Checks all the boxes
This was one of the nicest VRBO properties I have ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean, impeccably decorated and furnished, and accurately described in its listing. Communications with the hosts were excellent and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Acerca de su propietario/a
Propietario/a: Christie
Japanese/American family who recently traded NYC living for the Southwest. We are avid travelers, hobby photographers, and have a second home in Japan. We are excited to be on the other side hosting guests and providing a memorable experience.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
The cabin is located in the gorgeous Denver-Vega valley area close to Roxbury, NY about 2.5 hours from NYC. It's very private with windy paved roads that have very little car traffic. There are beautiful mountain views everywhere you drive and peaceful surroundings with other cabins around.
The charming town of Roxbury is a 10 minute drive and has cute chops and eateries, a general store, a wine store, and laundromat. There is plenty of hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities in the area. We are also close to Fleischmann’s (10 min), Margaretville (15 min) and Stamford (20 min) which have a lot of cute shops, grocery stores, eateries and more.
Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
The property is one of the only places in the US where you can get a Japanese ryokan-like experience. You can sleep Japanese style on the tatami floor, wear yukata robes, learn more about Japanese culture, enjoy drinking matcha, and practice shinrin-yoku (forest-bathing) with the beautiful nature surroundings.
