Enjoy Fishing? Boating? or just relaxing by the water? Our place (BBGetaway as we affectionately call it – aka Bonneau Beach Getaway) is located on a quiet protected cove on Lake Moultrie which is the third largest lake (more than 60,000 acres) in SC. About 200 yards up the cove from the “big water” of Lake Moultrie, our place is protected from the winds and rough water found on Lake Moultrie's deeper water by a narrow peninsula of woods. Our location is ideal for launching and mooring your boat or jetskis at our private dock , kayaking or enjoying time on the dock whether to fish or just relax. We are just a minute or two to the “big water” but you will have the close convenience of our boat ramp/landing, dock and fish cleaning station. We have been able to fish from our dock or launch and reload our boats when the winds on the “big water” would be too high and too rough to allow that. We have even fished in the cove from our kayaks or our small Pelican Bass raider pontoon when the big water was white capping. Truly, we have the best of both lake worlds – quick access to the deeper water and yet calmer water in our cove.

THE CABIN:
Our fishing cabin themed lakehouse has an open concept floorplan with the living area open to the kitchen and dining areas. Adjacent to the living room is an all glass sunroom where you will be able to take in some gorgeous views of the birds and wildlife in the cove. With 2 bedrooms that include a queen bed in one room and two full size beds in the other, our cabin can easily accommodate six guests on nice, comfortable beds. There is one bathroom which has a shower, one sink and toilet. The cabin has central air for heating/cooling as well as a separate mini-split unit for the sunroom. The kitchen is spacious with a nice free standing island, electric stove, refrigerator with icemaker (second refrigerator downstairs) and dishwasher. All the lower cabinets have pull-outs so you will have an easy time reaching the cookware and other kitchen items. Everything you need to prepare a meal is there – whether you want to cook a gourmet meal or just make some quick sandwiches – you're covered. And don't worry about having to carry all your “stuff” up the stairs because we have a motorized “cargo” lift (similar to an elevator) to make light of getting things upstairs. We do not have land line phone service so you will need to bring a working cell phone. We have internet service and “smart” tvs however we do not have cable tv. You will need to “stream” your preferred viewing options.
Starter supplies of paper products are provided. Additionally, bed linens and bath towels are provided. We do not supply beach towels. We do not supply fishing tackle.

DOWNSTAIRS/UTILITY/LAUNDRY: The underneath portion of our cabin is ideal for parking your vehicle or fishing boat (be mindful of height limit) or just sitting and enjoying some lake breezes. You'll find the utility room downstairs which is where the laundry equipment is located as well as an extra refrigerator for your convenience. You are welcome to use the washer and dryer but please do not overload.

While our full kitchen has about anything (well....not the food itself) you might need to prepare a scrumptious meal, Bonneau does have a couple restaurants close by as well as a small convenience store (they sell bait too). And with Moncks Corner only 10 minutes away, you have even more choices for dining / shopping.

If you desire a quiet, relaxing getaway on the water or some serious fishing or boating time, our BBGetaway is where you will want to be.
