Cozy 3 Bd 2 Ba house is centrally located in Lincoln, just outside of downtown in a quiet neighborhood. It is short walking distance to the Lincoln Zoo and Antelope Park, both unique Lincoln family attractions. We are also within 5 minute drive to all the amenities of downtown and the Haymarket such as Memorial stadium, Pinnacle Bank Arena and all the bars/restaurants. There are 3 king size beds in the 3 spacious bedrooms and 1 extra hide away bed for those stays requiring extra sleep space. IMPORTANT NOTE AS OF 3-22-25 : DUE TO A RECENT WINTER STORM THE BACKYARD FENCE IS DOWN AND WILL NOT BE FULLY ENCLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Loved our stay in the Sumner House: easy check-in, friendly and responsive hosts, a welcome basket with snacks and most importantly 3 bedrooms with 3 comfortable king size bed,… it all made for a wonderful reunion and game day trip.

Enoyed the amenities and yard for the dog (not yet fenced in). Mattresses were not so comfortable, but enjoyed everything else.

Great game weekend stay!

This rental was very clean and one of the most well-stocked rentals we have ever stayed in. It was the perfect space for our group to eat, sleep, and hang out in for the weekend. These are A+ VRBO hosts!

Perfect for our needs!

Perfect place for what we needed

The place was laid out well for our needs. It had a kitchen a bedroom on the main floor that worked well for my parents and 2 more bedrooms upstairs. A nice little place in a nice little neighborhood!

Family holiday dinner

We picked this location because it was close to our daughters house and would easily accommodate our family of 7. We had plenty of room and everything we needed to enjoy our family holiday dinner. The house was clean with plenty of towels and all the amenities of home. Also, this was a great location and we walked our dogs to the park just a couple blocks away. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute Cottage

Beds were very comfortable; kitchen was well-equipped. Very large walk-in shower downstairs. Heat/cooling responsive and easy to keep house warm. Owner was easy to reach and responsive. Only complaint is that WiFi/TV never worked.

Apologize for the issues with the WiFi , unfortunately it was very poor timing . The router box went out and no one would come look at it to fix over the weekend. The issue has been fixed and the WiFi is back up and running now.

Surgery at Bryan

We needed a place to stay in Lincoln overnight after my husbands outpatient surgery. House worked very good. Close to hospital and beds were comfortable. A little trouble getting in the first time but host responded quickly.

4 night visit in July

The house and location were perfect for our purposes, including 3 adults and one toddler. We didn't cook much, but the kitchen is well equipped. Jordan was responsive and arranged for both a PacknPlay and high chair for our toddler. The WiFi worked well. We would stay here again.

Great for a swim meet weekend

Great old house that has been redone! The kitchen could have used a few mixing bowls and a spatula but otherwise everything was great for a 4 person family. The neighborhood was quiet which was great for going to bed early and getting up very early and close to everything we needed.

Clean and comfortable!

This roomy older home has been updated for all conviences while retaining its charm. The lay out worked well for our group of 5 adults. Beds were comfortable. The shower was roomy with strong water pressure and hot water. The house was clean and had everything we needed. (we didn't cook but the kitchen appeared well stocked) I especially enjoyed the porch swing during an early morning spring rain shower.

A Spotless, Welcoming Haven in Lincoln

We were so grateful for the owner’s quick response to our reservation, filling us in on all the details about the property right away—it really set us up to know just what to expect. The house was impeccably clean, the thoughtful details in preparation for our arrival (bottled water in the fridge, coffee, etc.) made an huge difference. The three king beds with incredibly comfortable bedding were a luxurious touch, even though it was just the two of us. Yes, it’s an older home with some character and imperfections, but it’s been thoughtfully updated with all the modern conveniences and digital perks we could need. Nestled in a tranquil neighborhood, it was the perfect place to recharge after our busy days, offering peace, quiet, comfort, and a fantastic night’s sleep. As our first time booking a pet-friendly spot, this place was an absolute dream—staying here allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our trip, not worrying constantly about our dogs. On our next trip to or through Lincoln, we will definitely look to stay here again.

My wife Brittney and I are from Nebraska. We met in Lincoln during school at UNL and love the small city feel & all the great things Lincoln has to offer, so when we moved away from Lincoln we decided to stay connected with it & share our place in Lincoln with others who come to town for the great events it hosts. From Husker events to many concerts a year at PBA, the children’s zoo, and all the great bars/restaurants in the Haymarket area. Lincoln has a ton to offer.

We love to travel with sites like AirBnb & VRBO ourselves as it accommodates families and groups better than a traditional hotel. Check our place in Lincoln, NE out and hopefully you choose us for your next stay in the capital city of Nebraska!

The neighborhood is quiet and centrally located , it’s within walking distance to a few attractions like the zoo, Antelope Park , & easily within biking distance or a quick drive to downtown & the Haymarket area of Lincoln which features Memorial Stadium for football game days and Pinnacle Bank Arena for concerts, Husker basketball games, & much more! South point mall is an also a short drive south. There’s tons to explore in Lincoln and we’re right in the middle of it all in this neighborhood.

The location within Lincoln is certainly unique . We also have 3 bedrooms each with a king bed to maximize sleeping arrangements. There is a hide a bed in the living room as well if more sleeping space is necessary. than just the 3 Bedrooms.

We have a fenced in back yard for pets to safely be able to go outside for bathroom breaks.
