Family Stay
I had a fantastic stay while in Monks Corner SC. The home was beautifully decorated and very accommodating for a large family. The host was extremely welcoming and made sure all of my needs were met. I especially loved the comfortable outdoor gazebo, deck and the stunning views of the country side. I would highly recommend this home
to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay."

Father’s Day 2024
Loved this stay! A great price for the spacious home and its convenience to town. The decor was beautifully done and the outdoor patio area was a plus. The beds were comfy and each bedroom having its own ensuite was great!The owner was GREAT, very responsive with the one call and checked in later to make sure all was worked out. Even came out on Sunday evening to put the trash out.Very close to family, so we look forward to reserving again!

While the place had character which originally drew us to the location as well as how close it was to our wedding location. The location was a bit hard to find but the owner was the very helpful in helping to redirect. Upon first driving into the location, lawn was noticeably not manicured while lovely plants lined the walkway it was also unkempt this would be the same for the back of the property. All benches were dirty and one unusable. To get into the property the keypad and code would not work, even while on phone with owner and given new code we could not get into property. Owner had to open garage door via phone and directed us to use keys that were located in the lock of the garage door leading into the home. Finding that had we not had issue with the front door we would have never know that there was access for anyone to open the garage door from the outside to enter property while we were in the home. This is a huge safety issue. We felt unsafe for 2 women alone.The consensus was that the furniture and place looked thrown together with whatever furniture they had. Kitchen while counters appeared clean the baseboard which are very visible were dirty giving the appearance as though no one had recently been on the property to clean it. The first night while eating at the breakfast bar (takeout) there were fruit flies everywhere. Overwhelming the kitchen sink area. Upon closer inspection it appeared as though they were collecting around the drain.

Thanks for your feedback. We’ll review the cleaning details with our team and make sure everything, including the garbage disposal, is checked thoroughly. The lawn and outdoor swing are maintained weekly, though the rain that week made it tricky. We’re glad we could assist with access right away and will keep working to make things clearer and more convenient for future guests.
