us to burn. Okemo was a 5 minute drive which was ideal for us. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful home

This home was absolutely beautiful inside and out!! The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and had soaps, towels, hair dryers. Anything you needed! Very accommodating!! We all loved it!

Very clean, well-furnished house close to Okemo

Best bedding in a rental we have had. House was extremely clean. We did have heat issues the entire weekend, but guest services worked with us to get that made right.

Very Nice

Stayed with friends at several places and this property I thought was by far the nicest. Very clean and we had plenty of room. We did have trouble getting in the door but we called and we were able to get inside.
