Lo que más apreciamos de este apartamento es su ubicación, céntrica y a poca distancia de los principales sitios históricos y culturales de Roma (Plaza de España y Via Veneto, justo detrás de la esquina, la Fontana de Trevi a 5 minutos a pie ...)
Sin embargo, el interior, renovado en enero, sabe sorprender con dos dormitorios, dos baños, cocina y comedor-sala de estar y una vista fabulosa de la Plaza Barberini. WIFI
La primera habitación tiene dos camas individuales y vistas a la Piazza Barberini que domina la Fuente del Tritón, la segunda con una cama doble está en el desván sobre la sala de estar, una puerta separa este espacio de la segunda habitación, creando un rincón muy romántico.
La espaciosa sala de estar le permite relajarse al regresar de sus visitas a la ciudad.
Los dos baños son cómodos, ambos con ducha.
El apartamento está equipado con un nuevo microondas y tostadora, lavadora, TV solo para consola de DVD y Play Station 1 con juegos y películas.
3er dormitorio (unidad individual) disponible bajo petición con baño completo.
II apartamento en el mismo edificio y mismo piso está disponible para un máximo de 15 personas.

Excellent location. Metro stop across Piazza. Along with Hop on hop off bus stop. Hosts where great at making dinner reservations and drivers for us to and from the airport.

Rome Stay

The place was great. I stayed here with my husband, my mother and 3 kids. Initially the place was a little difficult to find but communication with our host was easy and we got in My only negative was that we couldn't stay in the top loft because it got too hot and Italy laws prohibited turning the AC past a designated temperature. I would stay here again if I came back to Rome. It does get a little loud at night but its because the location is right at the city center where its walking distabce to the Trevi Fountain. This was a great place to stay and I would recommend it.

Excellent Location

This property is ideally located, as we were able to walk to all the major site (Colosseum, Spanish Step, train station, etc.) within 15-20 minutes. There are restaurants and coffee shops downstairs where we would get our morning cappuccinos and pastries as well as night caps after dinner. The space is small, but comfy. The property owner, Giulia was a great communicator and we had no issues checking in or departing. She even arranged airport pickup and drop off for us. I highly recommend this property and if we ever make our way back to Rome we will try to stay here again.

Great service from the manager

We were greeted at the door by one of the property manager’s family and he gladly made up the second room upon our request. Our communications with them were very positive and prompt. Our stay was nice but we were somewhat surprised by the size of the place. This may be influenced by our typical American experience. The loft lowered the ceiling height in the main area and the stairs were steeply angled and narrow. Location was conveniently right on the piazza. It is a walk up and the door into the place is a bit tight. The washing machine in one of the bathrooms was snuggly facing the toilet and therefore the door does not open fully. The beds were comfortable and the supply of hot water was abundant. Those who stand over 5’8” would not be comfortable in the loft. Overall we found it comfortable and convenient to the taxi stand, a great coffee bar and a Tigre grocery. And our stay made it easy to get to many tourist adventures.

Renter beware!

I feel compelled to write this review so any other renters don’t have the experience that we did. What was advertised is not what we received and at a higher price than was disclosed. Listing shows three beds and states linen provided, but you have to pay per person to get linen for all three beds (you have to pay for 6 people to get access to all of the beds). Only one thin pillow provided per person and the beds are hard/uncomfortable. There is a tourist tax of 6 euro per person, per night that must be paid in cash upon arrival, that isn't disclosed on the listing. No kitchen towels provided, only dirty cleaning towels found in the cabinet. Host offered 70 euro "trusted driver" for transport from the airport but if you know Rome there is a good taxi system and it will only cost 50-55 euro from this listing to the airport. There is no PlayStation provided and the tv didn't work. The host was slow to respond to our complaints and will not provide any services on a Sunday. The main thing this apartment has going for it is the location, good access to the metro and center of Rome but not worth the cost in my opinion, look for another listing!

Excelente departamento

El departamento es excelente en cuanto a comodidad y ubicacion. y ademas esta equipado de la mejor manera para que uno se sienta como en casa. Tambien la calidez de Silvia y Humberto hizo que pasemos una estupenda semana en Roma. Por supuesto si volvemos a Roma, nos alojaremos en este hermoso departamento

La proprietà è in un ottima posizione, purtroppo non siamo stati informati che la fermata della metropolitana sotto casa era chiusa. La facciata era in ristrutturazione quindi non si poteva guardare fuori e chiudere le persiane in quanto bloccate dall impalcatura e quindi di notte tra i rumori del traffico e le urla delle persone impossibile dormire. Siamo rimasti senza acqua calda perché l appartamento dispone solo di 80 litri che per 6 persone ma anche per quattro non può bastare. Il bagno perdeva acqua e si allagava, doccino non funzionante, la cucina veramente arrangiata in qualche modo, tavolo e sedie non per 6,Wi-Fi non funzionava. Veramente pessima

Good location

Although the location was great, the nearby metro station was closed. There were, however, two bus stops and two taxi stops within a block. It was a short walk to both Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. We had problems with the WiFi several times but the problem was corrected each time shortly after contacting Guilia.

Cute, clean and centrally located

This was our first time in Rome and the apartment easily met the needs of our family of five. The apartment truly is centrally located and we were able to easily jump on buses that took us in all directions. Even the hop on- hop off buses have a stop across the square. Our host, Guilia, was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed to make our Rome stay a memorable one.

Ottima posizione per visitare Roma

L'appartamento, situato in posizione strategica per poter visitare la città a piedi, con i mezzi pubblici o spostarsi con i taxi, presenta i confort essenziali per soggiorni brevi. Sono presenti gli elettrodomestici e le supellettili necessari. Un pò scomodo il divano e sarebbero necessarie delle tovagliette all'americana da utilizzare per la colazione. L'accoglienza della proprietà è stata buona. La casa era pulita e la consiglierei ad un amico.

Outstanding Location, reasonable price and pleasant experience.

Our family stayed here and we had a great time. You really cannot beat this apartment for the location and price. The kids loved having a loft and not having to walk very far to see the sights. The metro is across the street and you can walk to Trevi, Borghese, Spanish Steps and Pantheon with little effort. The apartment was clean and easy to find. The view out of the window is great for people watching. We would stay again.

Exceeded our Expectations

The apartment exceeded our expectations. The location was very good, the metro and taxi stands was literally a couple of paces away, notwithstanding that we rarely used these amenities as all was within walking distance. The layout of the apartment suited us fine with me and my wife having one bedroom, whilst my daughter, husband and two girls used the living room with the loft as the second bedroom. The kids loved it. The fact that there were 2 bathrooms was very convenient. The kitchen is small and there is no dining table, but convenient enough to be able to have a cup of tea and breakfast. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Claudia and Humberto were very nice with us and provided us with whatever we requested. Lots of restaurants near the apartment, but one must be cautious as some of them are rather pricey. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Great!!!

We've been at Rome for 10 days. And the flat was really nice. The location was great, only 3-4 minutes from Piazza Spagna and Fontana di Trevi. The flat was nice, with beds for 4 or 6 people we had everything, even coffee, sugar and olive oil. Humberto were a nice host and explained us every know how of the house. We had wi-fi and we sleeped really good. The pillows were great and the hot water of the bath was also great. Thank you for making us feeling like home in Rome!!! Gracias y un saludo

Good but could use some improvements than would be Great!

Location was great, view from windows wonderful. Four people staying only one roll of toliet paper had to buy our own. Cute place if things were cleaned up more... walls need to be painted , blankets need cleaning beds were ok, some light bulbs were out and would be nice to get more towels after afew days we stayed a week. was nice to get picked up from airport and back to airport from Enzo. Thank you for the wine. Air conditioner was working and wifi that was a plus. washing machine never used but looked kind of gross. All in all good but can be made much better with some improvements!

Location good, otherwise below expectations

We just returned from a wonderful vacation in Italy. Unfortunately, this apartment was the only part of our trip that was below our expectations. First the good - We loved the Barberini Square location. The apartment was generally clean (the green algae on the soap dish in the working shower was the only exception). The apartment is small, but has a nice layout, and we had no problem sleeping all 5 in our family. The bad... Don't rent this apartment when the weather is expected to be hot. The apartment has two wall-mounted air coolers. Even if they were both working perfectly, they would've had trouble keeping up with the hot weather the week we were there. However, one of them only acted as a fan, and would not cool. The apartment was so hot during the day, we were not able to come back for a rest. We tried not to re-enter the apartment until after sunset. I was assured the broken air cooler was working, but it clearly was not. We had it set the same way as the other one, and the other one worked as it is supposed to. The unit has two bathrooms. One of the showers had a broken hose. I reported this the first evening we were there, but not only was it not fixed, I was told someone came in to check it, and reported that it was working fine. I was so incredulous that someone would claim a clearly broken shower was working that I took a video of the broken shower and sent it to Chiara (I wanted to include the link but was not permitted to do so on this post). Other things you should be clear about: * Chiara will charge an extra fee for using Paypal. I have no doubt she is legitimately passing on the fee that she is charged, but to date I still don't see it disclosed on her VRBO site. * The TV gets no outside stations. It is only good for playing videos. * There is no wifi in the apartment. You can pay to eat/drink at a table at nearby cafe's with wifi, but it will cost you. * While there is a small washer in the apartment, there is nowhere to hang wet clothes. Easier to just go to the laundromat, which we did while there. If the shower gets fixed, you aren't there at a time of the year needing air conditioning, and you don't need wifi, this may be worth looking at for a rental.

Well located

Functional apartment. Close by to metro and major sites within walking distance. Everything ok except the advertised wireless internet and cable TV were not working. A few of us found mattresses and pillows uncomfortable. Otherwise everything else OK. I am sure owner will take note a correct the small problems.

Basic apt with a great location.

We were a group of two couples and we stayed for 4 nights. I should say the best things about this apt were the price and the location. The pictures make it look a little nicer than in person. I don't recall there being any rugs on the floors. There is one bedroom right off the entry and it is comfortable and private. The other bedroom is a loft and it is open to the living area below but there is a door to the living room down below that can be shut. It was great having two bathrooms with showers in a small apt. There is a small washing machine, but no dryer. The AC worked fine, but it was the end of May and not too hot yet. The hot water heater will last you 3 or maybe 4 super quick showers in the morning. The location was good for walking to nearby restaurants and sites and we felt like locals since we were so close to everything. The snack bar directly below the apt has great breakfast sandwiches they can make custom for you and their fresh squeezed orange juice is wonderful! The wifi was just installed while we were there and we never could get it to connect because the signal was too weak. Chiara is still working on it so hopefully it will be working in the future. Could use and ironing board and a new iron. Do not put water in the iron because it never gets hot enough to make steam, only wet streaks all over your clothes. Overall, I would recommend this apt, not at all luxurious, but a good location, clean, basic and affordable.

Great location

We were a party of 3. The location is very convenient and a great value. Walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, near restaurants. It was great to be able to walk to excellent restaurants nearby for dinner. The apartment was clean and the sheets fresh. The beds were very comfortable. There are 2 bathrooms, one bedroom and a loft plus a couch that serves as a bed after you open it. The pictures are accurate. The apartment is small as most apartments in Rome but we did not spend much time in the apartment. I liked being able to watch the activity outside and have common space while we waited for each other. It was nice to be able to make tea. It was very convenient to have the taxi stand and metro across the street. Not having internet was a disadvantage. I expected to have access via a nearby coffee shop but was not able to find it. I would rent again if internet is available.

look for a better listing! keep walking!

We had it booked for a week- Nov.5-Nov. 12 of 2011.The apartment was extremely dirty, there was no toilet paper, both showers were leaking. The owner -Chiara-has a complete disregard for her guests. Location is good. However, extremely noisy. I would never recomment it to anybody. We felt completely ripped off.

Great location!!!

We were 3 couples who rented the 2 bedroom apt in addition to the separate bedroom with ensuite during 4 nite stay in Rome. The couples in the 2 bedroom apt found accommodation modest but clean and comfortable - they had breakfast there but did not spend much time in apt other than to sleep, shower - we did not prepare any meals. It was a very fair price for what it offered (especially location). Rome has so much to offer we did not spend much time at the accommodation. While myself and my husband were grateful for the opportunity to stay in the separate bedroom with ensuite (it allowed us to stay in the same building as our travelling friends) it may be more suited to someone looking just for bare basics - clean, safe place to lay their head. The price point charged very fair and we felt safe there - also the bed was very comfortable. The pictures of this room on site are accurate so we honestly didn't expect much when we decided to take this room (done for convenience) - the main draw back for us, that we weren't expecting, was the hot water tank was so small - not good if you like to start or end your day with a shower each - it would have been nice to know this in advance. We would consider renting 2 bedroom apt again for the awesome location alone. It is in a historic building in a beautiful part of Rome....it was in a nice square, walk outside the door of the building and look upon a nice fountain, restaurants/coffee shops steps away, immediate access to subway and buses, taxis on the square, plus it was really within easy walking distance to most areas of interest in Rome. We feel separate bedroom is more suited to someone on tight budget - very basic....comfy bed to lay head at end of day only! Chiara was excellent to deal with, prompt with replies to any questions before we arrived and so very helpful. She was waiting for us in the apt on arrival. Apt on Barberini Sq.

Great location, Great value. The apartment was great, 2 baths with showers, small fridge, and a/c. Everything you need is nearby, restaurants, café, metro, laundry, etc. Easy walk to Spanish steps, Trevi fountain. Wish I could stay longer. Thank You, Chiara.

Great location and value

Chiara: Just got back from our stay and wanted you to know how pleased we were. Location was fantastic and central to everything, with a metro stop on the corner. We had an issue with 3rd bedroom but it was fixed quickly. Thanks for arranging for Mr. Enzo to meet us at airport and for the hotel room for the last night. For anyone considering the 3rd bedroom for the additional space, be aware that it is not in the same flat but an actual bedroom and bath that is one floor down. While perfect for teenagers or large group, it isn't feasible if you plan on using it for younger children. If I ever return to Rome, I would not hesitate to rent this property again. Monica
