Glad to hear you loved the location and unit, Nicholas! The unit just underwent a major remodel in all the bathrooms and the upstairs bedrooms and the owner is going to continue that project in the off season. Certainly one of the best amenities this home offers is the wonderful deck and dock overlooking the channel. There's plenty of seating for even the largest of families to relax and watch the boats and frequent dolphin sightings! I will make note about your suggestion for more updates and relay to the owner but I do believe she plans to upgrade the kitchen next. Glad to hear you enjoyed the Hawes Place unit, John! One of the best aspects of the home is the backyard with the two large deck areas, dock, and yard! We rely on guest feedback to suggest upgrades to our owners so thank you for your feedback, and I will make note of it all to pass on. I will send maintenance out to address the ice maker but the garbage disposal and hood vent issues have since been corrected. The property owner just gutted and remodeled all the bathrooms and installed new carpeting so appliance upgrades may not be in the near future, however I believe she is planning a kitchen reno sometime next off season which may replace those appliances. Sorry to hear about that parking ticket - the town of WB is quite brutal with ticketing, I've had my fair share as well. Always make sure you use those passes we provide in your packet and parking will be a breeze. Thank you again for all your feedback and I hope we will see you renting with us again soon!

Sorry to hear that, Olivia. Hawes Place just underwent a three and a half day spring clean where every item was thoroughly cleaned, including full carpet and upholstery cleaning, and an in depth closet and kitchen organization. Unfortunately, you snuck in an unauthorized dog to the property and per our contract you signed, we charged you for that violation including a security deposit for the undisclosed event and falsified occupancy you provided. We are employed by the property owners to ensure their homes are taken care of to their detailed specifications and that the tenants occupying their properties are following clear contractual obligations, that you did not respect. We are sorry you had a bad experience with us but we were simply responding to the violations you presented. We allowed you a free early check in at 12:21 in the afternoon which is four hours earlier than your guaranteed time but unfortunately that good start was tainted by your oversight of our contract and deep neglect for the homeowner's strict no pets allowed and only renting to family groups policy. Had you considered the reality of why a homeowner would disallow pets, such as a severe pet allergy in a home they frequent, or a newly renovated home where they'd like to extend their investment, you would probably feel differently about them being "too sensitive" about you carelessly bringing an unauthorized dog into their home. In homes that are pet friendly, that pet fee that you conveniently avoided, helps cover the cost of pet wear and tear for carpet cleaning, maintenance, and extra laundering which is what that violation charge will be used for. I am sorry for the issues you experienced on your arrival, sounds like they are all quick fixes! Our maintenance was able to get the internet and cable back up and running that day - which is why there are signs in the first place to discourage guests from unplugging cords causing these issues. The owner has completely remodeled all the bathrooms, replaced carpets, and is on her way to remodeling the kitchen in the future so we are very excited for all the upgrades coming up at the Hawes property.
