Just steps from the beach, our home is a brand new luxury, family-friendly beach retreat boasting 4 ensuite bedrooms, a rooftop deck with firepit and a game room packed with fun for all ages. Past guests have raved about the location, having the whole home to themselves, privacy comfort and amenities for all ages.

The space

Accommodating up to 10 guests (County max), the home features 3,000 sq feet of comfortable, well-appointed indoor and outdoor living space.

With 6 queen beds and couch space, there is plenty of room to spread out. The 4 bedrooms have queen size beds and their own private en suite full bathrooms. The other 2 queen beds are pull-out sofas in the upstairs game room.

Enjoy time with your children at the state beach or at the protected kiddie beach inside the break wall of the harbor! There's a place for everyone!

Complete with an outdoor shower too! Rinse off after hitting the beach. Hop out of the surf, and into a piping hot shower for a great post beach experience!

Prime Location:
Steps to the shore, this location provides convenient access to the 1 mile stretch of golden sandy beach. Watch the sun rise or set while walking the beach, watching the surfers or play in the surf and keeping an eye out for the seals and dolphins that frequent the area - often close to shore. The beach is extremely easy to access as we're only three houses deep and 90 steps from the sand.

Spacious Living:

The 1st floor is where the gourmet cooking, BBQing, and family dinners take place. The fully equipped kitchen features brand-new Viking appliances, basic cooking utensils, a dishwasher, double sink's and a BBQ perfect for preparing delicious meals. The large square Pottery Barn dining table seats 8 comfortably and can accommodate 2 more for those larger family dinners or board game nights.

The 2nd floor features 4 queen bedrooms each with private en suite bathrooms. Each well-appointed bedroom is designed for luxurious comfort and features: Pottery Barn beds and console tables, comfortable brand new mattresses, Parachute linens, blackout shades, mounted 50" Roku TV's, nightstands, lamps, phone chargers and closets with hangers and luggage racks.

The 3rd floor is where you will find the rooftop deck. Relax in the sun on lounge chairs, play a game of cornhole, or cozy up for s'mores around the firepit. Enjoy the wall-to-wall mural of Silverstrand Beach, painted by local Ventura artists.

Step inside from the roof deck to the 700 sq foot game room with arcade games like Pac Man, Buck Hunter & Fast & the Furious, a 14 foot shuffleboard table, two 50" TVs and a 65" TV. The game room also has two separate pullout couches each with a queen sofa sleeper. The bedding can be found inside the outmans.

Whole home water filtration makes any water drinking quality. Reverse osmosis-filtered water is available in the kitchen.

Flip the switch and light up the gas fireplace to set a nice ambiance while relaxing in the family room on the comfortable leather Z Galerie couch. Read a book, play a game, or watch your favorite show on the 65" Samsung Frame TV.

The garage has a ping pong table as well as some basic beach gear including wetsuits, beach wagon, 10 towels, 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs and 1 umbrella.

Activities:
Sometimes doing nothing is the perfect activity! But, for those looking for more, there are a number of options nearby:

- Rent Paddleboards, Kayaks, Electric Boats, and more: Cruising the harbor on your choice of transportation is a fun way to spend a few hours. All can be rented at the nearby Channel Islands Harbor (~3 miles).

- Sportfishing Charters (~1 mile) - catch your own dinner!

- Golf (~7 miles) - There are plenty of options in the area but River Ridge is close, reasonably priced, and has two great courses to choose from.

- Hiking (~15 miles) - The Santa Monica Mountains provide plenty of hiking options. Ask your hosts for some of their favorites!

- Whale Watching (~1 mile) - Depending on the time of year, whale watching charters will visit the pristine waters of the Channel Islands National Park just offshore to find humpback, blue, orca or gray whales as they migrate north and south. Large pods of dolphins are common in these waters too.

- Ferry to Channel Islands National Park (9 miles to the Ventura Harbor) - For a full-day excursion, take a ferry boat out to Santa Rosa Island 14 miles offshore. You can hike the isolated islands. They also offer guided snorkeling and/or kayaking options where you can explore sea caves and sealife in this protected natural environment.

- Surfing: (walking distance) - Silverstrand is a world-class wave and one of the best beach breaks in Ventura County. Throughout the year there can be fun waves for all skill levels or just play in the sand and on the shore. The prime surf season though is September through March when W/NW swells light up the sand bars producing powerful barrels and A-frame peaks, often (especially in fall) groomed by offshore winds.

Your host, Keith, lives nearby and has surfed the area for 20 years and can guide you where to go and when based on your skill level and ocean conditions during your stay.

For non-surfers, just walking the beach, playing on the shore or in the sand, and watching the area's best surfers during these swells is entertaining.

Other things to note
No smoking. Quiet hours begin at 9 PM. Please move your conversations at that time inside as our neighbors may need to work in the morning. The home has six cameras on the exterior of the home that will be recording during your stay to ensure our maximum occupancy is honored. A clear identifiable image of yourself is required when a booking occurs as those who host need to know who they are inviting into their homes.
