This villa is exceptional. It is beautifully furnished and spacious. The host was extremely responsive and gracious. Stunning views from the gorgeous balconies. Two lovely ensuite bedrooms with high quality linens and towels. Well appointed kitchen with anything you need to make a meal. We will be back!

Great Location!

The villa was perfectly situated right on the golf course with a private balcony in the bedroom upstairs as well as a balcony with a table for eating your meals outside. Inside was great plenty of room to spread out while it was just the wife and I this trip we would easily rent the same place coming back for a family vacation. I would suggest renting a golf cart as getting down to the owners beach club is a little bit of a hike.

Clean, Comfortable, one downfall

The condo was clean and comfortable. Located near the beach and El Yunque! We enjoyed the rain forest and spent time in Fajardo at Seven Seas Beach. The property manager was very responsive with answering any questions. Check in and out was very convenient. The only downfall of Cluster 1 is it doesn't have a pool and you cannot swim in the Wyndham pool by the beach unless you are accompanied by the condo owner.

Family spring break

Great location! Lots of options for eating out in Palmer, Rio Grande and Luquillo! Loved the patio/deck area and spent quite a bit of time there in the mornings and evenings. Great and authentic villa. As others stated, kitchen is a little dated but has everything needed to make a meal. Overall a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Cluster One at Rio Mar. The golf courses were a bit mucky and it rained more than we would have liked, but love the restaurants and Luquillo Beach. The condo is spacious and we enjoyed watching golfers come by and their various good and bad approach shots to the ninth green. Wi-fi was mostly on but signal did go in and out. Spent a lot of time on the spacious deck with great golf course view.

GOLF PARADISE

Absolutely as good as it gets for a golf vacation in Puerto Rico. A villa with ambiance and comfort just a stone’s throw from the Rio Mar golf clubhouse, it’s Iguana’s fine dining restaurant and a view of the Ocean Course to die for. Most of all though, it was not only the home itself, but the warm and caring support from Eugenia and all the Rio Mar folks that made our stay so memorable. Cannot wait to return.

Very clean condo. 3 Air conditioners worked well. Beds were very firm and blankets were soft. Host had beach towels and games for us to use. Unique space with beautiful tiles.

Rio Grande Stay

We had a nice stay here! Pros are Eugenia was so very kind and communicative throughout the stay. There is a/c in bedrooms and living area downstairs. The views of the golf course are nice too. We enjoyed walks in the evenings and beach at the Beach Club in the day. Felt very safe the whole time. The only downside is that the laundry is not in the unit, but there is a community area to do laundry which is what we did! Overall, you should consider this condo for you vacation!

Great location with beautiful views

The property is located in a gated community and feels very safe and well maintained grounds. The balcony is very large and is an excellent place for breakfast and dinner. The pool is just a short five minutes drive and is right by the beach. The beach is beautiful The property itself is clean. It is traditional Spanish style villa with white walls and vintage tile. Keep in mind that the kitchen is original and is in pretty bad shape. The host was easy to get in touch with I'd come back to this place

The listing doesn’t do it justice

Not only is this property clean, spacious, and conveniently located, but fully stocked with everything you could ever need. Sunscreen, a fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, beach games, board games, you name it, it’s there. Eugenia is wonderful and so accommodating. The neighborhood is inviting and conveniently located to the resort for easy access to all things Rio Mar. Rio Mar has been our favorite PR stay, but I will never again stay in the hotel after staying at Villa Arora. Beautiful views, wonderful time, 11 out of 10.

Very good vacation spot

We are a family of 5 with 3 teens ages 14-18. We stayed for a week in Puerto Rico. Below is my list of pros and cons for this property. Pros:- Eugenia was very responsive to my messages - Neighborhood and resort felt very safe, clean and well-managed. - air conditioning in each room worked wonderfully and is an absolute necessity. - Property location is great as it is near El Yunque and still close to San Juan and Ceiba (for ferry service to Culebra and Vieques) - Beach at the resort was very good. We did not stay at the resort much, so I can’t comment on other resort amenities. - onsite parking was super easy- property has body boards and other sand toys Cons:- the property is very outdated and is in need of some major repairs. Floor and counter tiles were broken and missing and the appliances need to be replaced and updated. - The lighting is very poor in the unit. What little number of lamps that were in the property didn’t work. - Don’t expect a hot shower. The water heater only worked part of the time to make the water lukewarm at best. Overall, this is a beautiful property in an amazing location that, with some repairs, updating and a little more attention to the renter experience would be an A property. If the price is competitive, I’d recommend taking it.

Loved Eugenia's villa!!

My wife, our 2 months son and I rented Eugenia's villa for two weeks early January. We really had the best time ever. The villa is exactly like on the pictures posted on the website (actually the villa is better in reality as the view from the spacious terrace is truly magnificent). Very spacious, well maintained and calm (you will only hear the birds singing), the villa is the right place to stay if you are looking to relax and enjoy all the great things that Rio Mar has to offer. The swimming pool is located in a wonderful area right next to the beach (very clean) so you can alternate between the Ocean and the swimming pool if you wish. We also managed to regularly use all the amenities of the hotel (by just going to the concierge who gave us free passes). Many great places to eat around the villa. I would especially recommend the Iganua Pub (located only a few minutes away from the house). You will not find anyone better than Eugenia. She was very responsive, kind and attentive to all our needs. We had to deal with a health issue and she helped us all the way through for several days. Her assistance was invaluable and I wish we had such a landlord in New York! We are already thinking of going back to Rio Mar soon and have recommended the villa to friends. Enjoy!

A Beauitiful Place and wonderful experience

We stayed at Eugenia's Villa from 4/10/13-4/16/13. She met us at the rental car agency upon arrival and handed me the keys and remote to her place. Location is fantastic and a easy 30 minute drive from the airport. The villa was spacious, clean and had a lovely outdoor area overlooking a beautiful golf course where we spent most of our nights playing cards and having cocktails. The resident pool was spacious and located on the ocean side. The shuttle service was prompt came every 15 minutes and it was a quick 2 minute drive to the beach. I would highly recommend this to other people. My only recommendations to Eugenia is 1) The television does not have cable, did have a dvd player and some movies but it's nice to have that down time with tv. 2) Due to changes with Wyndham Beach Resort which happened more recently, we did not have access to there pools and water slide at the Wyndham Beach Resort. The reason I stated this is we were told we had full access and upon arrival we found out we did not. I would recommend that this Beach Resort be part of the stay as it is a fantastic place. I talked with Eugenia and she felt bad and said that they were negotiating a deal to give them access again. Overall this place was fantastic and I would highly recommend this to anyone based on location. I just wanted to let you know that depending on outcome you may not have access to beach resort(which is very important). Thanks Eugenia this was a beautiful place and it was a pleasure to do business with you. We are already looking to come back next year.

Really, really lovely

My partner and I rented the villa for a long weekend for the purposes of finding a place to buy in Rio Mar. Staying in this villa made our work extremely hard because we found ourselves constantly comparing all the other places to this one. It is spacious, with a very nicely sized living room, generously sized bedrooms and a very large terrace. The place is surrounded by lush landscaping and the views to the golf course are quite exquisite as well. The owner, Eugenia, was also extremely accommodating--she was quick to respond to all questions and requests, and helped us to get online at the villa as well. It was a perfect home base for our own personal villa search. And I'm delighted to say that we left Rio Mar at the end of the long weekend with a signed contract. We cannot wait to get back to Rio Mar for the closing! It is, indeed, a serene, idyllic place get away and unwind and recharge.

Rio Mar Villa

In August 2012, my husband, 2 year old daughter and I stayed at Rio Mar Villa in Puerto Rico for 10 days. The owner Eugenia was very accommodating to our needs and requests. She was able to assist us with all aspects of our vacation, the Villa was comfortable and the hotel amenities are incredible. At times, it seemed that we were the only one's using the Villa pool. The owner went above and beyond her call of duty by providing us with additional items during our stay. Our two year daughter particularly enjoyed the toys, the kid friendly videos and the pool. The owner was always prompt and quick to respond to our emails and phone calls, before hand and during our stay. The level of professionalism and service was outstanding and we would highly recommend the Villa. Our family really appreciated the time Eugenia dedicated to helping us enjoy our vacation. We were able to relax while having all the comforts of home. We are looking forward to our next vacation in July. Sincerely, JB

Great Vacation Villa

We are two brothers with our respective families who had a memorable two weeks in Puerto Rico and especially enjoyed our stay in this villa. Once we arrived at the villa, we were not disappointed at all since the photos on the web site were true to the villa's amenities and beautiful location overlooking the golf course. The amazing beach and the pool were at walking distance, as well as the Rio Mar Hyatt Hotel. Visiting the rain forest in Luquillo, kayaking at the builuminescent bay in Fajardo, or renting a catamaran to go snorkeling, it all added to the unforgettable experience. The villa was very clean and well kept, as well as equipped with your everyday necessities. There were plenty of beds since we were a group of nine, although we found that there were not enough bed linens. Then again, we may have overlooked the storage where the linens may have been kept. (The villa is very roomy with lots of storage space.) Since my first talk with Eugenia, she made sure all my questions and concerns were answered. She was also very accommodating in making sure we had the keys to the villa right after we arrived at the airport. All in all, it was a wonderful trip, definitely enhanced by our stay at this villa. There is no doubt that we will visit Puerto Rico again and will make sure to call Eugenia and make a reservation when the time comes. Thanks, Eugenia.

Truly a Dream Stay!!!

First of all my family and I fell in love with this special place! The villa acommodates guests comfortably with lots and I mean LOTS of space for families! YOU CANT BEAT THE LOCATION perfect for families with children!! I mean litterally right across the street from el Yunque and Hacienda Caraballi (which I highly reccomend), less than 10 min. from the Kioskos at Luquillo and Luquillo Beach, a 20 min drive to Las Croabas/Cabezas de San Juan, also Route 66 makes it a 30 min drive to San Juan which me and my wife went for a nightlife twice and it's a breeze of a drive, bottom line..access to everything not to forget access to Rio Mar Resort beach and pools. Eugenia the owner was a blessing for us, she went out of her way to answer our questions and provided us with a unique stay!! I highly recommend this villa to anyone, it has a true Puerto Rico ambience and decor with traditional tiles and rustic designs, just enjoying our meals in that beatifull balcony with such a beautiful view was priceless!! I'm a current employee of a prestigious hospitality company and have been for many years and I fell in love with this place, We were that sattisfied and God willing will return again!!!

Cute villa, spacious and accomodating!

We stayed just a couple nights at this villa and found it plenty spacious for all of us (4 adults, 3 children)...all had a place to sleep. It is in a beautiful area, the grounds are so pretty! Owner was great to work with! The place is well kept and has a wonderful feel to it. Only downside was how firm beds were (but I'm kind of a baby that way), and no dishwasher (which would be nice to add, but it was my fault for not noticing)... And besides, it's still a wonderful place to stay, a great value, very nice owner & trustworthy w/ deposit, etc. The villa is very safe (which is huge), and I would recommend it! Thank you very much!

Fabulous getaway!

This was our very first experience renting a villa from a private owner and I can't express how happy we turned out to be. We are a family of six with four young children (9, 8, 5 and 2) and the space was perfect for us. All four of our children (one in a crib) stayed in the second fairly large bedroom with their own full bathroom. There are other spots to sleep, too, but this arrangement worked perfectly for us. The master is large with a lovely veranda overlooking the golf course. The main living areas were perfect, too. Everything opens out into the lush scenery and instantly took the dreary NY winter blues off our minds. The villa is clean and well appointed with towels, everything you'd need to cook and even many toiletries! There were games for the kids to play and tons of DVD's for a variety of audiences. Our favorite part of the villa was the main veranda. We ate every meal there and even entertained friends staying in a villa just around the bend. This villa's location is perfect, too. It's very close to the shuttle that brings you to the hotel but far enough away so you feel nestled in the gorgeous natural surroundings. From our very first inquiry, and there were many, Eugenia was so incredibly helpful and informative. There was not one question or need that she didn't meet. When we arrived, she was waiting for us with keys in hand, gave us a tour of the villa and was on her way. The entire experience was wonderful and I highly recommend you book this villa with the greatest confidence!

Wonderful Family Vacation Spot

We loved our stay. The place is well maintained and nicely decorated. The ocean and pools are nearby. We particularly enjoyed the more quiet pool and beach- there are options to explore. Golf and tennis are also available. We loved going for an early morning run along the golf course down to the beach. The resort is very safe and everyone we met were very friendly. A very welcoming atmosphere. We went to El Yunque as well as went on a bioluminescence kayaking tour. Both those trips were an easy car ride from Rio Mar. Horse back riding, shopping and restaurants are also very nearby. In short, a perfect location! There were 9 in our group. Although there are only two bedrooms, there are plenty of beds and there was plenty of space for all in the common areas.The kitchen is small but functional and nicely equipped. We enjoyed having our meals on the deck, watching the beautiful sunset at dinner. The owners were exceptional in communicating with us. Wonderfully responsible and flexible. We felt right at home. We truly recommend staying here and hope to be back soon.
