"Seaside” is a beautifully restored plantation house. It is a charming, coral stone building situated at the water's edge on the western end of Silver Sands beach. This elegant, colonial style house is a striking ocean front property.

House “Seaside” lets you experience the exotic mix , flavor and coziness of the Caribbean, just steps away from Inchcape’s white sand beach and the turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea.

This two bedrooms / two bathrooms unit has an airy, open plan design. Exposed coral stone walls combine with antique and modern furniture to create an atmosphere that is stylish yet thoroughly comfortable. Two French doors lead from the living room onto a spacious patio which is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. An elevated wooden deck, cooled by the gentle trade winds and sheltered by a coconut tree, is perfect spot for alfresco dining or simply relaxing and letting the magnificent panorama of turquoise Caribbean water delight the eyes.
An aura of casual elegance, privacy and cool comfort make "Seaside" a unique holiday home. Nestled within the boundaries of Inchcape in a blissfully private location "Seaside" has the perfect "away from it all" atmosphere. Surrounded by gardens and just a few steps from a magnificent white sand beach it is a natural choice for those who appreciate elegant simplicity.

“Seaside” can accommodate 4 persons in the two bedrooms of the main house and a Seaside Cottage which is also part of the property offers accommodation for 1, 2 or 3 persons.

Although colonial style has been preserved perfectly, House Seaside offers all modern amenities one could ask for in an upmarket property.
Satellite tv, complementary high speed wireless internet access, private cell phone on request and personal attention to our guests needs are amongst the high class features which come along with the rental of this property.

Beautiful!
The inchcape villas are amazing, located close to everything. We stayed at the Seaside Villa and the views were breathtaking. The beach was a bit rocky but beautiful! The hosts were nice and helpful. It was truly an amazing vacation.

A Dream Vacation!
The Inchcape villas were a dream come true. We rented the House Seaside which was totally amazing! Very clean, spacious and cozy! The owners were very nice and helpful. The beach is amazing and the views from the terrace were breathtaking! The villas are close to everything. We couldn't have asked for more~~~

Great place to stay!
Everything you read about Inchcape is true! My wife and I stayed in a different location previously and now we will return to Inchcape. Wolfgang and Rosi were always helpful. They gave us the info on great restaurants to visit and when I inquired about booking a deep sea fishing trip, Wolfgang had me set up within the hour. I recommend to anyone considering Barbados, check out Inchcape!

Great stay
All expectations were exceeded at Inchcape. A fantastic stay and base to explore Barbados. Bright, white, breezy rooms, amazing beach access, green grass, flexible room layouts, kitchen, privacy, hammocks, iPod dock, movies ... More? Well, Wolfgang and Rosie are hosts I would now count as friends. They are a wealth of island knowledge, with brilliant suggestions and unbiased recommendations that catered to my every need. This review is but the first (overdue) step to repaying the gratitude overwhelming me and which I hope some day to repay. Thanks, Campbell

Gorgeous historic property, modern amenities, world-class windsurfing!
These Villas are beautiful, unique apartments remodeled and renovated from historic plantation buildings.The location is breathtaking, overlooking the ocean and set in lovely tropical gardens.One of the many charms of these villas is that each is uniquely configured, and most have their own private outdoor areas including gorgeous garden areas and decks with great ocean views. I stayed at Inchcape for three weeks, and had the opportunity to stay in several different units.I would be hard-pressed to pick a favourite, as each had unique and special features; for example, the Seaside Cottages have great lofts with beautiful views; Seaview has a lovely covered balcony; and Coconut enjoys a private garden. Complementing the fascinating historic context and creative interior architecture, the apartments are equipped with all the modern comforts and conveniences including full-sized kitchen appliances, high-speed internet (which always worked!), and TV and sound system. In addition to the apartments’ private outdoor areas, Inchcape also has an extensive beautifully landscaped garden, with a long frontage overlooking the ocean.The whole area is extremely private (gated and fenced, but not intrusively so). The location is perfect for windsurfers / kitesurfers with their own gear, or for anybody wanting to rent equipment (a rental shop is located a 5-minute walk upwind along the beach). As a solo traveler without a rental car, I found this location absolutely perfect – the grounds and apartments at Inchcape were quiet, relaxed, safe, and extremely comfortable; windsurfing gear was available a short walk along the beach; and groceries, fresh fish at the fish market, and fresh produce at locally-run stands were all an easy bus ride away (you don’t need a rental car or taxi to come and go to Oistins from Inchcape. The bus stop is 5 minutes walk up the hill, and taking the #11 van into town is fun, and a good way to get around). The self-catering / full kitchen aspect was a big advantage over a hotel, since eating out seemed quite expensive, but fresh fish at the market was excellent value. The maid service was extremely competent and professional. This is a superbly-run establishment were the staff are proud to work. The owners, Rosi and Wolfgang, are wonderfully welcoming and helpful; they live on-site in their own villa and are always available to help out with local knowledge. I can understand why the majority of their guest are returning clientele

The owners of House Seaside brought windsurfing to Barbados in 1978 and made Silver Sands Beach one of the most popular wave windsurfing spots in the world. Wolfgang as a windsurfing world cup competitor and writer for windsurfing related magazines world wide and Rosi as a photographer promoted Barbados and above all the South Coast and Silver Sands with it's ideal location for windsurfing and kitesurfing in magazines around the world.

House Seaside is located on an exceptional beautiful white sand beach, located on the most southern point of Barbados.The views from house Seaside overlooking the Caribbean Sea are breathtaking and the house is outstanding in architecture and looks. Paradise is right there, when you listen to the sounds of the wind and the waves, while zipping a Rum Punch or a Pina Colada on Seaside's wooden deck just a few steps away from the waters edge.

House Seaside is situated right on the waters edge on the white sand beach of Silver Sands, where the gentle breezes of trades and the proximity to the water provide for a perfect climate. It's hardly ever too hot and never too cold and air-conditioning is not needed at all. Strategically the property is wonderfully located, just 10-12 minutes from the airport (no disturbing noise can be heard) 4 minutes by car from Oistins with it's popular fish market, supermarket and many other stores. St. Lawrence Gap and all popular restaurants along the South coast are reachable within a 10 minutes drive.
