Beautiful clean condo. Great location.

We love Sanibel Moorings and this condo was perfect. It is small, but super clean. It must have just been renovated as everything seemed fresh and new. I really enjoyed the landscaping around the complex. We need to travel to Fort Meyers frequently when we stay at Sanibel. Sanibel Moorings is great for this because we avoid a lot of the traffic issues on the island when staying here. We highly recommend this condo.

Clean Room - Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed here for 4 days and it was our first time in Sanibel. We really enjoyed where Sanibel Moorings was located and how close it was to the beach. The people that greeted us were also very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely come back.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sanibel Moorings is a nice resort with beautiful gardens, friendly staff and nice amenities. That said, we were very very disappointed in unit #1412. The HVAC system rattles when it is running and it was hard to get a good night’s sleep. The shower head dripped though maintenance did fix that. The worst problem was the filthy stained carpet. Gross! Emailed gen mgr but never heard back from her.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoy the area of Sanibel and the beach. The amenities of the pool, laundry and parking are nice features of Moorings. In general our room was nice, but it had a few things I would encourage the owner to update. 1) Carpet was stained and while very high quality had an appearance of being dingy. 2) Cabinets in the kitchen were peeling. The veneer was not holding up maybe in the climate to adhere to the cabinet wrap or whatever the material was used to cover. 3) The sound of the AC unit was loud in the bedroom - I believe the unit was right above the Bedroom and made a noise when it ran. I know those are critical elements but I believe would make the experience better.

A Great Place To Stay

This place has a lot to offer, from the botanical garden that weaves it’s way throughout the property to the dockside pool and of course the beach. This property has it all! We loved the colorful and artistic decor of our condo. The condo was very clean except the carpet that was very stained and a chair that needed cleaning, everything else was functional and met our needs. Over all, the property is managed well and the staff was very informative and helpful. They. Answered all of our questions and made us feel very much at home.

Sanibel Moorings was delightful, unit was very clean, and Rosy at reception was excellent throughout process and was especially nice to arrange an earlier check in (2pm), we truly appreciated it.
