This is our annual family beach week. Overall the house, location and amenities were good. The beds were comfy, the WiFi worked beautifully, we loved the pool and hot tub and the easy access to the beach. The laundry facilities were fine and the towels were plentiful. We like to have game nights and work puzzles...the living area and furniture was quite amendable for this. Overall we were pleased with the property, management and amenities. While the house wasn't bad. We did initially have quite a few issues when we arrived. The elevator wasn't working, the main tv didn't work for our stay, the cabinet door in the one bathroom fell off, and we had a hard time getting in touch with property management to resolve these issues. Once we did get a hold of them they said they would send someone out the next day, however I had to get back in contact with the managment team before they actually sent someone out. While these ossues were fairly minor we have never had to call a managment team more than once witb an issue before they were sending someone out to help us out. The genteman who came out to fix said issues was very friendly and was more than capable of fixing the issues we were having.

Reviewer Comments: Overall the rental wasn’t bad, except for the door code wouldn’t work. Got 1 key to open the door and for a rental that can accommodate multiple families, trying to coordinate and keep up with 1 key was extremely frustrating. Also the elevator only got to make one trip before it quit working, that wouldn’t have been such a big deal, had we had a door code or multiple keys.

Beach House Mansion

Yes, our beach house mansion is what my little nephew called the house. We absolutely loved the place. So clean and perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The convenience of the elevator and the easy access to the beach was a big help with my parents who have a little trouble getting around. The beds were super comfortable too. I usually don't sleep well in other places but I didn't have any problem falling to sleep after relaxing in the hot tub every night and climbing into bed. The bedside stairs were a nice touch as I'm 5'1". LOL! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful house. We hope to stay there again next year.

Really liked the property and there are more good things to say about our experience than bad; however, there were a couple of things that could have been better. We vacation with our pets and our Great Dane recently had surgery to repair her torn ACL so it was important for us to have an elevator. When we arrived, the elevator was inoperable but the management company fixed the issue within 24 hours. Also, the refrigerator did not produce filtered water or ice so we had to buy both for the entire trip. Management sent over a repairman but said it was something more complicated than he could handle. I suggested that the water was likely not turned on and he said he did not feel comfortable taking that on. So, I pulled the frig out and, sure enough, the water valve was not turned on. I let the management company know and they said to turn it back off immediately since there was a known leak. Really? They offered no fix.

Finally Found THE House!

Reviewer Comments: My group of friends and I have been coming to Topsail for years and we finally found a house that hit all our “must haves.” Layout of the house was great and we appreciated the roomy and open common areas, it allowed us all to be in one place without tripping over each other or feeling claustrophobic. The view was FANTASTIC, honestly the photos don’t do it justice, it’s way closer to the waves than it appears. Rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well organized and had almost everything you need to prepare large meals (a hand mixer and a crockpot would be helpful in the future) but I did appreciate the ample cabinet space to store our own items. The home was tastefully decorated without being cluttered. Pool, hot tub, and elevator were extras we never thought we needed but enjoyed so much we may never be able to give them up.In the spirit of honesty, there were a few very minor cons, but nothing that would deter us from renting this lovely property again. 1. We wish the ice maker in the fridge would have been connected and functional, but nothing a few Dollar Store ice cube trays couldn’t solve. 2. The elevator did work but was tricky and sometimes had a mind of its own. We had more than a few moments where we couldn’t get it to leave the ground floor or we panicked and thought someone was stuck inside. 3. I realize these properties often have to have a quick turnaround and things can get overlooked, but I wouldn’t say it was the cleanest when we moved in. We found spaghetti (we hope) stains on the wall, hair that wasn’t ours in the bathrooms, dust bunnies for days when we pulled out the trundle bed, and the washing machine is moldy and has a pretty strong smell. But they do leave an available closet with some cleaning supplies so those were mostly fixable issues.Overall the property was beautiful, the location was perfect, the rental price was fair, and the extra a
