Welcome to The Sandy Pineapple in Port St. Joe of the Forgotten Coast!

Our beach house provides direct access to St. Joe Beach, a 3 minute walk to white sands, this is a family & pet friendly beach that feels like a private beach! Relax and enjoy 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, screened porch, fenced backyard with fire pit, board games and 4 flat screen smart TVs. There is plenty of parking available, including space for boats! The Sandy Pineapple is a short drive to Windmark Beach Town Center (5 min.), Mexico Beach (10 min.), downtown Port St. Joe (10 min.) and Cape San Blas (20 min.).

******THE SPACE******

The Sandy Pineapple has everything you need to entertain up to 8 guests including 4 beautifully decorated coastal themed bedrooms!

The kitchen is equipped with quartz countertops, a stocked coffee bar featuring a single cup and carafe coffee machine, kitchen island with 4 stools, dining table with seating for 8, stainless steel dishwasher, toaster, microwave oven, electric stove, and is fully appointed to prepare meals (pots, pans, plates, bowls, silverware and cups).

The living room features a couch with integrated recliners, 43" Roku smart TV, and several board games, puzzles and books for the whole family.

Enjoy a fantastic outdoor area with a fully fenced in backyard and firepit where you can lounge and refresh with a drink after a day at the beach. The Sandy Pineapple has a furnished screened porch, accessible through one of the bedrooms, which is the most perfect place to listen to the ocean waves with beautiful views of the sunset!

3 bedrooms are furnished with queen beds, and 1 bedroom has 2 single beds. All beds have Helix mattresses. The bedrooms with queen beds each have a Roku smart TV with streaming local channels and movies (BYO logins for Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, etc.).

The two full bathrooms have beautifully tiled showers and Beekman 1802 shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. (Please note that the second bathroom is small in size and both bathrooms offer showers only - no bathtubs).

The Sandy Pineapple has the highest speed internet available in the area (1 GB). Come recharge and get a little work done if needed as well.

When you're ready to go to the beach, you will find 6 beach chairs, towels, a beach umbrella, beach cart, beach toys and boogie boards.

******POLICIES & RULES******

- Maximum 2 dogs are permittedy with $100 pet fee. Please notify the host before bringing any pets into The Sandy Pineapple. Pets must be house trained and are not allowed on the furniture or beds.

- Guest making the reservation must be at least 25 years old and be present for the entire duration of the stay.

- No parties, events or large gatherings

- No smoking inside the house

- This house can host a maximum of 8 guests.

- Never leave a fire in the fire pit unattended. After use, all fires must be fully extinguished.

- For your safety and ours, there are 2 cameras installed on the exterior of the property that cannot be disabled or removed: 1 camera above the screened porch door pointed at the driveway and 1 Ring doorbell adjacent to the front door.

You can tell that owners take great pride in their property and being a great host. Appreciated how everything was clearly marked in the house. We made use of the beach chairs and beach cart. All was in excellent condition. Super easy access to the beach, plenty of parking. It made vacation so relaxing. We loved having a beverage each night on the porch.

The house was packed with extras. Items for my loved four legged friend, Jase. Dish soap, toothbrushes, and grilling supplies. Loved the oyster shells around the house. The porch was nice for morning coffee and watching the rain. Close to the beach! Enjoyed by all!

Perfect

The property was clean, maintained a good temperature, had plenty of space, and was perfect for our dogs. The porch and the yard were excellent touches. The property was close to the beach and had an excellent selection of restaurants within walking distance. Check-in was simple and easy and the selection of beach equipment was very helpful.

Quite and Peaceful

Overall the property was clean and conveniently located to the beach access where you can take your dogs. It was a 2 minute drive from the property. There was also a off leash dog park close by as well.We enjoyed how quiet the neighbors were during our stay.

Property was clean, organized, and well maintained. Our two pups had a great time as well, as the grass was freshly mowed when we arrived, and promptly mowed again the next week. We stayed two weeks and the home had ample space for eight adults and two canines. The AC cools plenty even at 72 degrees, and the screened porch is a great space to relax and listed to the ocean waves in the evening. Our entire crew had a great time all around and zero complaints. Jenn was very attentive and communicated very quickly. This is our favorite area of Mexico Beach/St Joe Beach because less people come this way, and we will certainly book The Sandy Pineapple again!

I travel a lot. I have to stay this was the best house I have stayed in. Great location. House was well stocked with anything we could have possibly needed. Hosts were so responsive and thoughtful. Highly recommend.

Family fun at the beach

This home is a warm and happy place to vacation. It’s an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked and there’s lot a of room at the kitchen table! I would highly recommend this rental!!

Perfect stay near the beach.

This quaint beach house has everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. The backyard with a fire pit is the ideal spot to wind down after a day in the sun. The host went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, providing everything from dog accessories to beach towels and even an arcade machine for the kids. If you're looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay by the beach, this is it.

Vacation Week at Sandy Pineapple

We had a great time at the Sandy Pineapple! The VRBO listing was accurate and we arrived to find a very clean home that was very well stocked. Views of the sunset from the screened front porch, the fenced back yard for our 2 small dogs and the short walk to the beach were wonderful amenities. Thanks Jenn and Betsy for your great communications starting on Day 1 when we booked our stay!

Quaint and Cute: great location!

The location was perfect! We were only minutes from the beach- and it was an easy walk. Our mother, who turned 75, was in heaven! She walked to the beach every morning- and sometimes at night too. As did the rest of us. Upon arrival we were surprised by towels and bowls for our dogs! They enjoyed the fenced in backyard. It was great sitting outside or in the enclosed patio for our morning coffee. Very peaceful. The dining room table was perfect for our group of 8- not just to eat but also to play board games. It’s also not far from St. Joseph Bay where my brother and the kids went clamming a few nights. Having the Dollar General Marketplace nearby was very convenient when we decided to make s’mores over the firepit. We all very much enjoyed our stay!

Great place for a family and a great value

The hosts have done a great job of taking this house and maximizing it for a family. We had six folks in our group, 3 teens and 3 adults. There was more than enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably and find a spot to relax in the daytime. We never felt on top of one another. Everyone enjoyed the screened front porch with ceiling fan. This is an older home that was renovated and the open floor plan with the kitchen', floating bar into the dining and living area made for a spacious area for us to all hang out and have family dining nights with everyone around the same table. The AC never struggled and the temp and humidity inside were better than any other place we've stayed and I've been coming down here since the late 90's! With six people we were really grateful for two walk in showers!We rented a golf cart and having a covered carport to keep the cart and stage our stuff for beach trips was another positive. Next to the carport was a fire pit surrounded by white gravel and 4 Adirondack chairs. It was a great place to relax in the evening and with the string lights off take in the stars. Behind the carport was a small room with the laundry and anything beach related you could want: beach towels, toys, chairs, umbrellas, a beach caddie.If I really wanted to pick a nit, a few more bath towels and one large skillet would be a nice addition. But those seem like ridiculous quibbles. The hosts were genuinely concerned that we enjoyed our stay and we did.A
