acceptable, but im being nice when i say that

the apartment was ok. nothing fancy or nice, the furniture was slightly better than was shown in the pics, but the bathroom needs help. everything was clean, but there was trash in the alley behind, in front it looked like sanford and son, and the bathroom was just....lets put it this way, it could use an update. the sink and toilet were current, but the shower was on the verge of unacceptable and needs to be gutted (at the very least bleached for mold). i tried to contact Vicky via text, phone, and email about an early entry but she didn't respond bc of the Sabbath. THAT'S FINE, except we never heard a response EVER and we were there 4 days. there was also an angry neighbor that does not like that this is being rented and let us know it. Light sleepers beware, slamming metal gates and car lights will be a problem. it was myself and two teens, the area seemed safe but the alley is definately sketchy and had i known i would not have rented.

Great Location

The Condo was easy to locate and very clean. My family of 5 enjoyed resting our heads at this quaint condo after a long day of sight seeing. I would recommend to those who are looking to stay at a reasonably priced condo with teens! Thank you, we had a great vacation!

Beautiful!

Having never used VRBO before, this was the perfect way to start my experience. The owner was so easy to work with, followed up in a timely manner and just made the overall experience as stress-free as possible! The condo was beautifully kept, clean and very comfortable for my family of 5. Highly recommend this property and the owner! Will definitely return!!

Was not happy

When we arrived from a long road trip, the toilet was clogged. This was very frustrating being that there was only one bathroom and we could not easily unclog or get ahold of the owner. The place was not very clean with clumps of hair on the floor and old food in the fridge. The games were old and missing pieces. There was no DVD player, which surprises me because you can get one very cheap!! The owner was not easy to get ahold of when we had a problem or questions about anything. She would take her time getting back to us. The only thing that was nice was the bed! We will not stay here again.

Quiet and comfortable

This is an older property but very comfortable and accommodating for our family of four. Easy to drive to all of the destinations we selected. One down fall was there was only a table top ironing board which made ironing clothes for tall people very difficult. Easy fix... bought an ironing board and left it for future renters. I would stay here again as well as refer a friend.

Perfect location for Universal Studios and love that the bathroom is in between the bedrooms

Perfectly located a couple miles from the freeway. Also I wanted something close to Universal Studios and it is a 12min drive! Not far from the Hollywood museum as well as the wax museum. Theirs a grocery store a mile away so we could make breakfast and cook a few meals. If you don't want to cook there's a few nice restaurants 15 minutes away, as well as the mall. We stayed 5 days and I never had a issue with parking. I parked on the street right by the front door! The neighbors are loud but we were gone all day everyday so it didn't bother us. They were quiet around 9pm. I would highly recommend this place and would stay again, perfect price and perfect location!

All around great stay

Very clean, comfortable, nicely appointed apartment in a great location. The owner, Vicky, was very responsive to my pre-booking questions and emails. She provided very clear and detailed arrival and occupancy instructions so that the stay was perfect. Nice touches such as snacks waiting for us on arrival made us feel like we were family guests. There was some road and neighbor noise, but nothing disturbing (as expected for an apartment in a densely-populated area on a main street). I highly recommend this property. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to stay while visiting Universal Studios

It was so nice to be only a very short drive to Universal Studios, but have the comfort of a home for our family. So nice to have 2 twin beds for our kids. They are always happy to have their own space. Kitchen was just right for making a healthy breakfast in the AM and making some snacks in the evening. Living room is comfortable. Bathroom was just right. Yes, there are neighbors upstairs that make a bit of noise, but truthfully not a big deal! We didn't hang around during the day and they were quite by the time we wanted to go to bed. Still much quieter and less annoying than a hotel. Whole Foods Grocery store is just down the road. There is an In N Out Burger place not far away. Shark's Woodfire Mexican Grill is awesome!! If you have time, be sure to visit the Griffith Observatory and, YES, watch the movie! Vicky was VERY attentive and extremely helpful. It is very apparent how much she cares about her property and the guests that stay there. She is accommodating and communicates well via email.

Flawless stay in wonderful location

What can I say, our experience was so positive, we are returning again soon! The owner Vicky was a pleasure to work with, the transaction for booking was flawless. She definitely has the entire experience dialed-in. The condo was as described, very lovely unit that was even a little more spacious than originally imagined. Would highly recommend!

We had a good stay, with four adults and 2 dogs.

The apartment was comfortable with all the basics. The beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, safe. Apt D however faces busy Burbank Ave, so bedrooms had some traffic noise, but not bad in winter. We enjoyed walking the length of "the Great Wall of LA"- a mural on the river wall, that tells the history of California. The only down side of our experience: when we arrived, the keys were NOT in the lockbox. We were locked out. The cleaning crew working next door called someone after a while to help us get in. The owner is generally very quick to respond, except on Fri night and Saturday. Text is best for communicating.

Wonderful Relaxing Home in a Super Convenient Location

We had an amazing stay. The house was spotlessly clean. Every attention to detail was thought of. My family felt very comfortable and at home there. My children even enjoyed sitting on the porch and playing in the front garden area. It was remarkably quiet for being right on a busy street. Super convenient to so many other towns and freeways. We hated to leave when our time came to an end. We truly had a lovely time!

Close to Hollywood and great for a family

This house was lovely for us. We had a nice surprise when we walked in & found the table was set with napkins. The house felt like a home. It was nice to find a place with twin beds rather than a queen bed in each room. The decor was tasteful & the supplied sheets & towels were in good condition. We had some people in the unit above us who were very noisy for our first night but they left after one night & we had a nice quiet stay for the rest of the week. The area felt safe & there were quite a few supermarkets within a short distance. There was no laundry within the house but there was a shared coin operated laundry behind the house with a locked door so you could be sure that your clothes were not stolen. There were some supplies provided when we arrived which was nice as if you want to cook, you didn't need to go and buy a whole bottle of cooking oil. Overall I would rate this as good value for money & if it had free laundry supplied, I would have given it 5 stars.

Cozy Condo

Very clean, well maintained with easy access to the areas attractions. Very quiet inside the condo despite being right next to a major street. Adult children slept well in the twin room while the wife and I slumbered in that wonderful king bed.

Long weekend in LA

The property was clean and as pictured. It was generally easy to find and easy enough to get around. The downs.... 1. As an apartment, there are upstairs tenants with a child that was running around anywhere from 5am to 11pm. 2. The parking behind the apt. was hit and miss on a designated spot. Luckily, we were not around the apt. much, so it was not a big concern. Lastly, 3. I think if there was a better seal around the front door, that I could not see through, that would keep things cooler and not let the black bugs in. We saw many inside the door in the morning. Overall clean and that was the main thing. Thanks.

Friendly, Clean and Very Accommodating!

We didn't know our exact arrival date or hour (it kept changing) but Vicky was very accommodating. We had a puppy with us and the place was perfect for for walking out in the morning and having some privacy to let her go. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great for families

Our family enjoyed our stay during a trip to Universal Studios which is nearby. This property was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed having two separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, and large dining/living area.The property was accurately described. The owner was very easy to deal with, responsive, and provided clear instructions.

Great place!

This was our staging place for our trip to Universal Studios, and for that it worked very well. The second bedroom had two beds which great for my two girls. Only having one bathroom was a bit of a struggle, but of course we managed. I'd recommend this house, and will come back again.

Very Comfortable and Cozy

We were attending a conference nearby. The studio apartment was very comfortable and cozy. The host had many practical items available to use during our stay. From coffee accessories to even an ice cream scoop! We hope to be able to rent again on our next visit to the area.

Amazing vacation spot!

This apartment was PERFECT for myself and 3 girlfriends. The owner was a pleasure to work with, always a call away if we needed anything. Home was very clean and spacious and the neighbors were friendly! You feel very safe as well! Loved everything about it, would definitely return again!
