Sal por la puerta de atrás y camina por la hermosa playa del Atlántico. O relájate junto a la piscina frente al mar. Disfrute de la vista al mar desde la bañera de hidromasaje de la cubierta principal. O simplemente relájate en cualquiera de las 5 cubiertas frente al mar y mira jugar a los delfines.

Por la noche, tome su copa de vino en la terraza junto a la bahía mirando la puesta de sol. Por la noche, juegue al billar o al hockey de aire. Vea películas en el televisor de pantalla plana de 50 ". Hay 7 dormitorios y un altillo y 4 baños completos.

El dormitorio del primer piso tiene una cama queen y una cama individual. Hay un baño privado completo en este piso. Lavadora y secadora en el cuarto de servicio con un refrigerador adicional.

Al segundo piso se llega por una escalera de caracol a los 3 dormitorios y 2 baños, el dormitorio junto a la bahía tiene 2 camas matrimoniales y el frente al mar tiene 1 cama queen. El baño está entre las dos habitaciones en un salón privado.

El dormitorio principal también en el segundo piso tiene una cama king con una pequeña sala de estar que incluye un escritorio y una mini nevera. El principal tiene un baño grande con ducha abierta para 2 personas y 2 lavabos con inodoro separado. Hay dos terrazas en el dormitorio principal, una tiene la bañera de hidromasaje. Ambas cubiertas están cubiertas.

El tercer piso tiene los 2 dormitorios adicionales (uno con un rey y el otro con una reina) con el baño principal entre ellos. También hay una sala de estar frente al océano, 2 comedores separados, un gran bar, cocina y sala de billar. Hay otra habitación debajo de la sala de billar con 2 literas gemelas (una litera tiene una cama completa en la parte inferior) y 1 cama individual separada. La mesa de air hockey se encuentra aquí. Un gran lugar para los niños!

La cubierta del área del comedor tiene una gran mesa y sillas para comer al aire libre. La terraza de la cocina está junto a la bahía para disfrutar de excelentes puestas de sol y una zona de descanso para disfrutar de su copa de vino.

Todas las habitaciones tienen TV. Hay un reproductor de DVD, equipo de música, TV de pantalla plana grande, parrilla de gas, ducha exterior abierta, máquina de hielo independiente e internet inalámbrico (¡traiga su computadora portátil!)

La piscina está disponible del 1 de abril al 1 de octubre y la bañera de hidromasaje está disponible todo el año.

Its main entry had a spiral staircase which is hard on older prople and people with bad knees. I feel they should let you use the elevator even if you needed to pay sn extra fee.The master was huge.The third floor only had 1 bathroom for 2 bedroom and the bunk room which 8 people were using.Kitchen and living area was nice with nice balconiesWe had trouble with plumbing in the bathroom but the owner was able to get it fixed. The exterior could use a good power washing to spruce it up and remove the many spiders. There were also ants in the basementThe location was amazing and we all did have a good time My granddaughter 7, did love the spiral staircase to the loft and claimed it as hers!

This is our second time staying in the house. It is perfectly located right on the beach on the southern end of the island. The kitchen is absolutely the best equipped kitchen in Sandbridge. It is clean, up to date, has every appliance we needed. In fact we ended up cooking most of our meals there. The owner is extremely responsive and helpful.The outdoor pool is the perfect way to end the day.We started each morning on the deck with a cup of coffee watching the Cormorants and Dolphins in the water.I wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Beach View/Access, Tiring Stairs

The view of the ocean and quick access to the beach were wonderful. And the pool was nice. Large fans in each room were welcome. The kitchen was well-equipped, except for no ice cream scoop or pizza cutter. :-) Not so wonderful: access to the top/main floor is either via an inside spiral staircase or a long outdoor staircase. The internet connection performance was very spotty. The small fridge behind the bar froze our soda and beer. Possibly because the freezer door is missing? The first floor rooms were not very clean and looked to show damage from flooding in the past. Having a large condo property nearby cause the beach to be crowded. One footer for the stairs up to the hot tub is washed out, hanging in the air. I would recommend: 1) fix/replace small fridge, 2) improve the Internet connection, 3) clarify in the listing that bad knees will be tough and/or make the elevator available to guests, 4) rehab the rooms on the 1st floor, 5) fix the hot tub deck stairs footer. We had an enjoyable week at the beach with our family, but this property was not the best fit for our family.

Family Vacation

Overall, great location, easy access to the beach and local restaurants within walking distance. Initially, upon arrival, the floors were still sandy and required additional vacuuming...which we did with the several vacuums in the house (more a reflection of the cleaning crew, but not unexpected at the beach and noted at several other properties we've visited). There were some ants, mainly in kitchen area (again common at the beach, resolved with a few ant traps). The house is large and plenty of sleeping space. Beds were comfortable. Nice game room with a pool table. The host was outstanding with timeliness of replies and attentiveness (broken dishwasher piece was replaced within 24 hours). Bathrooms were clean. Linens and towels were clean. Water pressure is a problem, with multiple showers running (bottom floor bathroom/washer running limits upstairs pressure). Internet is patchy modem resets necessary to reaquire signal strength. Works well otherwise (likely an issue with Cox cable and signal strength from ISP as the house wifi equipment is reasonable...ie google nest). Plenty of space for beverages with a large refrigerator in kitchen and multiple small units for drinks along with a separate wet bar off the side of the main room. Spiral staircase up to main level could be tricky, esp with luggage and people with mobility issues. Access to the elevatoray would have been useful with luggage. Overall, we had a great time, nice property and timely assistance from owners.

Awesome family vacation

Perfect beach house setting for our family of 18. Plenty of sleeping and bathroom accommodations. Rooms for the kids to hang out in. Hot tub and pool right outside and beach just steps away. Never a crowed beach, which had a very private feel to it. We loved our stay.

PopPop an Nana’s Dream Week

We had the best week! Couldn’t ask for a better location. A fenced yard with pool and a sand area was perfect for the kids, especially when the adults were not ready to go to the beach. When we were ready to go to the beach it was only steps away. The beach was not crowded and we didn’t have to fight for space. We saw dolphins every day, a few times a day. So much fun was had back and forth between the ocean, the pool, and the rec room! Kids and adults were definitely ready for bed each night. This house was perfect for our large family. We had our own suite. Each of our adult children had a room. And the grandchildren had the “dorm” room or slept in their parent’s room. We could retreat to our space or hang together in the common areas. The hosts have recently done many renovations/updates to the home. They could not have been more helpful with our questions. They were wonderful to work with leading up to our arrival and throughout the week. If you are looking for a beach vacation without the crowds, this is a perfect place to stay!

The trip was great and the house is in the perfect spot. We did have ants but the owners got someone out to treat them right away. The upstairs air struggled to keep up with the high temps of the week but the bottom 2 floors were ice cold! We’d definitely visit again

A relaxing vacation on the beach!

This house on the beach was perfect for my family. This was my family's first time staying on the beach. It made it so easy for everyone to go to the beach when they wanted and my parents could watch the beach from the house or come down if they felt up to it. The house has amazing views from the lower deck off of the master bedroom and upstairs balcony as well as from the living room. We watched the dolphins swim by at all times of the day. We loved the kitchen it was so nice to cook in and still be able to socialize with the family in the open plan of the living room and dining room off the kitchen. We enjoyed the pool table, puzzles, and board games, available in the house. The house has so much character! you can tell by all the pictures and other things on the wall that the owners are very good people and that they would be fun to get to know. My family and I highly recommend this unique beach house that truly embraces the originality of Sandbridge.

Memorably unsettling experience

I have literally never left a negative review anywhere. I have always felt that everyone should have the opportunity to right a wrong - or to hear feedback personally so they can move forth with that information. The "I would want to know" mantra. Well this experience was beyond the pale & I am thusly compelled to share so that others have the information they need should they wish, or not to wish, to stay at "Wish List." There were issues. The house was difficult to decipher from the photos, which is fine. That happens. It's an odd property with no flow. No big deal. But we quickly noticed it was also not very clean and a bed in the "Kid Zone" was broken. Other things happened - it's too long a list for here. But in addition to some dilapidating house issues, cleanliness issues, a trash can that had not been emptied with maggots in it by the pool... we also had no hot water for a few days - and the pool shocked our children (apparently, "this happens"). When we returned home we received a message from Joe & Linda telling us we would not be receiving our security deposit because the kitchen was a mess and they found a marijuana pipe on one of the decks. Well, I read those house instructions from cover to cover. Take out the trash, take out the trash cans, make sure furniture and blankets are where they are supposed to be, check, check, check. Dishes? Nothing about dishes in there. Oh, my elderly father has a prescription for medical marijuana to assuage a litany of health issues. Also, marijuana is legal in the state of Virginia, as is alcohol. And it was outside. Our mistake, however, to have left anything behind. Security deposits are withheld for, and I quote, DAMAGE to the property - of which we caused none. When I said as much to Joe and Linda, I received this response: ""This is typical after I have to hold a security deposit. Always exaggerated and never reported even when you reported the trash can and it was taken care of immediately and the lollipop and soda can “not being a hill of beans problem” You will just cause me to explain your situation so that others won’t miss a vacation because of your exaggerated complaints after the fact I also have pictures of how you chose to leave the house. I will not be returning your drug paraphernalia but I do have pictures of what you left I hope another VRBO owner never has to deal with you" And there you have it, folks.

Family Friendly on the Beach

You can’t beat the location! This was our first time to rent a home on the beach and it was awesome— so convenient for all the family ( ranging from an infant to senior citizens). The house was spacious and accommodating. The kids loved the game room and the bedroom below it as well. The pool was a great way to cool off. The newly remodeled kitchen was well done. The nearby bar area worked well for our family as we used it as a separate food prep area for family members who need to be gluten- free. My only criticism was the housekeeping. We arrived to very sandy floors and dirt and sand in other spots. But communication with the owner had the cleaners return that same day. Also when we requested power washing for the porches the response was quick. There are some odds and ends that need repairs but they do not affect the overall experience of a lovely vacation at Sandbridge.

Sandbridge Oceanfront Getaway!

We had a great time with extended family in this house and the house next door. There were plenty of beds and the hot tub was amazing. The house was clean and the owner very responsive. Ideally I would like to see the listing updated with some pix of the bunk room and new kitchen and floors - we were confused about what bathrooms would accommodate the bunk room when assigning beds. The VRBO listing should also be updated to include that linens are indeed provided as we scrambled to bring linens for each bed since we had family traveling from all over the US and abroad.. The owner was VERY friendly and responsive. We will definitely consider returning in the future. Thank you!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed the house but the house should have been more clean being we were the first people to rent for the season. The new flooring throughout the house and new kitchen were nice. Some other minor updates need made but overall we enjoyed our time there.

great location and beach, fair condition house, very responsive owner

The house 3 stars, the owners responsiveness and help was 5 stars. the house is old, the photos on the website kindda misleading, the cleaning was not great, and we were unlucky as there was mosquitos all over the area that month (or season!). again the house is old, so sometimes no matter how well you clean it, the carpet and bathrooms will still "look" not clean. one of the AC units were broken, told Linda and she sent HVAC service within an hour, and they fixed it. also she sent the cleaning lady, power wash and the pool guy the minute we asked for. The beds were comfortable which is an important thing for me. overall, we enjoyed the stay, great access to the beach, loved the outdoor space, specially the sand area next to the pool, the kids did not need to go to the beach to play in the sand, they kept going from the pool to the sand while we are sitting/BBQing in the same place! we did have so much fun.

Left as Early as possible Dirty/Filled with Mold/Spiders/Pool that shocks/ Danger to All Guests!!!!

Thankfully we checked in 1 day late due schedule conflict we checked out 3 days early as we could no longer stand the conditions of the house. We arrived late afternoon Sunday after a 6 hour drive, we spent Monday on a fishing charter boat (so out of the house for large portions of the day), by Tuesday evening we were ready to check out, the only thing that prevented us from leaving Tuesday night was inability to pack up everything and get 7 kids ready to go at 1030pm. We left the house Wednesday morning as soon as we finished packing. -The pool shocks people swimming! The hosts solution was 1) shock shouldn't be deadly, shocks can be avoided if you don’t touch sides/ridges of the pool, impossible for kids not to do. - Horrific smell of mold/mildew (clearly like black mold) throughout the entire house we took pictures -cobwebs/bugs/spiders/ants in every corner of the house, any drawers, closets, bathroom, kitchen, living room, deck was overrun with bugs/spiders/webs/ants. Didn't even unpack my suitcase as there was not a clean place for our clothes!!! -Broken 3rd Floor window that wouldn't shut at infants height level / we had to move a piece of furniture to stay in front of the window after our infant pushed it and nearly fell out due to it not being able to be closed. Also note that the fact the window not being able to be shut allowed more bugs/spiders in each hour, and especially at night when they are attracted to the inside lights. -Random hair throughout the house, saw hair on the following items beds/ bathroom/ kitchen/ dishes/utensils. -Dirty/dusty/web infested kitchen supplies cups/plates/silverware -Large stains throughout the house including carpet, couches, bedding, walls -Don’t even think you can sit outside and escape it, outside decks were infested with spiders. I counted 25 in an area of 5 feet that were HUGE!!! --There are six wall cutouts that look like windows throughout the house that are inches from the ground. If I had seen them, we would have not booked due to the fact that there is absolutely NOTHING preventing a child to simply step through them and fall down two flights of stairs! - We notified host we were leaving and left Wednesday morning. I find it appalling, irresponsible and questionable ethically that you would allow people with young children to stay in this house. We requested a refund due to these horrific conditions/discrepancies of the listing. Pics/Videos available @ amar2123@gmail.com. 0 Stars!!

Started out iffy but ended good.

When we arrived at the property it was a dirty mess, I contacted the owner and she sent the cleaning crew out the next morning and all was well. The location of the house is great, the beach in front of the house wasn’t too crowded and there was plenty of room in the house for the group of 16 that we had.

Great time at Wish List

There were 15 of us, 8 adults and 7 grandchildren age 9 to 16. The house was perfect for our vacation. Really enjoyed the pool, the hot tub and the pool table - something for everyone. Great being able to walk out to the uncrowned beach. Beds were comfortable. Linda was very quick to respond to our questions. We had a wonderful stay and would do it again.

Home away from home

We had a fantastic week with 4 families and our teenage to young adult children. Plenty of space to spread out and not feel on top of each other. The private beach access was great and still had a lifeguard nearby. The pool was clean and a nice size. The beds and pillows were so comfortable it felt like home. Lots of games and books to use. We had a couple of issues (broken dryer, water in bottom bedroom after a huge rainstorm), but managed through it and Linda was easy to reach and responded immediately. We loved sitting on the decks at night but there were a ton of mosquitos and some cobwebs that we used a broom to try to clean off. Overall, it was a very cool house in a nice location and we would definitely stay here again.

We vacationed often in Virginia Beach and loved the secluded beach areas of Sandbridge. We loved watching the dolphins play in the summer and the whales in the fall and winter. Our Black Lab loves to run the beach. Once our son graduated from college we decided to purchase a 2nd vacation home. We love it here.

We bought this house because it was ocean front, no carrying blankets and coolers or leaving the beach for bathrooms everything is located where you don't have to pack up and leave with the kids! Nap time, no problem you have the decks and the house behind you!
We wanted to share this house with our family and friends all year long and we have since 2000! It's an older home, updated and maintained every year. Our family loves it here. If you want to relax and enjoy the beach and pool this is the place.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Adding the pool Oceanside only increased the pleasure of living in this beautiful setting. Long walks on the beach and leisurely dinners on the oceanfront only added to our enjoyment of the property.
