Unit 6406 - This is a beautiful Gulf Front unit at Gulf Shores Plantation in the Plantation Palms - The next time you vacation on the Alabama Gulf Coast, relax and escape the crowds at our charming 1 bedroom 1 bath condo that sleeps 6. You will love the Gulf Shores Plantation Resort where the condo is located. It is a private gated community and located on the Fort Morgan Peninsula right next door to Kiva Dunes Golf Course.

This lovely decorated beach-front condo has a view that is to die for! Enjoy the nicely furnished living room with a sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the unit has 2 built-in bunk beds. You will feel right at home with Wireless Internet, Cable TV, and DVD. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare meals when staying in, including refrigerator, microwave, ice maker and cooking utensils. a STARTER Supply of Paper and Soap Products is Provided.

During your stay, you will enjoy the beautiful grounds and the four thousand feet of private, uncrowded, and unspoiled, white sandy beaches. Choose between the outdoor beachside pools or indoor pool. There are 4 outdoor pools on the property for your enjoyment. Stay in shape with a workout in the fitness center or enjoy one of several relaxing Hot Tubs. The complex features charcoal BBQ grills, tennis courts, basketball, shuffle board, game room, putting green and much more!

Attractions include various golf courses, Bellingrath Gardens, 65 landscaped acres in the midst of a 905-acre semi-tropical rain forest. Charters are available nearby for deep sea and in-shore fishing, or you may enjoy a boat trip which allows you to watch the dolphins play. Visit Fort Morgan, offering living history demonstrations and self-guided tours. Take a ride on the Ferry to Mobile and visit the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. Take a drive to Pensacola and visit the National Naval Aviation Museum. Looking for a good deal? Check out the large Tanger Shopping Center offering more than 120 factory outlet stores. Take a nature walk in the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge located near the resort. Enjoy local attractions such as The Wharf, ziplines, the zoo, and more. Savor delicious, fresh seafood at numerous, local restaurants. Make a splash at Waterville, USA-a Water Amusement Park sure to thrill kids of all ages! You can also enjoy OWA, the Theme Park for thrills, shopping and dining. There is something for every member of the family!

*Age Requirement: We require the guest who books the reservation to be at least 25 years of age and to be staying in the rented property for the entire length of the rented time period.

We loved staying at Gulf shores plantation. It has everything you need and is away from the crowds. The condo was just as pictured and Jackie was great with responding to our questions!

One of the nicer/cuter condos we have stayed in at the plantation. Cute spacious enough for us and 2 yo grandson. I would stay again.

We went for my fiancé 40th Birthday and we had a blast. The location was great, the room and view was great. We Will for sure be back!

Nice weekend getaway

The views were gorgeous perfect location! The only thing I would suggest is to maybe put darkening curtains in the master bedroom their is a light that shines right in the room all night. Overall the place was perfect.

Great Vacay

This was a nice property to stay at. Would stay here again. Great location and property very safe. My only issue was the bedroom needs blackout curtains. The outside light lights up the entire bedroom at night.

Nice family vacation

Enjoyed our stay here in Fort Morgan. It was an easy walk to the beach, a beautiful view and a great view also of the pools to keep an eye on our teenagers when they ventured to the pool without us parents. We cooked several times as well and had all we needed. Also the owner was great with communication and very easy to work with. We would recommend this rental.

Close enough to the beach to be able to go back and forth as needed. Pools were nice, not heated but the kids didnt seem to mind. Was having an issue with the tv but they were attentive until it was fixed.

We had to stay here for a couple of nights until our house rental was available. We typically do a house and this was our first fort Morgan condo experience. It was as described,and we felt safe in the location. My son loved the pool.

Great Vacation Spot

Great place to vacation with family. We had one issue with the toilet on arrival. Property manager got maintenance out quickly to fix the problem. No more issues after it was fixed. This property has everything you need and is in a great quiet location. Will definitely be back!

Very nice, clean and safe!!

My friend & I stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights and we loved it!!! It’s exactly as pictured, very clean, and very safe! We loved that they had someone at check in for the cars 24/7, made us feel very protected and safe! Beach access is so easy & quick! Indoor pool and hot tub are amazing! Only complaint is it’s very back there in town, it took up 17mins just to get from off of our road and into town to do things. But overall, we LOVED it!

GOOD EXPERIENCE

IT DEFIANTLY COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE CLEANER, THERE WERE WHAT LOOKED LIKE POPTART CRUMBS ON THE RECLINER, A POPSORN BAG IN THE OUTSIDE CHAIR. THEY CAME DURING OUR STAY AND REPLACED THE MICROWAVE. MIGHT WANT TO ADD A SALT AND PEPPER SHAKER TO THE CONDO. OVERALL IT IS A NICE PLACE TO STAY, DEFINATLY LIKE THE SERCURITY GATE AT THE ENTRANCE. OUR FAMILY HAD A GREAT TIME.

Great property for family vacation!

The unit was as expected, just as the photos showed (actually, better! There was newer patio furniture than what was pictured - awesome as we spent a lot of time out there). Great view of the ocean from the unit and it had everything we needed for our short stay. I was worried about sleeping arrangements as my teens (13 and 17) are both over 6’ tall, but they fit into the hallway bunks just fine during our stay. It’s a small unit, but you can’t beat the location, and they made great use of the space. We had a place to pit everything, so you didn’t feel cramped. It was our first trip to the area, and we will definitely see if this unit is available for future trips.

Great view, location, and decor.

We loved our stay! The decor is so bright, cheerful, fresh and new. The rooms were all very clean and the newly updated. I didn't realize that the laundry was actually in the condo vs. laundry room so what a treat. I loved how they added shelves in the bathroom that looked like a converted closet? That gave us extra space to put items. Everything was well thought out. We did wish we had a rug coming in from the balcony but I know those can be a pain and tripping hazard. Again, a delightful stay! Thanks!

Great beach stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Plantation Palms 6404! The condo was clean, check in was super easy, the ac was cold and the location cannot be beat! While we didn’t use all the property amenities like the pools, spa, grill, etc it was so nice to have there. My son enjoyed the putting green since we had just come from his golf tournament. The only issue we had, and this had nothing to do with the condo, was my shoes were stolen off the boardwalk. Everyone leaves their shoes on the boardwalk before heading to the beach. I hesitated leaving my family’s but the place has such a fun, family vibe I went against my better judgment and left them. When my family came up from the beach everyone’s were there but mine :( This happened on our 3rd day so it soured the end of the trip since it was the only shoes I brought! We will definitely stay here again, but we will be sure to take our shoes with us!

Reviewer Comments: We've stayed here 3 times now - the beach is visible from the balcony (with 6 nice chairs and a table), and just a short walk across a raised walkway over the dunes. Located about 15 minutes from Hwy 59, it's on the quieter/towards Fort Morgan part of the beach. The unit is always clean and well stocked with kitchen items. There's a table and chairs for 6, plus 3 bar stools. The sofa and recliner are comfortable (haven't tried the pull out bed). The bedroom is cozy and comfortable, with plenty of storage space for clothes. The bunk beds are in the hallway, and we've not used those either. 6 people would fit here, but it would be a little cramped. There is one bathroom, with a large closet. A small washer/dryer means you don't have to overpack, if willing to wash clothes mid trip.The beach is uncrowded in Oct, and several pools/hot tubs are available for rough surf days (or rain - some are indoors).
