Ubicado en la sección Crescent Beach de North Myrtle Beach, Xanadu I ofrece a los huéspedes una hermosa vista de la playa. El Xanadu D3 tiene una cocina totalmente equipada, una cómoda sala de estar con TV de pantalla plana grande, balcón con vista al mar, estacionamiento gratuito para 3 autos y WIFI gratuito.

El dormitorio principal tiene una cama King con un nuevo colchón firme, pisos de bambú nuevos, televisor de pantalla plana grande, baño privado y acceso al balcón frente al mar.
El segundo dormitorio también cuenta con una cama King con un nuevo colchón firme, NUEVO piso de bambú, TV de pantalla plana de 32 "y baño adjunto con ducha (también accesible desde el pasillo).
El tercer dormitorio tiene 2 camas individuales con colchones nuevos y firmes, televisor de pantalla plana y baño adjunto con combinación de bañera / ducha.

Propietario proporciona sillas de playa y sombrilla. Por favor, devuélvalo al condominio después de su uso, para que el próximo huésped también pueda disfrutar de este servicio.

Xanadu I cuenta con una espectacular piscina al aire libre y se encuentra a poca distancia en automóvil del área de Main Street, donde los huéspedes pueden comprar en las boutiques locales, cenar en varios restaurantes locales y disfrutar de un pequeño parque de diversiones (abierto desde el Día de los Caídos hasta el Día del Trabajo).

Layout of condo worked great for our family but some of the things in condo was really outdated and some things needed minor repairs. There was nothing really serious that would keep us from staying here again, but would like to see some of the minor repairs done.

We loved having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The beach chairs that are provided are not what I’d consider beach chairs. They’re bag chairs, more for camping. The bedroom that has the beach view was really warm at night. We had to buy a fan to help cool it down. We also loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. The washer is huge, so you can wash a lot at once. Overall, we liked the place. Some minor things missing that would be nice like more hooks in the bathrooms and out on the deck, more mats in the bedrooms and by the sliding door to help get the sand off your feet, and a keypad entry rather than a key. Otherwise, it was great!

OUTDATED! Furniture in living room so old and uncomfortable. The couch “moaned” when you sat on it. Kitchen table under glass appeared to not have been cleaned for years GROSS. The kitchen chair cushions appear to have never been cleaned. Had to force fridge door closed each time. Master bedroom furniture updated but everything else is from the 80’s. TV in living room had 5 lines of color running through screen and volume impossible to adjust. There was construction above us and it was causing popcorn ceiling to fall (we continued to clean this up every time they worked) and debris fell from master bath vent. Roaches. Absolutely loved the beach area and the location but will never rent unit this again. If you are looking at this rental I would Highly recommend looking for another rental. We travel to the area several times a year and this was by far our worst rental we have ever stayed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were disappointed in the rental. The 3rd bedroom shower was still a problem and we lost and entire day because of the plumbers. We never received a call from anyone saying the plumbers were coming. We don’t even know who contacted them. We think it was the neighbor below cause his kitchen had water pouring through the ceiling.They had to return 2 more times. The microwave was broken and taped shut. There was a small countertop model available. The internet was soooo slow and the tvs reception were not the best. Our beds were not made when arrived. The cleaning company left shrink wrapped bedding and towels for us to do ourselves. After driving all day to get there, I didn’t appreciate having to make 4 beds! This was supposed to be our vacation! The location was good.. we found clothing under one of the beds so we assume the cleaning company doesn’t clean under the beds.

Family Vacation 2022

The place is very nice. A little disappointed that one of the showers (in the kid's room) was not functional due to a leaky base (there was a note requesting it not be used). Overall, the place was clean and pretty much as it looks in the photos. The view from the balcony was splendid! Quick access to the beach was wonderful. Great vacation for us! Glad this rental was available.

Family vacation

This was the first vacation my children and their families have had together in 10 years. We had searched rentals for 3 full baths and bedrooms and found this one. Upon arrival to unit we find a sign on my bathroom shower door stating to not use shower due to a crack in the floor and it leaking which was written on a plumbers form as it listed the rates for the plumber. Within the first couple of hours of being at the rental, an area of plaster fell down off of the ceiling onto the coffee table and on the floor in the living room. The Afterhours emergency number for the property was contacted and within a short while I was contacted twice regarding my problems. They were nice and seemed to care about my problems and I was told I would be contacted on the following day between 11-3. Nobody ever called. The problems may be insignificant to them but when you spend close to 2500.00 for a week that says you’ll have certain accommodations and what you then are rented is not that, this says to me that the company is only out to make money and customer satisfaction and repeat business is not important to them. To make matters worse, one of the other shower doors was not working correctly and literally seemed to be coming off of the hinges. The other issue I had was the pickets in the balcony were seemingly not stable and some had a lot of movement in them and other vacationers with smaller children should not leave children unattended on the balcony as this also is a safety issue. We were never offered another place to stay nor any monetary compensation for the false advertisement of three full baths. Also the dishwasher detergent door was broken and care had to be used when running the dishwasher. I was sorry that the amount of money my children and I spent on the unit was not for something more accommodating.

This property was very convenient for the beach. Great ocean view! Enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the waves! This was our first visit to North Myrtle Beach and we enjoyed it. Nice family beach.

Southern Coast Rentals ***

The Condo Xanadu 1 D3, was adequate. The team from Southern Coast Rentals however were fantastic. Specifically Monica, who helped to update us through COVID details in the community, she reached out with additional information that she though would be (and was) helpful to our family. While I do not see myself renting this unit again, I would quickly rent through Southern Coast again. We have been coming to NMB for 15+ years and know the area well, but had never stayed at Xanadu 1 before. That being said, unit is definitely ready for updating, but access to the beach was good, only 16 units in the complex, so the beach area was not crowded. Bathrooms were small, balcony furniture was old and rusty, air conditioners leaked condensation, freezer had no ice maker. Walkable distance to parasailing, banana boats and our favorite restaurant Molly Darcy's. Close to grocery stores, mini-golf, surf shops and all the amenities you need for a family vacation.

The room was dated with what appeared to be incomplete attempts to update - like counters not connected to walls, doors that don’t shut/lock, etc. Our biggest issue was the neighbors - one with 5am dog barking and the other with nonstop weed and cigarette smoke that blew into our room from the patio.

While the Atlantic coast does not have my favorite beaches, the convenience of our condo made for an enjoyable time. We had plenty of room (and bathrooms!) for me and 3 girls (ages 15-24). We especially enjoyed the proximity to the beach. Rental company promptly responded to our requests.

Labor Day Vacation, Great Location

Reviewer Comments: We generally stay in North Myrtle Beach because it is close to restaurants and attractions but not overcrowded. Xanadu has only 4 floors and it has a very good view of the beach. The inside was a bit dated and the furniture was on the cheap side, but the place was clean and very functional. Everything was in working order. There was a nice little pool and easy walking access to the beach. Parking was ample when we were there. Two cars were allowed per condo. Be aware that you will have to climb about seven steps to get to the elevator. As always, read the contract documents as to what you will need to bring for your stay and what your responsibilities are. Our condo fit our family very well and we would definitely consider coming back again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The ocean front condo was great, we have stayed here before, just a different unit. This unit was a little run down. One of the twin beds was not fit for sleeping in at all and one of the king beds were very uncomfortable. I would suggest updating the mattresses as well as the linen package we purchased. Blankets were thin and we were shorted one. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Outdoor carpet was torn up in several spots, probably should be replaced.
