Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented unit #242 for one week. Great experience, very comfortable and clean second-floor condo. All staff people were great, friendly and helpful. Close to beach, nice pools. Only suggestion for improvement would be having access to a hot tub.

Sunny Sanibel - Wonderful Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been vacationing on Sanibel Island for 15 years, this last visit was the first time we stayed at Sanibel Moorings. We wanted to bring our dog, and Sanibel Moorings was able to accommodate. We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit that was updated, clean and well stocked with everything you would need to cook your own meals. The property is like nothing else I've experienced on the island. The layout of the property and well cared for gardens truly made our stay a wonderfully unique experience. I enjoyed walking the pathways every day. There are sweet moments dotted throughout the property with fountains, sitting areas, hammocks. There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas for the beach; and on a cool windy day, the pool was the perfect retreat. We are so happy to have found Sanibel Moorings, and plan to stay there in the future with or without our pup.

We booked Sanibel Moorings on the recommendation of friends The rental was spacious and attractive. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking your own meals, thoug we we ate out most of the time. The grounds were beautiful and loved the “botanical Garden” labeling of the plants. The beach access was easy and the chairs, umbrellas etc were easily accessible. Loved that the island was more low key and less touristy than most beach destinations. We loved the Ding Darlings Wildlife Preserve, Great restaurants. Loved Doc Fords, Mucky Duck, T2 Bistro, Grandma Dot’s, and the Bubble Room was a hoot. We will be back to Sanibel and the Sanibel Moorings.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was a big disappointment. There were insects in the utensil drawer in the kitchen. The closet and the bathroom sliding doors were off the tracks and unusable. The couch has definitely seen better days. The most disappointing thing about the whole condo was the bed. There was a piece of plywood between the mattresses. Seriously!! If a mattress needs plywood for support, it is definitely time for a new mattress!! I can't imagine expecting someone to be comfortable with a bed in this condition. Pictures don't show this, nor was this disclosed, so once we booked this condo, we were out of other options. We loved Sanibel and plan to return in October, but we will be looking for a different place to stay. Way overpriced for the quality we received.

Great beach access

It was our first time visiting Sanibel island and so grateful we found Sanibel Moorings with beach access. It was so close! Public parking on Sanibel/Captiva is not easy so it was nice to not have to worry about it.

Relax

We were so concerned with which side of the road we were staying on to be closest to the beach. Next time, we're going to look at being on the other side of the road because it looks so nice. Every unit seems very close to the beach regardless of which side of the road you're on. Ubers and food delivery are scarce on the island, so I'd suggest investing in a golf cart for the week. No need for a rental car. The condos are very private and the nicest around, it seemed.
