There is a separate small study which is great for kids or a great area for quiet work. The dining area is next to and accessible to the screened porch which is set up for outdoor dining and grilling.

This house can be comfortable for small or large families. There is a large primary bedroom suite on the top floor, one twin bedroom suite on main floor, two large bedrooms with bath on lower level which sleeps 6, and 3 small cute single/ double bedrooms with bath in Annex attached to screen porch which is seasonal only. Great outdoor shower.

The house is situated on 3 acres of mostly open land accessed via a stone driveway and has a large stone parking area next to house. There is a carriage house on the property which is used infrequently only by the owner of this property for car storage. There is a long walkable waterfront along the harbor with a small sandy beach, and a dock with a swim/boat float at the end. This property is located very near a sandy island where people enjoy kayaking, boating or swimming.

The town of Marion is a small, beautiful unspoiled New England town with a large protected harbor filled with boats having a world-class sailing camp in the summer. There are many options for activities including a large sandy town beach with playground, a small village with shops, general store, restaurant and a very old post office. There are public tennis courts, and towns docks for water access. There is a town center with music in the summer. The Marion Arts Center has classes for children and Tabor Academy, a middle and upper school, has a terrific summer camp offering sports, academics and the arts.
