Welcome to The Driftwood Cottage! A cozy 2-bedroom home in Grand Marais, MI.

Our cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home is nestled in the beautiful town of Grand Marais and offers everything needed to accommodate snowmobilers and off-road enthusiasts. Our home has a fully functional kitchen, with the exception of a dishwasher, and plenty of cooking & dining utensils. The living room offers 2 couches, a chair, and a flat-screen tv with Amazon Fire Stick. Located less than 1/4 mile from Trail 8 and the gas station, within walking distance to town, with bars, restaurants, and shopping, and to the beautiful beaches of Lake Superior. There are tons of places to visit nearby - waterfalls, beaches for rock hunting, trails for hiking, kayaking in the bay, fishing, and hunting. The property offers space for trailer parking, up to two large trailers. Situated on the east end of Pictured Rocks and the Grand Sable Dunes. A charcoal grill and firepit are available out back. There is always an exterior driveway camera in use for security reasons.

Rickhunting home away from home

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very cozy and clean. The cabin had all the supplies needed. It was a great location for rock hunting and visiting the waterfalls.

You, pretty much have everything you need. Bring laundry soap, fab sheets, shower soap, & shampoo, those are not provided. Very close (minutes) to beach, gas station, resturant, & hardware store. There was a gift shop, but, wasn’t open when we were there.This is our 2nd time staying here. Like all the conveniences.Our host did a good job communicating with me. Only suggestion I have for them, put a shade in the window over tv. That morning sun is bright sitting on the love seat having coffee. Cushion on couch closest to front door is getting worn & really uncomfy. I would defiantly stay here a 3rd time.

Comfortable Cottage Close to Town

This was a great location for our snowmobile trip to the Grand Marais area. Close proximity to town where you can snowmobile or drive to restaurants and bars. Cottage had all the necessary amenities for our stay in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows, sheets and comforters.

Great location for 4 season fun!

Cute and clean this place had everything we needed for our small snowmobile group. Close to town and trails. Had parking for 1 truck and trailer and all of our sleds. Easy access to the house and Brett was great host and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again when in Grand Maris.
